"Mmm...Which one do I get...?" Hae Ri mumbled to herself. In each of her hands were two books on photography, each of them introducing new ideas and methods to making photos come out better or even more interesting. Truthfully speaking, she didn't need to add more books to her already extensive collection but she always enjoyed reading such material. Sometimes it even gave her inspiration for her assignments. "Why are they so expensive...?" She whined, staring at the prices on the back of the books.

As she contemplated over the two books, she let herself fall into the flow of the music and hummed along quietly, ocassionally swaying along with it. A small sigh escaped her lips, it would seem the only way to chose between the books was to play eeny-meeny-minee-mow with herself. Her eyes switched back and forth and sung the small game in her head before landing on the one in her right hand. So it was settled! She put the other back on the shelf and hugged the book to her chest, a large smile on her face. Sure, most people her age would find these kinds of books boring. But Hae Ri loved to read, and loved to learn new things about cameras and images.

"Oh... I wonder if that book in my series came out..." She wondered out loud, surely she would have enough left over for the one she was thinking of. Her lips pursed together in thought as she walked down the main isle of the store towards check out. Even Hae Ri couldn't stop herself from heading towards the 'Teen Fiction' section of the store... She already could feel her cheeks turning red, how could she still be into such childish books about love and romance? Did she have no shame as an adult now?

"Yah! Do you want to fail college in your second year!?" A high pitched voice yelled. Hae Ri jumped in shock and ducked behind an isle of books for cover. How would be yelling so loud in such a quiet place? Someone with no manners obviously... "First exams of the year are coming up and you haven't done a single thing to study for them! You never even purchased your books for this year either...!" Hae Ri peeked around the isle of books to see two boys standing in front of the section for General Education. The one facing her wore a baggy black sweatshirt, his face was a bit long and he certainly looked upset.

"Why are you making a fuss over it? It'll be fine." The second boy that had his back to her spoke in a deep voice. Hae Ri's eyes gazed at the two of them, the boy facing away from her wore a black sleeveless jersey over a similar black sweatshirt. But what made her more interested was the string backpack with 'SUGA' written in white block letters. She knew she had seen that name somewhere before... But she just couldn't put her finger on it.

"You barely passed last year, how do you expect to pass this year...!?" The long faced boy spoke through a clenched jaw, trying to hold in his anger. Hae Ri knew that she shouldn't be eeves dropping like this, but it was hard not to. After all, they were being so loud and noisy in a place where silence is pretty important.

"I'm a pretty lucky guy." The other answered with a lazy shrug, "Look, can we go yet? I have a date. Let's buy books another time."

"Bullshit!" He yelled and immediately shut his mouth, his cheeks turning bright red. Suddenly he noticed Hae Ri hiding behind the book case watching them and her cheeks flared up as she quickly hid completely from view. He saw her! Was he going to come yell at her for her childish behavior? Hae Ri immediately sunk her face into her fluffy scarf and screamed internally. "People are starting to stare...! Just take the damn books and study for once. As your roommate and friend, just do it! I'll even pay for them myself if you're going to be an ass about it." He huffed. She could hear him stacking books and she looked around the book shelf one more time to see him handing the other boy book upon book.

"Why so many!?" He yelled, his arms shaking slightly under the weight.

"Knowing you, you need all the help you can get." The long faced one scoffed, "Here's my wallet, go pay for them." He set his wallet on top of the five books in the other arms and watched him walk off towards the check out line. He then looked to Hae Ri once more and started walking towards her. She knew what was coming so she quickly turned back into the isle and opened the photography book in her hands and pretended to read it. She heard footsteps next to her and shifted her gaze to the floor, where two white sneakers were. Her cheeks turned bright red and she left like she was going to cry any moment.

"Excuse me...?" He spoke quietly. All Hae Ri could do was scream inside her head, Go Away! Go Away! Go Away! Go Away! I don't want you to talk to me...! She lifted her head slightly to look at the boy, making sure her scarf covered her blazing cheeks up to her nose. "I-I'm sorry for being so loud." He frowned and bowed to her almost at a perfect ninety degrees, shocking Hae Ri. When he stood up straight she could see how red his ears were, he must be so embarrassed.

"N-No... It's fine... I-I should have ignored you guys..." Hae Ri apologized, bowing to the boy as well. Please just go away... This is too much for one day... She tried to send him telepathically. Her heart was pounding so fast that it made her chest hurt terribly. The boy then smiled at her, revealing perfectly straight white teeth. Why hadn't he left yet? Hae Ri was starting to panic, she had never been in a situation like this where someone she didn't know initiated a conversation with her.

"What's that?" The boy smiled, looking to the book in her hand. Defensively, Hae Ri pulled it into her chest and squeezed it into her. He had to leave before she fianted or something, this was too much socialization for her. "You like photography? That's pretty awesome, you know... I'm pretty photogenic myself." He laughed and struck a funny model pose. Despite her best efforts she couldn't help but smile into her scarf and let out a small giggle which made the boy blush and scratch the back of his head. "Ah, my friend must be waiting for me by now. It was nice to talk to you." He smiled and walked off.

Immediately after he disappeared Hae Ri let out a loud and exhausted sigh as she fell onto the floor, too exhausted to even move. She had never experienced something like that, usually people just ignored her. There was nothing interesting about her that people ever took interest in before, so why did he actually try to make a conversation with her? Almost instictively she grabbed her scar and pulled it up covering her nose to try and feel like she was hiding from the world.

"I-I have to get back to the dorm..." She mumbled, tears threatening to fall.

"Yah! Where the hell did you run off to!?" YoonGi yelled as he watched his junior walk out of the book store with a smile on his face. The books were starting to weigh on his arms and they began to sting terribly.

"A girl was watching us, so I had to apologize to her for being so loud." He shrugged, grabbing one of the bags out of his friend's hand. YoonGi rolled his eyes and scoffed at his friend, always having to be so polite even when it wasn't needed. Looking closely he could see the remains of redness in his cheek bones and ears, "What...? Why are you blushing?" He narrowed his eyes.

"Oh?" His hands covered his cheeks like a school girl, "Ahhhh, she was very pretty." He chuckled and pretended to act flustered.

"Any girl that spends her time eeves dropping isn't pretty at all." YoonGi frowned as they continued to walk down the chilly street. He lifted his arm to check the shiny black watch he wore around his left wrist. "Aish, I'm gonna be late. She's gonna rip my head off." He groaned, already tired from today. Why were women so exhausting to be around lately? He honestly would rather go home and sleep. When he heard no response from his opinionated friend and looked over sharply, "Are you even listening, Hoseok!? If I don't come back tonight it's your fault!" He barked, but shut up when he saw his friend watching his feet as he walked with a dorky smile on his face. "Was she seriously that pretty or something?"

His friend shrugged his shoulders childishly and chuckled again, geez. He was like a love sick puppy and it made YoonGi want to vommit, "You won't think she's pretty. But I thought she was gorgeous." His cheeks went red again and YoonGi let out a sigh.

"Why don't you go back and ask for her number or something? Stop playing the shy card already." He rolled his eyes and kept watching what was in front of him, it was too chilly for lots of people to be out but just in case he didn't want to hit anyone on accident.

"Nah, I'll probably never see her again anyways. So who are you going out with tonight? That girl from last week?" He looked up to his hyung, expecting a sappy answer.

"Yeah." He simply replied with a shrug.

"Aish, are you always this cold? Anyways, what's her name? You never told me, I'm your roommate after all!" Hoseok whined, a little upset that his friend didn't tell him more about his love life.

"Stephanie." He answered again with another indifferent shrug.
