The War Between Worlds
Unseen Danger
(2216, two years later)
Juho sat in the conference room, waiting for a meeting. He had woken up early to make sure he didn't miss it. Now he and his team were the only ones in the room, waiting on the leaders…as usual. After twenty minutes of waiting around, they heard the door open, and the leaders walked in. Juho cringed, surprised to see the Zybrian he had been told about in the group. They usually did not want anything to do with humans or Fae. He glanced at Jiyeol, who was sitting next to him. His lover shrugged, twirling his pencil while it was suspended in mid-air. Juho laughed softly. Jiyeol loved using his telekinesis. He would just need to be careful with the Zybrian here. They were not to be trusted. Juho smiled and took Jiyeol’s hand, rubbing it to distract him. He did not need to use his power around this man.
The leader looked over the table, clearing his throat. He leaned forward, then began to speak. "Ladies and gentlemen, I called you here because a threat has arisen on Earth, and we need to be aware of it. The creatures that were unleashed in the Fae Realm a thousand years ago have become a problem, and I believe they will soon filter into Earth. That will cause a huge outbreak, and I am afraid that when they take over, we will not have the backing or resources to take care of it."
One of his officials leaned over, speaking quietly to the leader, who addressed everyone else.
"Another thing is..." He paused. "There is a couple who survived the Zybrian siege, and their child is on Earth somewhere. We need to find him, and see which side he is on."
Juho smiled at him. "Sir, I believe I have a connection to this teen you speak of." One of the men sitting at the table, who was on Juho’s team, glanced at him. He was ignored.
The leader nodded. "Then find him. We need him."
Juho glanced at his man again, this time smiling. “We will. It may take some convincing, though.”

I sat in the cafe, waiting for my coffee. I was watching one particular waiter. He was tall and gorgeous, with a lean, lanky frame. I watched is he moved from one customer to another, taking their orders. I couldn't wait for him to get to my table.
When he finally reached my table, I smiled. He returned the gesture, but looked tired. "Here is the coffee you ordered...sir." He grinned at me. "Would you like anything else?"
"Maybe on your break," I smiled. "We could go grab some food...or something." The last part just slipped out. I loved teasing DaeIl. This was his Summer job, and I was taking full advantage of it.
My sexy boyfriend snickered. "I am getting hungry,” he looked into my eyes. “I'll allow you to treat me to lunch."
"Okay," I replied softly, wishing I could kiss him there in the restaurant, but I knew it would not be proper. I touched him lightly on the arm instead. "I'll see you in an hour, then…to treat you. Bye, babe."
Daeil flashed a bright smile. "You have a dirty mind, you know that? Bye." I didn’t reply, but watched him as he walked away.
When he had walked away, I noticed Seokjun, had entered the restaurant with another young man. I watched them take a seat, and they seemed to be deep in conversation. I also noticed the small device that was in his hand. It looked identical to the flashing one I had found in the magic book...and had completely forgotten about until now. I wondered what they were talking about. I would have to figure out who he had with him and what the device was...later. It could help answer a lot of questions. Right now, I was more interested in taking my sexy boyfriend to lunch.
