Kai's Cinderella

Your POV After Kris, Chanyeol, and Tao helped me a 10 days ago they haven’t left my side along with the other Exo guys. I think it’s because friends have a weird rule where they don’t’ allow you to go through anything alone.
I sigh as I lean against the girl bathroom wall since it’s the only room that I can get away from them.
Even though the first few times 1 or 2 of them did try to follow me.
I had to threaten them to leave me alone. I remember the first day with Sehun who followed me inside.
I was trying to walk away from them but they kept following me.
When I spot a girls bathroom I slipped inside breathing becoming shallower by the second as I calm down.
After a while, they must have gotten to the door cause the next thing I knew I was face to face with Sehun.
“Aish can’t a girl go to the bathroom without 1 of you trying to follow her to the stall and what if someone was in here what would someone think. You guys may not care about your image thinking that people can think whatever they want but I can't’ get in trouble.” I pushed him out of the bathroom and glared at the shocked boys since they heard my outburst, “What is wrong with you guys leave me alone?!”
They didn’t answer me but the way they stared at me I had a feeling that I already knew the answer to my own question.
Since then I’ve started to talk to the 4 of the guys all of which are from China. They talked with me and I talk with them in Chinese well in class or when sitting under the trees. We never seem to really talk about topics that deal with my life outside of school, but it seems to eat all of them alive not knowing anything about me.
Today Kai and Taemin make it to lunch the 1st time since the guys have started to eat with me. Well more follow me and sit down and if I walk away they follow after the third day I gave up.
“So what do you think of us now?” I look up to see that it was Xiumin, who everyone calls Bāozi, which spoke.
I smile at him, “Well Bāozi I think I enjoy your guys company for the moment, but it would be nice if you gave me some space at times.”
Xiumin pouted and looked at me, “Why do you call me Bāozi to?”
I smile as I lean over and mess with his hair like he was a child, “Because you're cute and remind me of my little brother who was actually named Bāozi.”
“Really?”
I nod and I’m truly not even lying about that, “Apparently letting a four year old with a problem with eating food or just thinking of food name a baby was bad idea.”
They laugh and Kai asks, “So you named your brother Bāozi because you wanted one?”
I nod my head, “Yeah and he kind of looked like one so I called him Bāozi all the time and he loved it and he did…”
Kai looks at me and I look down.
I hear Kai ask me in a really worried tone, “Hey, Hwa Young are you ok?”
I shake my head, “No, not really. My brother has been in a coma for the last few years.”
Kai does something surprising and hugs me tightly making me feel warm and safe.
For the first few seconds I was stiff as a board but the feeling that his hug gives me made me relax enough that I was able to close my eyes and hug him back.
I quietly mumble into his chest, “Thank you, Kai.”
