Siren
Kim Taehyung
Taehyung sat straight up confused. With a quick look around he discovered he was in a cave. He saw no entrance or exit out of the cave.
Hearing a splash he looked over at the pool of water. It was dark but he could make out two eyes watching him.
"Mermaid." Whispered Taehyung
A head popped out of the water. Her skin was a grey color, hair as black as night. Dark grey and black scales decorated under her eyes.
Taehyung found himself entrance. She was beautiful. "Thank you for saving me but I need to get back." Taehyung said hoping she understood him.
She reaches a hand out towards him. Her nails sharp like claws, scales covered her ark from waist to elbow. Taehyung could see some scales on the side of her hand.
Taehyung grabs her hand not knowing what else to do. She pulls him in to the water dragging him under. Taehyung tried to pull out of her grip but she was stronger.
Suddenly her lips were on his. Air flowed from her to him filling his lungs. She pulled away and Taehyung made sure to hold his breath. She pulled him through the water.
Taehyung lungs started to burn. He was in need of air. The mermaid stopped. Taehyung thought she was going to kiss him again. But instead she pushed him upwards.
As Taehyung broke the surface he let go of the breath he was holding.
"TAEHYUNG!!" He heard his name being called
He wasn't far from the beach. His bandmates stood there smiling and jumping. Taehyung quickly swam towards the shore.
His bandmates and friends pulled him out, wrapping him in towels.
"How?" Asked Namjoon
"You aren't going to believe me." Said Taehyung
"You fell off the ship, in the middle of a storm. You aren't supposed to be here." Said J-hope
"So try us." Said Suga
Taehyung looked around before dragging them to what he thought was a secluded area.
"A mermaid saved me." He said
"What!?" They yelled
"Shh." Said Taehyung. "I know it sounds crazy."
"Mermaid you say. She wouldn't have dark grey and black scales would she?" Came a voice making them jump
Standing behind them was an old fisherman.
"Her name is Nereida."
"What do you know about her?" Asked Taehyung out of curiosity
The old fisherman smiled "It's a long, sad story."
