Singularity

After me and Kimberly's long vacation, I decided to call Suga's parents out for some tea,so we could talk about the arranged marriage. While on the phone with them, I could tell that they was reconsider the thought of having Suga marrying me. However, I tried to reassure them that this is it and I'm going for it with an open mind. I love him,but if he don't love me then I gave this marriage a try.

[At the Cafe]

''Mrs. Min, I'm very sorry about my recent behavior at the breakfast outing last week.'' I said apologetic

''Jessica, I'm glad you apologized,but if you're trying to persuade me to let you marry Suga...then I won't allow it. We have given you and your family so many chances to reassure us that you could make it work. However, you kept fighting us and rejecting the offer. So, we will have to find another girl for our son to marry. I'm sorry.'' she responded hesitantly

''Mrs. Min, I can't talk about Suga's feelings for me,but my parents is currently upset with me as well. Also, if I don't please them they won't allow me to take over the family business. Furthermore, I've actually become to like your son very dearly now that I've gotten to know him.'' I replied softly

''Jessica, let me ask you this. Do you see our son's marriage as a business opportunity for you?''she asked skeptically

''No, I don't. This marriage isn't about our business, my parents been running this business before I knew your son. Besides, I just met him at the business party last month.'' I stated

''Well...then, we will consider this marriage again,but let me warn you if this doesn't work out then I will find a new girl for him. Also, I will not allow you and your family to attend the wedding to not make things complicated.'' she said seriously

''Thank you! Mrs.Min,I'm very grateful for your reconsideration. You will not regret it and I will definitely try my best.'' I said happily

After getting her consent, I happily hugged her and headed back home in excitement. Unfortunately, My parents didn't know anything about this,so I would eventually have to tell them. However, I needed a little time for myself to celebrate and party. I headed towards my room to call my best friend in the whole entire world Kimberly and share the news that the marriage was back on.

*Calls Kimberly*

''Kimberly, you won't believe what happened today!'' I said excited

''Wow! Jessica, I've never heard you so excited in a long time. What happen?...Spill the tea.'' she said confused

''Mrs.Min have decided to reconsider the marriage between me and Suga.'' I said loudly

''Really!'' she said shocked

''Yep!'' I stated shortly

''Wait, so that means that you're getting officially married to Suga. How did this happen?'' she asked

''Well, I decided to have a talk with her and apologized to her about my disrespectful behavior at the breakfast outing we had. Then, tried to persuade her to change her mind about the marriage,yet she asked me a lot of questions and BANG! it happened.'' I said softly

''So, let me get this straight...you're the one who wanted her to reconsider her thought on letting you get married to her son. I thought you hated Suga,but now it seems that you really like him.'' she replied stunned

''Yep, correct!'' I answered

''Congratulations, but one more thing before I go. Does your parents know about this?'' she asked

''No, my parents don't know anything about this. However, when the time is right...I'll tell them or maybe tonight.'' I said

''Good luck, Jessica!'' she said excited

*Ends call*

I was so happy about the marriage that I couldn't wait to go shopping for a wedding dress and even walk down the isle. It was like a dream come true for me. I've always like Suga since I saw him at the party last month. Even though, he didn't really like me and we had our differences. However, I really hope that we could get along well and do this for our family. All of sudden, their was a loud knock coming from my front door. When I ran to the front door, it was Suga who was knocking and he glanced at me pretty upset.

I didn't know what to think at this very moment,but of course invite him inside. He pushed me up against the wall in anger. Honestly, I didn't know why he was furious, until I thought about it. I came to realize that his mother must've told him about the arrange marriage being official.

''Suga, What is wrong with you all a sudden?'' I asked concerned

''Jessica, stop acting dump in front of me. It makes you look stupid in front of someone like me'' he said upset

''Really, What is wrong with you?'' I asked again this time seriously

''Why would tell my mother to reconsider the marriage between us?'' he asked

''Because, I really liked you after hanging out with you at the hotel with Kimberly and Jimin. After seeing you apologize to me, I thought that you finally felt the same as me and wanted to settle down-with me. So, I called her, we sat down at a cafe and we talked about it seriously this time.'' I said

''Jessica, I was just teasing you and it seems that you really took it seriously. I don't like you like that and I never will.'' he said seriously

''I don't believe it, all those things you said to me was all a bunch of bullshit and it believed it. Well, if that's the case then you better get use to it because in a matter of days you will have to accept me as your wife whether you like me or not.'' I said serious

''Bullshit! I don't care about this wedding. However, I will consider it,but you better be strong for what you're about to witness. My lifestyle is not what you will consider to be glitz and glamour.'' he said upset walking out

After he left, his words made me thing back and realize that both of our lives are not perfect. Also, the fact that he is more wealthier than me. His parents own pretty much everything in Korea as for me, I'm just a peasant to him. He is about to inherit his families fortunes while my parents don't even trust me enough to work at the company. I'm pretty much a joke to him as nobody can't even realize me for me. All I ever do is go shopping and spend money that my parents give me nothing more.

The employee's don't even like me nor respect me at all. So, I wouldn't be surprised if they really didn't give me the company. However, my father can't run it forever because he is going to have to retire. Furthermore, he may probably decide to let my mother run it as she did led a hand it the start of the business. But, the employee's don't like my mother either,so I really don't know how this will work out in the end.

My parents finally arrived home late at night, after a long shift at work. They saw me sitting in the living room all alone with the lights off,which was very abnormal of me to do. My father didn't look to please to see me as I haven't been home since me and Kimberly's vacation. However, my mother on the other hand was worried as I could see the look in her eyes. They both came towards me and sat down across from me in concern.

''I didn't suspect to see you here by yourself as it been a whole week, since we last seen or spoke from you.'' my father said softly

''I'm truly sorry,but this is not the time to speak about that. I've more bigger things to worry about right now.'' I replied softly

''Jessica, what do you mean by that? What happened to you and why is the lights all turned off and you sitting here alone in the dark?'' my mother asked worried

''Well, me and Suga is getting married like you guys wanted. I talked with Mrs.Min about the marriage and apologized for my recent behavior. Then, she had reconsidered my thoughts on us getting married. However, I thought Suga actually liked me after we spent some time together at the hotel together that me and Kimberly was staying at. But, coming to find out he came here upset and he told me it wasn't serious.'' I told them sadly

''I can't believe you would do that!'' my father said stunned

''Well, Jessica. If you really like him, then don't give up on him. Also, please don't get over worked up if the marriage doesn't work out. Sometimes, special things don't last forever,so that's why you shouldn't stress about things.'' my mother said softly

''Thank you,mother for the long talk.'' I thanked her walking up to my bedroom
