True Love Never Dies

Following Your Dreams.

[A Few Months Later]

[MAY]

[Saturday, 3:00pm]

Jana’s POV.
A lot of things has happened in the last couple of months. Caroline had gotten married to Darin who were off on their honeymoon a few weeks after they were married. Bailee and Marcel moved back to LA with their daughter Liona who now resides in Riverside. Bailee sold her art gallery and used that money to buy her family a nice home up in the hills. Since i quit my last job at the Academy whom i worked for a few years now, Bailee had taken my job as the Principal there. Marcel got transferred to Architect Lands in LA where he works closely to Ryan.Payton is taking her job one day at time now that she is 7 months pregnant with Kevin’s baby. For me, I’ve been working on building my new Academy in Melrose, Los Angeles and planning our wedding. We had a date secure and it was going to be a June wedding (next month) when i’m 6 months pregnant. The inside of the school has been done by professionals and furnitures have been put in as well. All we needed were recruiting teachers in the city who can teach and painting the outside of building. With me being 5 months pregnant, it becomes difficult for me to do things for the academy so i recruited the guys and some girls at the congregation to help me. Shaun, Ben, Ryan, John, Alex, Joyce, Joon, Jaelynn, Eugene, Andrew, Skye, Lucas, Sophia, Janey were all there to help out. The 15 of us painted ¾ of the building and took a break.

Eugene’s POV.
Everyone were taking a break from painting the academy. Shaun helped me pass out drinks and snacks for everyone so they could relax. I sat on the curbside and looked at the academy. I’d realized how much Jana had accomplished with opening the academy. As i sat there, i thought about what my future was like going into an HR major and graduating in two weeks. I’m not even sure if i want to work for a big company for other people. So i sat there thinking about the future and Jana came to talk to me.

Jana walks up to Eugene, hands him the can of lemonade, & says, “here Eugene.”

Eugene takes the lemonade & says, “thanks.”

“Are you alright Eugene?” Jana takes a seat next to Eugene & asks.

“No”, Eugene takes a sip of his lemonade & says.

Jana asks looking at Eugene, “whats the matter?”

Eugene says, “as you know, im graduating in a week and i still don't know what i want to do or who i want to be.”

“Ah, this is about your degree”, Jana says.

“My parents always wanted me to go into HR but i’d always had a passion for music. I want to sing and show people who i can do.” Eugene slightly smiles & says.

Jana asks, “if you love it so much then why don't you do it?”

Eugene asks, “what do you mean?”

“The school is almost done and we need dedicated teachers to teach these kids. I want you to take your passion and teach those kids how to sing. Have a class of your own, however you want it, however you like it. Do it your way, not anybody's way.” Jana says.

“What about HR?”, Eugene says.

Jana says, “i’m not telling you what to do with your degree but you should go after the things you love. The jobs still stands if you want it or not. You should follow your dreams Eugene.”

Eugene asks, “how did you know you wanted to become a teacher or principal for the rest of your life?”

“Life is about trial and error. You have to make mistakes in order to succeed. Kids lighten up my day and i’m so lucky to have one of my own in a few months. That is why i chose this profession is because i love it.” Jana explains.

“Thank you Jana”, Eugene looks over at Jana, smiles, & says.

Jana smiles & says, “i'm always here if you need someone to talk to.”

Eugene smiles & says, “i’ll always remember that.”

After taking a small break, we all went back to painting.
