In White Houses

"UNO!" yelled Hobi and the rest of the roommates groaned since he's been winning most of the rounds. It was 9:30 at night and everyone was gathered on the floor playing card games, while I was just observing them from the couch.



Seoyeon looked back at me, "You don't want to play with us Minjoo?" she asked holding the cards up, I kindly shook my head, "No, I'm not good at games." C'mon Minjoo, Namjoon isn't good at games either, in fact he isn't really good at anything besides destroying things and studying." She laughed, "Ha Ha Ha Seoyeon, that was so funny I forgot to laugh." Namjoon rolled his eyes putting his cards down.

I heard Jungkook quietly snorted. I've gotten to know them pretty well over dinner, each of them having a personality of their own. Jin-oppa was in charge of cooking and most of the cleaning, basically, the mother of the house, even though he's very motherly I noticed how he's always on his phone either talking or texting a girl. Seoyeon said he's always bringing different girls home every other day that's why he has a room to himself.

The blonde hair sleepy guy Yoongi always had an expressionless intimidating sleepy look, he was always laying down doing nothing or in his room all day, all I could hear coming out from his room was music, he too had his own room. Namjoon is very intelligent always dropping facts or teaching some English phrases to Jungkook, I can see why Seoyeon really likes him, he was so caring and really attractive with his deep dimples which should be illegal.



Just looking at Hobi you can tell he was a burst of sunshine and full of energy, loud but always making people laugh and putting everyone in a good mood. Jimin and Jungkook were always together they were pretty similar but Jimin seemed really nice and helpful, Jungkook was shy but outgoing to the people he was used to, he was really funny and was always teasing everyone by imitating them, I laughed a few times when he would tease Jimin about his height.

Jiae is a sweetheart, me and her have similar personalities and pretty much had a lot in common minus my lack of fashion, I can say that I'm really lucky to have her as a roomie, she gave me a few posters of my favorite J-rock band 'ONE OKAY ROCK' when she heard me listening to them as I was unpacking my stuff.

Then there was Taehyung, he was actually a mystery to me, he was really quiet and reserved. I can sometimes feel him staring at me, for some unknown reason I feel like he doesn't like me at all. The whole day I got here he hasn't said two words to me. "don't worry Taehyung is always like that especially to people he doesn't know." Jin told me earlier.
"Ooooohhh, guys, let's play spin the bottle!" Jiae lit up. "Aw man, I'm not drunk enough for that!" Jimin said chugging his beer. My eyes grew wide, "wait, what?!" "Spin the bottle, with a twist of truth or dare," Seoyeon said putting her arms around me. Was that supposed to make me any feel better?

"yeah, you spin the bottle, choose truth or dare, if you don't do the dare then you have to kiss one of us." Hobi said cracking open a beer. I gulped.
"She doesn't have to play, I mean she just got here she doesn't really know any of us." Taehyung mumbled looking at his hand with a stern face. Whoa, it was like he read my mind in fact, it was my first time hearing him actually speaking, his voice was so deep. Everyone turned to look at me for my answer, great, I didn't want them to think I wasn't any fun. I felt the blood rushing to my face, "No no, I'm down I guess."

"Hell yeah!" Jimin jumped up, "I'm doing all dares, I'm the champ!" I looked over at Taehyung and he was looking at me with a concerned face and I gave him a nervous reassurance look.
"Want a beer noona?" Jungkook asked, my eyes widen in surprise to what he just called me. "Uh, yeah sure." "whoooo yeah Minjoo" Seoyeon cheered. I wasn't a big drinker, I actually hated drinking. I cracked open my beer and took a sip, I almost gagged, I don't know how any of them can enjoy this bitter "juice".

Namjoon put an empty beer bottle in the middle of our circle, "okay who's gonna go first?" Everyone raised their hands except Taehyung and me, shit. "It's only fair for the new roomie to go first." Jiae suggested. Why thank you Jiae I sarcastically said to myself. "I can go if you want me to," Taehyung glanced over at me, I guess he feels guilty I have to endure his roommates' foolishness.



I smiled, "No I got this." I placed my hand on the bottle and spun it, luckily it landed on Seoyeon, her face brightened, "Truth or dare?" "Truth!" I blurted out, wow I sounded like a scared little chicken. Seoyeon put her hand on her chin thinking, "Hmmm," she was thinking for a minute, "oh," what is she going to ask me? "okay, tell us about your first kiss." she grinned.

I felt everyone's eyes on me again, I want to disappear because it's going to be embarrassing to tell these people who I've just met that...I never kissed anyone before. I took a deep sigh, everyone was still looking me, I bit my lip, "well," I started, "It's kind of a funny story, I uh, I kinda, never, kissed anyone...before." I said looking down at my legs, I could feel my face getting red.

Everyone gasped, raising their eyebrows, everyone except Taehyung who was staring down at the floor it looks like he was in deep thought. "You, you never kissed anyone?" Seoyeon asked with her eyes wide. I shook my head, the room got quiet, god this is so embarrassing! Jin cleared his throat "Well, my turn!" he spun the bottle, I exhaled.

I watched everyone take turns spinning the bottle, everyone chose dare and had to do something so silly, everyone seemed to be having a really good time. Everyone was dying of laughter when Jiae and Jimin came back from the other room because one of their dares was to switch clothes with someone of the opposite sex. Jiae sat back down in Jimin's long jersey that swallowed her and Jimin looking so ridiculous in her tight tank top, he had a nice toned figure.

"okay, last round it's back to Minjoo" Namjoon said, I felt like a chump for being the only one choosing truth, I sigh and spun the bottle...it landed on Taehyung, I looked up at him and he was staring at me, his dark brown eyes borrowing mine.
I felt nervous, "Truth or dare?" he asked, c'mon Minjoo don't be a chicken choose dare, I closed my eyes and said, "dare." Everyone "ooo'd" me, and Taehyung was still staring into my soul, what is he going to make me do?

Everyone got quite waiting for Taehyung's dare, his eyes still on me. "I dare you..." what, what the hell is it?



"I dare you to...I dare you to kiss me."

Everyone's eyes shot at Taehyung, all of our eyes widen, some gasping. Wait, what did I just hear, Taehyung daring me to kiss him?! Wait, even if I refuse...I still have to kiss him!! Is that allowed in this game??

I sucked my lips in, my eyes bewildered. I hear Yoongi whispered, "whoa" I really have to do this. I felt my body muster up the courage to get up, am I really going to do this? My legs slightly trembling, I reached over to where he was sitting, I felt everyone gazing at us.
My body growing hot, I kneeled in front of him, he seemed perfectly calm with his arms lazily wrapped around his knees, his eyes looking into mines. I mean the guy is far from bad looking but my heart was racing to the thought of kissing a really attractive guy, "uh..here I go?"

I said pathetically. My body froze, I don't think I could do this, let alone making me make the first move. My lips quivered, my mind racing thinking about everything, what would my dad think, oh my god, my first night moving in and I'm already hooking up with someone!
Then all of a sudden Taehyung placed his hand on my chin propping my head slightly up and his lips slowly coming towards mine. They touched! His lips pressed hard on mine, oh my god am I doing this right?!

The kiss felt like it was going on for eternity. Oh my god his lips are so soft! His slowly pulled back, I wonder if he can hear my heart beating out of my chest? I stared at him, I didn't know what to say.

He gave me a smirk,

"woooow." I heard Jungkook, I turned to look at them and their mouths were agape.
I blushed, oh my god, I just had my first kiss, on my first night here, with Taehyung! "TAEHYUNG-AH I WON'T FORGIVE YOU!" Jin yelled throwing a pillow at him.
