Min Yoongi, Prince of the Gods

Min Yoongi

There is a legend of a Korean god, son of the king of gods. He was ruthless and cold hearted. He believed that humans were pointless and stupid. So, against his father’s wishes he sent demons from the underworld to kill humans, feasting on their souls. When the gods found out he was cast down to earth to live as a demi-god, a half mortal. Only when he finds love in his heart can he live among the gods once more.

On Earth the now demi-god became a living god in Korea. Humans worshiped him at first till they too saw the darkness in his heart. Then he was a monster, a demon. The gods intervened once more sealing him away in a small statue of a rooster. He begged his mother to tell the gods to leave him alone but she refused. She took pity on her son and remembered how he used to be, how his heart was pure so she told him only a human who can steal his heart can free him from his prison.

His name was Yoongi .

Or at least that’s what this scroll said. I rolled my eyes putting it carefully into my bag. My employer wanted both the scroll and the rooster statue. A bloody chicken! I picked it up. It fit my hand.

“You know for a prison of a god I would think it would be a bit bigger.” I whispered to myself putting the statue in my bag. “And something scarier like a tiger not a bloody chicken.”

I sneak back out of the building heading down town. I walked into a small, old shop full of random nick knacks.

"Kat!" said a voice coming from the back

A girl around my age came through a wall of beads. her strawberry blonde hair was up and she was dressed as a gypsy.

I pulled out the chicken and scroll. "Your chicken."

"I just needed the scroll." she said taking the scroll and handing me a stack of money

"What about the chicken?" I asked

"Rooster." she said. "Keep it."

"Keep it?' I said. "why would i want to keep it."

"You never know." She said grinning. "Maybe that rooster will turn into a handsome god!'

"Haha." I said taking the chicken, walking out.
