Just A Number

“I think I found the perfect apartment!” Minyong squealed sipping her ice coffee. “Oh…nice,” I faked smiled. Since Minyong and Namjoon officially started dating over a month ago they decided it would be best to get a place of their own, especially to make room for the baby. We broke the lease to our apartment right after Jungkook’s birthday concert since Jungkook recommended we both should just live with them since it would be safer after getting so much attention from the media.

I was in my disguise in a small café not too far from the apartment with Min and Jungkook’s bodyguards, so far no one recognizes me. After Jungkook told the whole world about me and our relationship last month my life has changed even more.





For the good and bad, good as in it’s pretty neat to actually have fans who stans Jungkook and I, or what they call it, “Yun-Kook” never thought that would actually happen, and then the bad as in no privacy to do the things I use to love doing which was going out by myself without being recognized or having so many bodyguards with me. So far, I’ve only been going out every now and then, I have to lay low from the media since the only thing we’re hiding is the pregnancy. Going out and wearing bagging shirts to cover my 5-month growing belly…it’s bound to being found out.

“it’s going to be weird not living with you Yuna,” “I know, you’ve been with me through thick and thin for so long.” I sigh looking out the café window, “Were you…ever disappointed that I’ve gotten myself and you into this, the media and also the surprise pregnancy? Be honest.” Minyong raised her eyebrows and then looked down at her hands and sigh, “I mean it was weird with your relationship being found out, you being kind of famous and then going to work acting like none of it happened, and then you get pregnant all fast and what not…Yuna I don’t think I was ever disappointed in your decisions, to be honest, you’ve seemed much happier with Jungkook, you’ve seemed happier now than I ever seen you in years. And that’s all I ever wanted from you, I always joke around and stuff with you to brighten you up but I know I couldn’t do it 100%, so I’m glad Jungkook came into your life.” She smiled at me as I tried to discreetly wipe away tears that were starting to form. "Stop crying you big baby," she rolls her eyes and laughs making me laugh.

At the corner of my eye, I saw someone familiar entering the café...oh my god it was Seokjin, I haven’t seen him since the day I fainted in his apartment. As he was walking in to get a table he spotted me but passed by our table. Oh yeah, it’s probably because I’m in disguise he most likely doesn’t recognize me. “What is it Yuna?” Minyong asked, “You know that handsome guy?” “Uh, yeah, that’s Seokjin, my model friend I was telling you about, the guy’s apartment I fainted in months ago,” “Oh shit that’s him???? Mr. Worldwide handsome????!” “Shhhh, and yes!” “Should I call him over here?? I really want to meet him!”



Before I could answer another guy entered the café and walk directly to Seokjin’s table to join him. I guess that’s his friend or something, Seokjin smiled putting his hand out and the guy gently grabbed it rubbing the top of his hand with his thumb looking into his eyes…could it be..? “Yuna…? I thought Seokjin…” “I…don’t know…anything….” I answered still having eyes on Seokjin and that mysterious guy he was being a little friendly to. Just then Seokjin saw me looking at him, he squinted and his eyebrows raised as he finally recognizes me, “Yuna?” he mouthed, I smiled and waved. He got up from his seat and said something to the guy and walked over to our table.

One of Jungkook’s bodyguards eyes him sipping his coffee and Minyong had to tell him Seokjin is a friend. “Jin, hey!” “Yuna, oh my god, it’s been forever,” he laughs, “It has been, right? How is everything?” “Everything is fine, I was in New York City for some time and now I’m here for a bit before I leave for Milan again.” “Oh wow, you’re busy as usual,” he nods and shifts his eyes over to Minyong, “Oh um, Seokjin this is my best friend Minyong,” “Ah, nice to meet you, heard so much about you,” “Likewise,” Minyong smiled shaking Seokjin’s hand.



“So…Jin who’s your friend you’re with?” I asked him looking back at the guy who was sitting watching us,



“Oh, that’s Taehyung,” Seokjin looks back at him and motions him to come over, he gets up and walks to our table. “Hello,” the guys smile, he’s really handsome, he and Jin could be a worldwide handsome duo. “I’m Kim Taehyung,” “Hi Taehyung, I’m Yuna and this is my friend Minyong.” I held out my hand, he shook my hand, “Ah Yuna, I heard so much about you from Jin,” Seokjin smiles at me, “He’s my boyfriend Yuna,” my eyes grew wide with surprise, “Oh…OH,” “yeah, he was the person I was telling you about when I last saw you.”



That’s right he was telling me about a person he was really liking, I just didn’t know it would be a guy, not that It’s a problem, they’re fucking cute for each other. I ship them already!! “I met him on one of the Gucci photoshoots I was shooting for, he’s also a model from here.”



“pretty obvious since you’re both are handsome as fuck” Minyong chimed in, they both laughed. The 2 joined us and we spent most of the afternoon catching up and getting to know Taehyung, so far he seem’s really cool and is hilarious. Jin really does seem happy.
