Just A Number

I was on the couch reading a book, finally having the day off. I was in a good mood since I get to see Jungkook tonight, it’s been awhile since we actually hanged out, he planned our activities for tonight and I’m so excited.

The apartment door opened and Minyong came walking in with shopping bags, smiling in a daze. “Well, where have you been missy?” I laughed at her, “oh, nowhere, just a little shopping,” she sighs still smiling. “Oh yeah? Who were you with, c’mon spill.” She walks in throwing the bags on the couch and started dancing around the room, “oh my god you crazy woman, tell me!” I threw a pillow at her, it hits her on the back and she just laughs, “I was with Namjoon.”

“Namjoon?!!?!?!?” “Yeah!” she sighs plopping right next to me, “He’s so…great.” She sighs, “Oh wow, crushing on Namjoon eh?” I grinned poking her cheeks, “He’s so awesome, we have so much in common, and he’s so smart, so smooth, so….ugh, he’s everything!” “When did you two start being all close?” “When we planned your whole mini vacation last month, thanks to Jungkook I met a guy I think I like.”

This was big news to me because Minyong really hasn’t dated since her first year in college, she pretty much dumped the guy to focus on her studies and haven't’ been interested in guys since. It was bad enough I was dating Yoongi and she hated his guts. “Good, I’m happy for you Min,” I smiled getting up to get some water, for some reason today, I was beyond exhausted. I felt so sleepy and my body felt heavy, I don’t why, I pretty much got the right amount of sleep last night, maybe work is stressing me out.

“are going out with Jungkook tonight?” Minyong asked from the living room, “Yeah I am,” I replied opening up the fridge, “Cool, maybe we can do like a double date soon,” she giggles, as soon as I reach down for the pitcher of water in the fridge I felt really weird, as in sick, am I going to puke? I slapped my hand on my mouth and quickly ran to the bathroom, I opened the toilet seat to vomit but nothing was coming out, it was torture as I was gagging nothing!

“Yuna are you okay??” Minyong enters the doorway worried, I was leaning on the toilet giving her a thumbs up, “Yeah, I probably have a bug or something. For some reason, I’m just…so tired, maybe I caught something from the Philippines, maybe the food I ate.” I closed my eyes trying to concentrate on not trying to dry heave again, but it came back, I was gagging out nothing! Minyong sat beside me rubbing my back, her eyes weren't focused on anything, it was like she was lost in thought.

“Yuna…” she quietly says my name, I look up at her, her eyes slowly turns to me looking all worried, “What?” I asked really confused,

"When…when was the last time you had your period?”
