Just A Number

I watched on the side as the models were posing for their shoot. It was a perfume ad they were shooting for. I carefully checked my phone to see if I had any messages from Jungkook, he was still busy with his work that I only got to talk to him twice since we got back from the Philippines, I really miss him.

“Okay we’re going to take a 10-minute break!” the photographer called out, I quickly put my phone away and ran up to one of the models to reapply some lip gloss, “You look great out there,” I say applying the gloss to her lips. “Mmhm,” she replies as if she was really uninterested to talk to me, what a bitch, I take what I said back! As soon as I was done her face brightens as she looks past me, “My girl!!” she squeals, I look back to see who she was referring to and my heart dropped.



“Bestie!!” Aimee called out, she ran over to give the model a slight hug, “I brought you some food!” “Oh my god, you’re such a lifesaver, I’m like so starving here, I can’t wait to leave!” I quickly put the top back on the lip gloss tube and tried my best not to be noticeable, as soon as I was about to turn away the model called out to me, “Um, I need some powder on my nose don’t ya think?” Ugh, this bitch, I turned around and Aimee spots me, grinning.

“Oh, Yuna, didn’t think you’d be here.” The model looks back at Aimee, “You know her?” “Yeah, she’s…just an acquaintance.” She winks at me, kill me now. “Okay let’s get started again so we can get out of here!” the photographer yelled, I quickly walked off set to go hide and avoid Aimee but she caught me grabbing my arm, “Let’s go talk somewhere private.”

She pulls me into an empty dressing room closing the door behind her, “You didn’t do what I asked did you?” her tone of voice changed. I just stared at her like the crazy woman she is, “Jungkook went to the Philippines the other week and I doubt he went by himself,” “Oh so you’re keeping tabs on him?”



She just rolls her eyes at me crossing her arms, “Yes I went with him to the Philippines, and NO I’m not going to break up with him, there are so many guys out there that you can get so go target someone else and leave him and I alone,” I said pushing past her to the door, “You’re going to regret that!” she calls out to me,

“Yeah well I regret a lot of things and that’s meeting a bitch like you.”
