Chapter 2
After a super long flight I finally arrive in South-Korea. It’s freeeeezing, omg. After I got my bags back I just stand in the central hall and smile while looking around me. “I’m finally here”, I think to myself. All of a sudden I realize that the cabdriver must be waiting for me. I walk to the spot where we planned to meet. As I get closer to the spot I can see someone standing there with a board with my name on it.
“Annyeounghasseyo” I say while I bow, “Tanime imnida”
“Annyeounghasseyo, welcome to South-Korea” he answers.
“Kamsahamnida” I answer.
“Are you ready to leave? He asks. “Yes!”
I’m so happy that I don’t need to figure out for myself how to get to my house. Ever since I knew I wanted to study in Korea I started to save up some money. I wanted to live here while feeling comfortable. Instead of a dorm I found a nice apartment I could live in. So I would have no restrictions if I would come home late.
After arriving I thank and pay the cabdriver and go inside. “Woah” I say to myself after seeing this:
“This is perfect!” Next I walk to the bedroom. My jaw drops after seeing this:
“Dayumnn..” I quickly jump on the bed. While letting out a big sigh I’m thinking about tomorrow. Tomorrow is my first day at the University. I hope I will fit in.. While thinking about it I fall asleep.
The next morning
I open my eyes and seem to have forgotten for a moment where I am. All of a sudden I realize. “Pfoeh..” I lay down again. Wait!” I have to go to school! I grab my phone to look at the time. Pfeww, it’s only 6AM. I get up and start to pick my outfit for school. After I got a good shower I put on my clothes and start to eat a banana. “Hmm, what should I do..?” I say out loud. I look around and decide to take my laptop out of my bag. “Let’s see what kind of interesting things there are in the neighborhood”. While browsing through google maps I don’t really see that much interesting things. Besides a lot of restaurant I also see a McDonald’s. Oh, and there’s a Starbucks. I could really go for a cappuccino right now. I decide to go to Starbucks.
After I got my cappuccino I realized that I forgot how I came here. I decide to follow my instinct. After ten minutes I see a big building. I look up to see what company owns it. “Big Hit Entertainment” I say out loud, “Hmm..” suddenly my eyes widened. My heart started beating faster. Don’t tell me this is Big Hit Entertainments home base. Out of disbelief I turn around. BTS is in Big Hit. Amanda really likes BTS a lot! Oh, I can’t wait until she hears this. She’s going to be so pumped up!
“Omg,” I say all of a sudden, “Look at me being all happy.. I can’t even find my house.” I look at the building across the street. “No way..” I say. I cross over to prove my right. Yup.. It’s the back of my apartment building.
I quickly get inside. I got so excited I called Amanda. “Girll, you never believe what just ha-”
“Are you serious?! Why are you calling me so late? You should’ve called when you arrived. It’s 11PM right now.”
“I’m sorry I fell asleep. But Amanda listen to me. Do you know what I live next to?”
“No, of course not, silly”
“Oh yeah, sorry.. I live next to Big Hit Entertainment!
- Silence –
“Are you serious right now?”
“Yes, deadly”
“OMGGGGGGG. Did you see BTS??
“No, I did not. I was searching for my house so I didn’t have time to look around”
“Ah, shame. When you come back, can you bring Kookie for me please?
“Haha, what are you saying” While saying this my eyes fell on the clock on my wall. “Sheez, look at the time. I’ve got to let you go. Time for school! Byee~”
