Never Forget the Past

The members of BTS walked along the streets of Seoul, enjoying their day off. They see this strange, old store that they are sure they have never seen before. All seven were drawn to it, walking in before they had a second thought. Inside the store was old things from older times around the world. At the counter was an older lady, she smiled when she saw them.

“Good day boys.” She said with a toothy grin a few of her teeth missing

“Good day, Ma’am” Said their Leader Namjoon

“You boys seem special.” She said come around, grabbing something along the way. “Like you can right the wrongs of the past.”

“The wrongs of the past?” asked Taehyung

“Yes. Take this statue as a gift.” She said placing a small statue of a nine-tailed fox in his hands

“Thank you.” Said all seven with a bow

“Do you mind do one favor for this old woman?” She asked

“Of course.” Said Jin

“There is a story with that statue. A story forgotten over time. A story of love and betrayal.” She said

“What happened?” asked Jungkook

“First you must know who.” She said with a grin. “He was crown prince of this country, 1500
years ago. She was a pirate who ruled the seven seas. They met when she docks here to escape the royal navy. It was love at first sight for the prince.”

“Just for the prince?” asked Heoseok

“Yes. He was drawn to her milky white skin, piercing blue eyes who held the cruel sea with in them and her untouchable aura. At first the pirate didn’t see the prince as a lover but as tool to stay hidden but his curiosity and never-ending smile melt the ice around her heart. His six guards protected her and her crew from the officials wanting to turn her over.” Said the older lady smile fading. “But the sea called out to the pirate. She told the prince she would return and left to set sail but she never made it to her ship. Her crew stuck with the code leaving her to whatever her fate was.”

“Her crew left her?” gasped Taehyung

“And the prince thought she left?” asked Namjoon

“Where was she?” asked Yoongi

“She was captured and thrown into the farthest cell of the dungeon below the palace. Where she was forgotten. She was on the verge of death she wished only to see her prince one last time, when a woman appeared, glowing with a powerful light. The woman was a goddess who saw their powerful love and told a nine-tailed fox to save the pirate. The fox did transforming the pirate into what we would call a werefox.” She said. “The goddess brought the pirate to the forest but something had gone wrong. The pirate remembered nothing, not even her own name. The goddess, confused went looking for the prince who was with another woman, his soon to be wife, he had forgotten about his pirate. Everyone had forgotten about the pirate queen, even her own crew. But while the goddess was trying to find a solution the pirate saw the prince feeling the love strike back to life. She went to him and him to her.”

“So, he remembered?” asked Jin

“No. Him and his guards knew she was a nine-tailed fox and tricked her by making her think the prince to was in love with her and the key to her memories. They put a necklace on her sealing her powers and to turn her into her true form but when she didn’t turn into a fox they called her a demon, attacking her. Finally, they sealed her into a small nine-tailed fox statue.” She said. “Now she waits.”

“For someone to right the wrongs of the past.” Said Namjoon

The old lady smiled. “Good day boys.”
