He's My Only One

Once I've changed in the girls locker room, I seemingly walked confidently into the gym. I noticed how the other students were already occupied with their sports, and I took this as my chance to look around to observe the large room a little better.
Around 50 of the kids in the gym seem to be playing different sports all around the room, laughing and yelling. I sigh in relief to see that none of them have noticed my presence yet. But then again, it’s kind of sad no one noticed me yet...

Except for one of them, of course. Well I guess part of my wish came true...

I feel a poke on my shoulder and I turned around to see a girl who looked to be about my age and about the same height, smiling at me with her eyes sparkling with happiness.

Why is it that so far every person that has wanted to talk to me been so joyous? It's beginning to creep me out…

"Uh, hello? Do you need something from me?" I ask her, but my tone seemed to come off a bit rude. I mentally facepalmed and curseed myself for being so ill-mannered to the girl that was in front of me.

Dammit, this is why I can never have friends with me.

"Oh... Well, umm, hi! My name's Eun hoi, but you can call me Eunnie! So you’re new to the school right? I was the girl in your girl in your class remember?" She asked, still smiling with her teeth visibly showing. Obviously the corners of her mouth aren't turned upwards so I can practically hear the fake cheerful voice in it.

"Nice fake smile you got there,” I say smirking at the smile she's putting on.

She sighs annoyedly and drops her act of kindness. The corners of her mouth turn downwards into a frown as she suddenly starts spamming words, "Look here miss 'I'm better than all of you', can't you at least try to be nice to others? If you wouldn't mind, drop the act or you're going to end up with no one by your side. Do you think people are going to approach you if you keep acting like this? No, they won't. So AT LEAST when someone says 'hi' to you, say 'hi' back or something. Try to be polite. So stop with the attitude and actually have some humanity you-" she's cut off mid sentence when a boy puts his hand over her mouth from behind. My eyes scanned up the boys arm and they finally came upon a pair of soft brown eyes with fluffy hair. He shares a smile towards me, making me smile back.

"Hey, sorry about that. This one’s got a temper so if you piss her off, you're going to get pissed on as well", the boy says chuckling a little bit at his own joke. The girl known as Eun hoi removed the hand from her mouth as she turns her head around to give the boy behind her a pout.

"Hoseok!!! Can't you tell she was being a total annoying b-" she's cut off again by the boy who was Hoseok, who was covering her mouth once again with the palm of his hand tightly pressed over her lips.

"Now Eunnie, you know you can't use naughty words around school here,” he starts to laugh again as she finally gave up on struggling. His laughs rang like bells as she huffs in annoyance, pouting behind his tanned hands once again.

"Pretty and nice girls like you don't cuss in front of others, remember? Are you going to be quiet and not talk to the girl? Or are you going to talk and be nice-"

"Okay, okay, I'll shut up", she said once she removed Hoseok’s hand from her face. She sighs once again and explains, "I'm sorry for saying anything rude to you, it's just that I have a low temper and pretty much anything can piss me off. I hope I didn't offend you." In response to Eun Hoi’s words, Hoseok ruffles Eun Hoi’s hair and replied, "wow you're such a good girl Eunnie! Want a treat for lunch?" With those words, she rolls her eyes and lightly punches Hoseok in the arm as he continues to tease her from behind.

“Hobbie!” she whined and he continued to laugh with her. I smirked and continue to watch them both bicker like children.

They're actually... pretty amusing.

"Anyway, speaking of which, did you want to join Eunnie and I for lunch?" Hoseok asks as he lightly flicks Eunnie on the forehead for laughing matters. She gave him a glare and he only smiles in response to her angered look.

They look like REALLY good friends…

"Uh s-sure", I say a little too quietly and I internally curse myself again for stuttering. This always happens when I'm nervous and I hate it when it happens.

"Pfft.." Eunnie begins to laugh and I looked over at Hoseok to see his cheeks puffed out, trying his best to hold in his laughter.

"Awwww you stuttered!! That's so cute,” he finally laughs as he ruffles my hair roughly.

"Hey, quit it!! It's not funny! I just stutter when I'm nervous!" I tell them as I feel my cheek beginning to heat profoundly.

Sadly, they ignored my words and continue to laugh without any remorse. Hoseok started coughing from laughing too hard and Eunnie was wiping a stray tear from her cheek as they both put their arms around my shoulders.

"Yep, I can already tell we will be close friends", Hoseok sighs in contentment. I glance over to see Eun Hoi’s lips forming a smirk and I groaned to myself internally.

Hey. To that guy up in the sky, are you listening?

Yea well... what the hell have I gotten myself into?
