"Yah, Soobin!" I heard my friends say as I was too busy staring at the sky to know what was happening
"Huh?" I replied back to them
"When will you ever stop looking at the sky? Youre gonna get blind one of these days." My best friend, Rose said handing me a water bottle.
"I dont think I ever will, its just so beautiful and mesmerizing." They looked at me very weirdly
"Um okay.." my other best friend, Mark said
"Mark when do you have to go back?" I asked him, Mark is apart of SM's boy group NCT, hes in all units so ill just leave it at NCT.
And now youre probably wondering how you became friends with mark, simple, youre an upperclassmen, that is now in college, and you had to tutor Mark for all the days he missed, youre smart but not the top student. SM offered to pay you for helping Mark but you didnt want them to pay you. Instead they let you be friends with Mark and if he was free then he could hang out with you. Ever since then you and Mark have been best friends.
"Well actually, you guys are going with me, you get to finally meet the other members.." Both mine and Rose's mouths dropped to the floor
"Shut up, youre lying." Rose said
"I am not, actually, but we have to leave now if you want to meet all of them." We got up so fast Mark didnt know what to do
When we got to their dorm you could tell that a bunch of guys lived there, the air smelt like guy, but it didnt smell, it smelt good. Its good to know theyre all taking care of themselves and putting on cologne.
"GUYS! Living room please!" At that all 15 of them showed up in the living room
"Wow..theres so many.." Rose whispered in my ear
"Well guys these are my best friends outside of SM, this here is the lovely, not really Rose, and my tutor, Soobin! Please dont scare them, act normal around them, they are fans but please dont act like an idol, be yourself. Doyoung hyung...please introduce yourself last..thanks.." Mark said sounding very mature, the boys got into a long straight line, and they greeted us one by one.
"Ah, sorry my hands sweating..let me just.." said Ten as he wiped his hand on his pants before shaking my hand, I thought it was really cute," Hi I'm Ten, from NCT U." Ten said holding out his hand.
"Hi Ten, I'm Soobin! Its nice to meet you." I shook his hand back, he was really smiley, I didn't know if I liked that or not, but his smile was perfect, his teeth were straight, super clean and white, okay I guess you can say I really liked his smile.
We all sat in the living room and the guys started asking us questions about our lives, which I really enjoyed getting to know the real them.
"So Soobin what are you going to college for?" Ten asked
"Oh, I'm going to major in art!" I excitingly replied back to him
"Ohh cool! Which university?" Jaehyun asked
"Seoul National University."
Right after I replied back to Jaehyun my phone started going off like crazy, it was my group chat with my dance members, I'm in a street dance crew of five girls, which only Mark and Rose know about, I didn't want them telling anyone since every performance people have been trying to find us. After performances we leave right away so people don't follow us, even if we win, our assistant always stays to collect our trophies. I cant say myself that were popular but we've heard a lot of people have been trying to find us. I especially didn't want Mark to tell the guys since a lot of the guys love dancing.
Kyla : When should we practice?
Sam : Yeah we have a competition this weekend
Soobin : We can meet in 15?
Yura : Okay, ill grab water bottles
Ryan : Ill bring snacks
"Uh Mark can I talk to you privately?"
"Yeah, lets go over here." He led me to a room, " Is everything okay?"
"Oh yeah! I just have to go..you know.."
It took him a while to get what I was trying to say but he eventually understood," Right, right, oh yeah go on, we'll meet up with you later?"
"Yeah ill let you know when I'm done."
I left without saying anything, which I felt really bad for doing but Mark said hed make something up, I got to our dance studio and the other girls were already there.
"Youre here! Lets begin." Kyla said, Kyla is our leader. Shes not the oldest but not the youngest, and we like to call her Ky.
"Alrighty." I said.
The music was already chosen a while ago since we knew about the competition a few months back. We went over the dance for a few hours until we perfected it. When we finished it was already 10 pm.
"Good job girls! See you Saturday!" I said to them as we parted ways
As I was walking to my apartment I heard someone yelling my name, I turn around and saw Rose running towards me.
"Whats wrong?"
She gave me a finger telling me to wait for her to catch her breath, "Nothing I just didn't want to be in the dorm with all those guys by myself so I waited outside waiting for you to finish practicing."
"What?! Why didn't you just come in?"
"Well you guys were all focused and I didn't want to distract any of you, I know this competition is a big one too."
"Well then how long were you waiting?"
It took her a while to answer but I could see from the corners of my eyes she was counting her fingers," Uh about 2 1/2 hours, I stayed at the dorm for an hour talking to the guys, OH by the way, Ten kept bringing you up," I stopped walking after Rose told me that Ten kept bringing me up.
"What do you mean?" I continued walking
"Not in a bad way of course, hes the sweetest, but he kept asking where you went and that you were really pretty."
"HAHAHA ME PRETTY?! Pshhh," I felt my cheeks turning red
"Hm..youre blushing, this is new. I should write this down "The day Soobin blushed" haha I'm kidding.." Rose pulled out her phone and started typing
"Just kidding my ass, lets hurry back to our apartment." Rose and I lived together, although she is still pretty young to be living with me, her parents allowed her to live with me since we've known each other for a long time and our families are super close.
We stopped to get ice cream while we were walking home, it was silent but we enjoyed the peace. When we got to the apartment our door was open.
"You didn't close the door?" I asked Rose
"No I did, I left before you did," she said and we both looked at each other scared to death
"But I closed and locked the door behind me.."
We didn't know what to do or who to call, our parents didn't live in Seoul with us, they lived two hours out, the only person we knew who to tell was Mark and that's exactly what we did
*ON PHONE*
SOOBIN : Mark I think someone broke into our apartment
MARK : WHAT?! Are you two okay? Should I come?
ROSE : Please do, we don't know what to do, bring some of the guys just in case something happens
MARK : Okay I will but don't go inside and call the cops okay?
SOOBIN : Okay, please hurry
MARK : I will just don't go anywhere
MARK POV
"GUYS! I just got off the phone with Soobin and Rose and they think that their apartment was broken into and they want us to go to them so can some of you come?"
Taeyong looked at all the guys before telling them whos going and whos staying," Uh Johnny, Ten, Jaehyun and Yuta come with us, the rest of you please stay, we will contact you when we get there okay?"
"Okay," they said in sync
We rushed to their apartment, it was only a few blocks away from our but since we were in a rush it seemed like their apartment was so far away. After running for a while we finally arrived at their apartment, we saw cop cars out there so now we knew that they were safe. We ran up the four flights of stairs and ran down the hall, surprisingly I wasn't leading the way, Ten was, all I did was tell him where to go. We saw the girls sitting outside their apartment.
"Are you okay?" I heard Ten ask the girls
"Yeah we are.." Rose sadly responded back
"What happened?" Johnny asked
"We don't know for sure, we don't even know why this happened to us, and ONLY us, no one else's apartment got broken into." Soobin sounded very angry, which is very understandable
A cop came up to us after asking the neighbors questions, "Well ladies it seems like there was at lease one person at home and whoever broke into your apartment was afraid of the people inside. Your neighbor said she heard several knocks on the doors. They mustve knocked on your door and when no one answered they knew no one was home."
"Thank you sir for the information." Soobin said looking down at the floor
"Hey are you okay?" I patted her back
"I mean I guess, we had nothing and now we really have nothing, they took basically everything but my books and notebooks for school."
"They left our clothes but that's not gonna get us anywhere. I don't want to be here.." Rose said looking at the floor as well
I looked at Taeyong who was already on the phone, "Their apartment got broken into and they don't feel safe, they just got everything taken away from them."
"Manager?" I mouthed to him and he nodded
"Call Lee Soo Man." I said
"Ill see you in a bit." Taeyong hung up, "Why Lee Soo Man?"
"Because he will allow them to stay with us, remember Soobin took care of me, he also allowed her to come over whenever, staying in the extra room wont do any harm."
"Okay.." Taeyong said hesitantly
"Ah Hello, um so Soobin, do you remember her? Yeah well her apartment just got broken into and her and Rose don't feel safe, is it okay if they stay with us and sleep in the extra room?"
Taeyong made a weird face while asking for permission but soon enough he started to look relieved and smiled, "Thank you sir."
"Well, lets go pack up your clothes and head to the dorm." Taeyong said to them
SOOBIN POV
While Taeyong was on the phone Ten and Jaehyun were helping Rose and I pack up our clothes, I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder, "Its gonna be okay, I'm here to protect you now," I look behind me and see Ten and Johnny standing behind me, Ten clears his throat, "I mean were here to protect you now.." Johnny shakes his head and walks over to Jaehyun.
Ten sits down right next to me and sits there in silence, "Are you sure its okay if we stay with you guys? I don't want us to be a burden to you all.." I murmur
"Yeah! Its fine, we have a spare room you can stay in."
"Thank you guys, really..I don't know what we would do if we didn't know Mark or meet you guys today."
We finished packing and headed towards their dorm hoping no one would see them or us, luckily there wasn't a lot of people. When we got to the dorm all of the other members looked relieve.
"Um you told me youd call when you get there!" Doyoung yelled at Taeyong
"Shh, its late, and sorry but a lot was happening." Taeyong snapped back
"Well I'm glad you two are okay, let me show you to the room," Taeil said leading the way.
We walked past all of the members room and our room was the last room at the end of the hall, "We only have one bed, is that okay?"
"Yeah we can share." Rose said
"Well then we will leave you two to settle down, are you hungry?"
"Um yeah but we can pay for ourselves." I said before he went and paid for us
"Don't be silly you goof, you two are our guest." Mark said popping his head in
"Are you sure?" Rose asked
"Of course. Well go order some fried chicken and noodles." Taeil said closing the door on his way out
We unpacked and put our clothes in the dresser, "I cant believe that that happened, we had nothing valuable." Rose said
"Its okay, brighter days are coming," I positively said trying to make her happy, in a way.
The door opened making both of us look, "Oh, did I interrupt something?"
"Ah no, we were just talking." I said back to the familiar face
"I wasn't here earlier to introduce myself, but I'm Hansol," he reached out his arm and shook both of our hands
"Hi Hansol, I'm Soobin,"
"And I'm Rose, nice to meet you!" Rose said giving him one of her best smiles
"I heard what happened, I hope we don't make things worse, there are a lot of us guys here and I hope we don't get too annoying, ill make sure they clean up a bit too."
"Haha, its okay! Thanks for making us laugh though." Rose said
"Well I'm gonna go before they think I'm hogging you two, come out soon though!" Hansol said smiling while closing the door
"Wow he was cute." Rose said
"Wow your ears are as red as a tomato, you've never seen him before?" She shook her head," Hes still a trainee, but hes good enough to debut, but I don't know why he hasn't, I'm sure Lee Soo Man has a reason."
"Ahh I didn't know you paid this much attention to them.."
"I mean I don't really, but its our best friends group so, I'm supporting them." I honestly spoke
Just as we finished unpacking there was another knock at the door, this time it was Ten, "Uh, food is here, if youre ready to eat you two should come on out."
"Thank you," I said, both Rose and I stood up and followed Ten to the living room, the dreamies ate at the table while the older members ate in the living room.
"But Taey-" Haechan whined
"No buts,"
"But I'm in NCT 127 too." Haechan snapped
"Be quiet or else." Taeyong snapped back at him, this time making Haechan stop talking
As we ate no one really talked, it was pretty awkward, Mark and I had little conversations here and there but that was it.
"Do you guys not talk while eating?"
"No not really, I don't know why we don't." Mark said
"Well um I'm done eating, I can wash the dishes," I stood up from where I was sitting
"Soobin you don't have too, we can do it," Doyoung motioned me to sit back down
"Its okay, I got it! You guys have done so much for Rose and I today, a little dishes wont hurt," I walked to the kitchen right after so they didn't stop me. One after another they brought their dishes and placed them on the counter next to me, Ten was the last to bring me his plate. He stood by me for a moment, not saying anything, then I saw from the corner of my eyes that he was rolling up his sleeve.
"Can I help you?" He politely asked
"Uh..yeah I don't see why not."
I moved over for him and he scooted next to me, it was quiet for a while until I accidentally splattered soap all over him, "Oh-oh my, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-" I was cut off by Ten putting soap on my face gently.
"Its okay," he smiled sweetly
"Hey! Yours was on purpose, I splashed a little water on him, we splashed water back and forth at each other. I stepped back only to slip on water but was caught by Ten and we both fell, I laid on top of him for a while until I realized that I was on top of him
"Thank you," I stood up grabbing the counter trying not to fall again
"No problem," he smiled back at me
"What the-" we turned and saw Doyoung standing behind us
"Uh, we'll clean it.." I nervously replied back, I grabbed a towel and started cleaning the wet floor
Ten reached to grab my arm, "I can do it, you go get some rest."
"Are you sure? I started it, so I should clean it."
"Ill be okay, you've had a long day," he lightly pushed me away
I walked to the room Rose and I were staying in, I walked in and she was already sleeping, with a book in her hand and her face not washed. "Youre always falling asleep like this," I grabbed makeup wipes and gently wiped her makeup off. I headed towards the shower, luckily there was a shower in our room and that we didn't have to share with the guys.
-NEXT MORNING-
My alarm went off at 6:30 am, I washed up and got dressed, put on makeup and headed out. I left for Rose telling her that I left and reminded her to wash up before she leaves for school. I went to grab coffee before I had to go to work, I work at a little café and now youre wondering why I don't just order coffee at my work place, well I absolutely hate it there, Ive been trying to find a new job but no one is hiring at the moment.
I finished my coffee right before I had to punch into work, "Oh youre here." My evil manager glared, I don't know why she doesn't like me, I'm probably one of her best workers here.
"Yeah yeah, hi."
Today I only worked three hours, after I had a class. I prayed that those three hours would go by fast, sadly it went by slower than I wanted.
"Hi, what would you like to order," I smiled at the customer
"Um, can I get one hot coco and a chocolate muffin," the customer said placing her order
"Yes, that'll be $6.50," she handed me the money and moved over for other customers, I grabbed her chocolate muffin and got her hot coco ready.
"Here you are, have a nice day!" I smiled at her
"Thank you, you too," she smiled back
"Hi how can I he-Ten?"
"Soobin, you work here?" He asked in excitement
"Haha..yeah" I replied back
"Wow for how lon-"
"SOOBIN!" I turned around and saw my manager standing behind me angrily staring at me
"Yes?"
"What is this?"
"What is what?"
She showed me a picture of where I made the last customers hot coffee but everything was tossed around and nothing was in place.
"I didn't do that," I said holding in my anger
"Yes you did, youre the only one working, youre the only one who took a hot coco order," she snapped back
"Yeah I am the only one working, yes I'm the only one who took a hot coco order but no I did not make that mess, youre also the only other person working right now, so the only thing I can think of is, is that youre staging me to fire me for no reason," I let almost all of it out
"Do you think I would waste my precious time to make this up?" She walked towards me and raised her arm, as she was about to hit me her arm was stopped
I looked to my right and saw Ten holding her arm," Ten.."
"Let go of me young man,"
"No, hitting someone is never the right answer, staging her isn't right, and making a fuss in front of everyone here is just crazy. I watched her neatly make that hot coco, she put EVERYTHING back, I also saw you create that mess after she was done." He talked back to her in a tone id never thought id hear from him
"If you were trying to fire me then I quit, have fun running your business with the other workers who never come in, so really have fun doing all of this by yourself." I grabbed my things and grabbed Ten and walked out
We walked to a nearby park and sat on the swings in silence," Hey are you okay?" Ten asked quietly
"Oh yeah, thank you, Ive been wanting to quit that sucky job for the longest time." I honestly spoke
"Thank you for what?"
"Thank you for protecting me back there..."
"Of course, I didn't want her to hit you, but if she did then we could've reported her for abuse." He jokingly laughed making me laugh with him
I looked at the time, I still had an hour and a half before I had to go to my class," Do you want to do anything? I have some time before I have to go to my class,"
He looked up at me and didn't say anything, "Uh..sure, what do you want to do? Did you eat?"
Now that he said that I didn't eat, I only had a coffee," I didn't eat, should we go get some food?"
"Sure!"
We walked past a few restaurants but didn't know exactly what we wanted, "How about some ramen?" Ten asked pointing at a ramen restaurant, I nodded my head in agreement
"Two chicken ramen, with cheese on top." Ten told the waiter
As we waited for the ramen to arrive we had small talk here and there, "So uh, what do you do as a hobby?"
I froze at the question, I cant tell him that I'm in a dance crew," Well since I'm majoring in art, I draw a lot," I lied, not technically though
"Oooh cool, maybe one day you should show me your drawings." He smirked a little, I don't know why but whenever he smiles my face turns beat red
Our food arrived and I was so hungry I was stuffing my face, "Slow down there haha," Ten said reaching over and wiped the corner of my mouth with his thumb making me heart stop for a quick second before it started beating like crazy
I looked at the time and I only had a few minutes before I had to leave which is good cause my heart was not slowing down, the more I looked at him my heart would beat faster," Um I got to go, ill pay!"
"No you don't have to!" I heard him say as I sprinted away and paid
I ran so fast I got to my class early but its okay, calm down, calm down, I told myself. In class I couldn't focus at all, it kept replaying in my head. When class ended I headed to pick up Rose and Mark.
They walked out together laughing and were very happy to see me, "SOOBINNN!" They yelled at they both ran towards me, Rose hugged me so tight like she hasn't seen me in forever.
"Hi hi hi! You two wont believe my day."
"Did something bad happen?" Rose asked looking concerned
"Not technically,"
"Then what?" Mark asked
"Well you know my everyday schedule, I went to work, my manager tried to stage me for something I didn't do, she made a big scene, was about to hit me when BAM, she was stopped by Ten-"
"Wait Ten? As in my Ten?" Mark asked for confirmation
"Yes your Ten. But that's not all! Okay so then I quit and Ten and I decided to go get ramen before I had to go to class and while I was eating, well shoving my face, he told me to calm down THEN HE." I stopped to make them wonder what happened
"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS DO THIS WHAT HAPPENED!" Rose yelled
"HAha anyways then he reached over and wiped my mouth with his hand, I was so embarrassed I ran to school."
"Wait you just got up and left?" Rose asked
"Well no, I told him I was going and told him that id pay,"
"WOah, I think Ten likes you," Mark said with his eyes wide open
"Mark don't say things just to say. And be polite, hes your hyung." Rose scolded him and lightly slapped his arm
As we kept walking back to the dorm Marks phone went off
"Oh hey Ten hyung, were on our way back.....oh yeah Soobins with us." My eyes grew wider, Mark started to walk faster so we couldn't hear him
After he got off the phone he looked right at me, "Hes looking for you and asked if you were okay, you know cause he made your heart race, or so he thinks, but it did, I told him you were alright though."
"Haha thank you, but how am I suppose to face him? We all live together now."
"Well we'll find out.." Rose said as she opened the door to the dorms
"Were already here?!"
They both nodded their head and we headed up to the fifth floor. I don't know if I like him or not but he sure is growing on me not gonna lie. But ill admit hes super cute but Ive never been in a relationship before, I'm scared to see what happens next.
"Soobin, do you..."
"I don't know Mark.."
"But have you?"
"No ive never been in a relationship Rose."
"Well this shall be interesting."
"I agree Mark."
"Maybe hes just giving us a good first impression and is being nice!" Rose said
"Oh true, he likes when people like him for his kindness and such, not that hes a bad dude." Mark agreed with Rose
We walked into the room and some of the guys were in the dorm playing games, the others just talking to each other. Ten was nowhere in sight and that's how I wanted it, at least for now.
"Hi Soobin! I missed ya this morning, I didn't get to say hi." Haechan frowned
"Oh shut it Haechan, youre so fake." Mark joked
"Fake huh.." Haechan glared at Mark
"Okay stop it." Taeyong butted in
"Well how was your day?" Jaehyun asked
"It was alright..I quit my job, then had ramen then went to school."
"YOU QUIT?!" Jaehyun yelled, "Why??"
"Woah there, calm down.."Taeyong said covering his ears
"Well I was being falsely accused of doing something, my own manager was trying to set me up, she tried to hit me when Ten grabb-"
"Ten?" They all looked at me weirdly
"Yeah...Ten..he stopped by to grab a coffee and ended up saving me from a slap," I explained
"Wow, Ten hyung is awesome." Jisung said
"Well I'm glad he stopped her from hurting you, what are you gonna do now that you don't have a job?" Johnny asked coming out of the kitchen
"That's what I'm not sure of, no one is hiring because every high school and college student is looking or has a job."
"OH I got it! You can work for us!" Chenle shouted
"What?"
"I heard that Lee Soo Man might fire manager hyung because he didn't want you and Rose to stay here, Lee Soo Man told him that he has to have respect for people that he respects." Chenle explained
"So I would be your manager?" Chenle nodded," Sorry little guy but I don't know how to drive..and you don't want me as your manager." Chenle frowned
"I'm sure there will be other opportunities out there for you Soobin." Jaehyun said patting my back
"Thanks Jaehyun oppa."
"You don't have to call me oppa, were the same age silly!"
"Oh right, Jaehyun." I smiled at him
"Well that escalated very quickly." Taeyong laughed
"Well I got to go finish a project, ill be back in a few hours," I said heading to my room to focus
"Alright, if you need anything text me." Mark said
Todays project is a little different from past projects, this project is drawing out outfits for the fashion designers and they are drawing out our sculptures/paintings for us, its a little weird since we don't know anything about fashion/art. They gave us a week to finish at least two drawings. I wanted to just finish it all tonight so then tomorrow I wouldn't have to do anything.
A few hours have passed since ive started working, I decided to go get a cup of water. I had my headphones on the whole time I never realized how loud they were outside. I opened my door and stepped on something that was laying in front of the door. I bent down to pick it up, it was a note:
"Hi Soobin, I just wanted to apologize for my sudden movements earlier today, I just wanted to be nice and wipe away the access food that was on the corners of your lips. But it was fin hanging out with you, we should do it again sometime!

I'm not gonna lie, I was a complete mess while reading his note, my heart fluttered really badly, this is the first note ive ever gotten from a guy besides Mark when he told me I look like a dog when I fell asleep while tutoring him.
I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle, I drank some in the kitchen and then headed back to my room. "Okay lets finish this thing." I said to myself.
Rose walked into the room, showered and went to bed, I looked at the time and it was already 1am, I was almost finished with the last outfit. When I got done I was wide awake, but it was okay since I had nothing to do later on that day. I decided to go watch a movie while I was still awake.

I got out of bed cause I couldn't sleep, I thought if I drank a cup of water maybe itll help, as I walked to the kitchen I noticed the tv was on, "Whos watching?" I asked myself I peeked and saw Soobin sitting in a very uncomfortable position sleeping on the couch, I walked over to her and sat down next to her and laid her head on my lap so she would be more comfortable. I sat there and moved her hair out of her face, and just petted her hair, her hair was soft, super soft. I soon feel asleep with my hand on her head.
"Oh my.."
"That's cute, really cute."
"Shh youll wake them up." I woke up hearing whispers, I opened my eyes to see phones pointed at Soobin and I.
"Well, good morning." Johnny said giving me and evil smile
"Uh morning.." I replied back
"His ears are all sorts of red." Yuta said grabbing my ear
"Quiet, youll wake her up." I shooed them away
When they all left it was nice and quiet, the sun made her fair skin glow, shes beautiful I thought, I moved her hair only to be startled by her sudden moves, she was still sleeping but she moved her arms around my waist. My eyes widened and I didn't know what to do.
"Rose..you smell good, what per-OH MY YOU ARE NOT ROSE." Soobin said waking up, she rubbed her eyes to see if it was really me. "How did I?"
"How did you what?" I said as calmly as I could
"How did I...I don't know I cant think..sorry for invading your space.." Soobin said covering her face
"Oh no its fine," I scratched the back of my neck," It was nice.." I felt my whole body turn red
"Oh uh, I got to go uh, uh shower..ill be back." And at that she ran to her room
"Hm was I too straightforward?"
"Very HAHAha." Johnny said coming out from where he was hiding.
"Can you..not." I rolled my eyes
>>SOOBIN POV<<
I ran back into our room after realizing that I was sleeping on Tens lap and not the bed, I took a shower to make me forget what just happened but it didn't work, his morning voice was very pleasing to hear, and the was the sun rays hit his face showing how perfect his skin was.
"You just had to sleep in the living room Soobin." I scolded myself
"Oh yeah I was wondering where you were," I heard Rose say as she was brushing her teeth
"Why didn't you come look for me?" I whined back
"I don't know, I thought you were still working on your project so I didn't bother looking for you," she spit out the toothpaste
I got dressed and headed out to meet the girls, the competition was coming up and we all memorized the dance perfectly we didn't practice. We didn't know what to do exactly, we sat around enjoying each others presence.
"So.." Ky awkwardly said breaking the silence
"So?" Ry questioned her
"What should we do?" I finished Ky's sentence
"Um, we can be cheesy and take cute Instagram pictures?" Yura said making us all laugh
"I guess we could, where should we go to take them?" I asked
"I don't know." And that was the end of us trying to do something
"I have to go, I have a project to finish," I grabbed my bag and headed out
"Alright, see you in a few days." Ky waved along with the other girls, I waved back and headed back to the dorm
I walked back hoping Ten wasn't at home, I stopped at a convenience store and grabbed a bottle of water and some chips. I soon forgot what had even happened with Ten until Johnny messaged me on KKT
Johnny : Hey, so, whats up with you and Ten?
Soobin : What do you mean?
Johnny : C'mon now, don't play dumb
Soobin : Okay okay, I'm not too sure myself, this has never happened to me, but don't tell Mark, he doesn't know
Johnny : Wait, is Ten the first to act like this towards you? And I wont!
Soobin : Yeah, ive never had a boyfriend or anything
Johnny : Ohhh well that's okay, not everyone has, but if you need anyone to talk to I'm here.
Soobin : Thanks Johnny! Oh by the way are you at the dorms?
Johnny : I am about to leave why?
Soobin : Is he there?
Johnny : Ten? No he went out
Soobin : Thanks again
I headed up the elevator to get to the dorm, as I munched on my chips I heard a familiar voice heading to the elevator, I put my hood on and covered my face as well as I could. It was Ten..with a girl, but they kinda sounded a like and I know he has a younger sister, but I don't know exactly who she was, as they got on I hopped off, or at least tried to when my wrist was grabbed.
"Soobin?" Ten asked while trying to get a glimpse of my face and all I could do is shake my head, "Oh sorry I thought you were someone I know."
"Whos Soobin?" I heard the girl ask
"Oh, one of Marks best friends, shes really cute, quite my type." I froze in my steps and my face turned red, just as I was about to walk away I was grabbed again
"Lets meet later? How about a date at the Han River? Okay great, see you at 6 Soobin." My eyes shot wide open, at that moment I knew I should've walked away when I had the chance
"Uh..okay.." I managed to spit out
I walked into the dorm and was greeted by the other members, "Oh hey Soobin!" Jaehyun walked over to me and gave me a high five
"Hey Jaehyun," I smiled at him
I went to my room and saw the time go by super fast by the time I knew it, it was already almost 6. I went to the dresser and grabbed a black skirt and on the side it had a strap on it (like lisa's skirt in as if its your last) and a sweater crop, grabbed my boots and headed towards the door.
"Where are you off too?" Rose asked
"And dressed like that." Mark disapproved
"I have a meeting with the girls." I whispered
"Ahhhh, okay, don't come back home too late okay?" Mark joked
"Okay haha." I walked out the door and walked down the hall to the elevator, the door was about to close when it opened again, Ten.
"Oh hey, didn't know you were in here on your way to meet some handsome guy."
"Hey, didn't know you were this cheesy."
"Haha, I know, you look nice though, are you sure you wont be cold?"
"I think ill be fine."
We walked over to the river, as we walked we saw all of the pretty lights," Wow, its so pretty." I said taking a picture of the lights

Soobin was so amazed by the lights and too focused on taking pictures of the lights she didn't know I took a picture of her, "Wow, its so pretty," she said still taking a picture of the lights
"It is." I commented after her
We walked side by side looking at the water, we found a bench to sit on, we didn't really speak much, that was until Soobin broke the silence
"So who was that girl that was with you earlier and howd you know it was me?"
"Oh her, my sister," she formed an 'O' with her mouth," and I could spot you anywhere, whyd you lie and say it wasn't you?" I jokingly said in a serious tone
"Uh, I don't know...sorry.."
"Don't be! I was just joking, she hit my arm and I pretended that it hurt, that's when she turned to me and held where she hit my arm
"Are you okay?! I didn't hit you that hard."
"It hurts so bad, I think you have to kiss it."
"I think ill let it hurt." She laughed
"Youre different from the other girls, you know that?"
"What do you mean?"
"You don't care how you eat in front of me, ive heard you burp at the house, you take care of your appearance but sometimes you don't care how you look..where other girls eat cutely, don't burp or "fart" and always take care of how they look." I honestly spoke
"Oh, sorry I'm not like the other girls."
"Why do you keep apologizing? I like that, I like you, I know its too fast and too soon but, I also don't want to rush anything, I want you to know that I like you and I hope that you give me a chance. I want to know more about you, I want to know things that no one else knows."
"T-t-ten..that was really sweet..but like you said, lets get to know each other more, I want to know the REAL Ten, not NCT Ten. Then wherever we end up is where we end up."
"A happy ending is where we'll end up." I grabbed her hand and she was cold. I stood up and took off my long cardigan and handed it to her," I knew youd be cold. You don't have to dress to impress me."
"Dang okay, next date I'm wearing sweats, a sweater, no makeup and a messy bun." Soobin laughed
"Okay, then I will do the same."
"Really?"
"Duh, sweats are more comfy than getting all dressed."
"I agree Ten, but how about some dates we get dressed up."
"Okay okay, should we head back home? I don't want you to get sick."
"Its summer..."
"Its still cold, and youre living proof." I laughed and she lightly hit my arm again

I'm happy that he really told me how he was feeling, although it has only been a day or two, but in those few days a lot can happen. I'm just scared of this new path, ive never had any interest in boys, I always focused on my studies and dance, but Ten caught my attention completely, I don't know how he did it but he succeeded.
We walked into the dorm and the boys all looked at us weirdly, "Uh why is Soobin wearing your sweater?" Mark asked not looking too happy
"Oh I was on my way back from dropping off my sister when I saw Soobin, she was pretty cold since shes wearing what shes wearing.."
"Oooh, thanks Ten for taking care of my best friend." Rose said taking me into the room to get changed
"Does he smell good?"
"Of course."
"How was the meeting with the girls?"
"It was good, we decided to just meet when the competition is."
"Oh, cant wait to watch you perform, I'm so excited for you girls."
"Thanks love!" Rose has always been the one to cheer me up or get me energized, its like magic
"SOOOOOOBIN!" I heard Mark yell
"Um I don't know if hes mad or is in need of help..." Rose said looking scared
"Same..lets go.." we walked out of the room with linked arms
"Soobin." Mark said laying on the ground with the other members piled on top of him
"Oh my, get off of him, how many of you are there that you all attack him.....when I'm not here to help." I laughed
"NO DONT YOU DARE."
"I wont, but seriously guys get off of him." And with that they got off of him one by one
"Soobin can I talk to you?" Ten said grabbing my wrist, leading me into his room
"Yes?" I was very confused
"Nothing I just missed you."
"Ten we literally live together, and aren't you rushing the 'I miss you'"
"Oh right, sorry."
"Its okay, its natural, I missed you too I guess,"
"You guess?"
"Yeah I'm not sure if I miss you." I jokingly said
"Well then," Ten grabbed a pillow and hit my side with it
"What was that for?!"
"For not missing me!"
"Missing you?" Haechan walked in
"Y-ye-yeah, she keeps hitting me perfectly and wont miss me on purpose."
"Oh, well anyway..dinners here."
"Okay thanks for letting us know, lets go."
Dinner was ramen, pork belly and of course rice, and again they ate in silence," You guys are really boring, still no talking, still no 'how was your day today's'," I shook my head
"Well we all know what each other did..." Jisung
"Of course, the younger ones went to school while the older members either had some free time, practiced or stayed at home."
"Yeah that's what we did."
"Well, until we start talking at dinner, I will continue to wash the dishes, actually, Rose and I will take turns."
All of their eyes shot open," No no, theres no need for you to do them every night," Taeil said
"Then start talking." I commanded," I'm not trying to sound commanding but, wouldn't it be nice to have a nice long conversation while we ate?"
"I agree with Soobin," Hansol said, "This is the time where we can sit down and actually listen to each other, you never know, one of us could be going through a hard time and we may not know."
"Hansol, are you going through a hard time?" Johnny asked while patting his back
"No haha, it was just an example.
After dinner I went back into the room and called my parents, I haven't called them in a while and I wanted to let them know about my apartment.
"Mom?"
"Sweetheart! How are you? I haven't heard from you in a while, is everything going okay?"
"Yeah, I'm good actually, very good, I quit that lame job at the café the other day though."
"Really? Well that's good, are you looking for another job?"
"Yeah I am, hows dad?"
"Hes doing good, oh right, when will you be able to come visit us? Or should we come see you?"
"Actually mom, Rose and I's apartment got broken into, so were staying at a friends house."
"ARE YOU OKAY?! WHY DIDNT YOU LET ME KNOW SOONER!?"
"Mom calm down! Its okay, were fine, we weren't home when this happened."
"Oh thank goodness, so whose this friend of yours? Do we know her?"
"Haha, mom its a he, you remember Mark?"
"......Oh the famous one?"
"Yeah him, his ceo let us stay with them for a while, I don't how we'll be able to find a new apartment, but until then were just gonna settle here."
"Alright, well let me know if you need anything okay? Hmm if hes famous and in a group that means...YOURE IN A HOUSE WITH A WHOLE BUNCH OF GUYS!"
"Mom, shh youre so loud its hurting my ear drum, but yes, theyre one big family,"
"Alright...do you like any of them?" I could picture her smirking from the other end of the phone
"Actually yes, his names-"
"Hey Soobin, wanna go get ice cream?" Ten asked walking into the room
"Ten."
"Oh Ten, that's a unique name, is he cute? Send me a picture, or should I just look him up on the internet?"
"Uh hey mom, ill call you back."
"Oh, sorry did I interrupt something?"
"No no, you didn't, I was just talking to me mom.."
"About me." He said
"No, not about you.."
"Really? I just misheard your mom, I am cute, with a unique name, ill send her a selfie because looking it up is too much work. Or should we take one together?"
"Lets just go get that ice cream. Is it for all of us or just us?"
"Us of course," he smiled
We walked to the nearest convenient store and grabbed ice cream," Thank you for paying." I politely said
"No problem, so what do your parents do?"
"My parents? They own a flower farm, its really pretty, especially this time of the year," I said picturing the flowers
"Should we go visit them? I need to see how pretty these flowers are, oh, youre so clumsy when you eat," he reached over and wiped my mouth," its cute," he said while wiping my mouth
