"Back to America?," Irene asked,"Are you going?."

Ana replied quietly,"I'm not sure....I've been thinking, and maybe I should leave if the results are positive.."

"What about Kyungsoo? You're not going to tell him?."

"Irene, I don't know.... He's been busy, I don't want to bother. Besides, it would worry him too much, especially if I turn out to be pregnant."

"Still, it's his responsibility. Both of you have to take care of the child, and he still has to know whether you're leaving or not."

Ana sighed,"I see." She paused, thinking before she spoke."Listen, Irene, do you think you can come with me to the appointment this afternoon?"

"Ana, it's so sudden," Irene began,"I don't think I can go, my schedule is hectic for today and the next two days. Lo siento*."

"Oh, I see."

"I'm really sorry, I would try to move some things around but I need to deal with them as soon as possible."

"I thought you were going to come and support me," She sighed. "This is the second time you refuse to join me."

"Ana, please try to understand where I'm coming from. I am really sorry."

"It's fine. I have to go. Good bye."

"This is really irrationa-" Before Irene finished, Ana hung up.

I'll have to go on my own...

She would have offered Yixing, but he would get into a scandal if he is seen going inside a clinic. She would tell another friend of hers but they don't know her situation. Ana doesn't want so many people to know.

She could've gone with the word of a home pregnancy test, but she was still in denial. She wanted to hear the words of a professional. She needs to be reassured.

"R-Rojas?,"She looked up to the male nurse that called her name. "Come with me." The nurse led her to an empty room and made her sit on the cushioned table."The doctor will be here soon, just stay calm, you'll be fine. I'm sure it won't be bad news," He said as if he read her mind.

"Hello Ms.Rojas, I'm Dr. Choi, we are here to see your blood test results right?"

"Yes doctor."

"Alright, so your HCG harmone levels are pretty high, which means you are pregnant."
I'm pregnant, this is not happening.

"How long?,"Her voice was cracking.

"We've prepared an appointment for the ultrasound, that's why we are in here,"Ana looked around and saw the equipment. She was too anxious to take in any type of detail. "Lay down, Mr. Lee here will help you."

"But this is all so sudden..."

"No worries, I'm sure your child will be alright."

They found out the child had about 2 months into the pregnancy, and Ana was extremely confused. She remembered having intimate relations with Kyungsoo before they stopped communicating, but it didn't make any sense. They were being safe and had taken precautions, and it didn't seem to work. Ana panicked almost immediately, and she began asking the doctor a bunch of questions. She commented how much caffeine and alcohol she drank and she was recommended to go on a diet for the child and herself.

On her way back to her apartment, Ana stopped by a supermarket and scowled while she picked out the things in her recommendation list. How was she going to tell Kyungsoo? Should she lie and hide the child from him? That would save him and his group from trouble. First, she would need to ask Irene and maybe call home. But Ana did not want to speak with her at the moment. Ana was stuck in a moment of distress, her mind would usually keep under control with problems as big as this, but she couldn't concentrate. She didn't blame Kyungsoo for anything. In fact, she believed most problems were caused because of her. Maybe she had done something to piss him off. It wasn't much help that he is extremely reserved, more than her. Opening up wasn't a big deal when she did it with people she love.

Her relationship was finally catching up to her and revealing itself. Their healthy relationship that
had been going strong is going to ruins 7 months into it. And she did not notice.
When she was checking out her items, she scanned the magazines by the cash register. She stopped at one that caught her attention, she tried to keep calm when she saw Irene on the cover and grabbed the magazine. She placed it with her items and paid for everything. She got into her car, still in awe. Why is she in a magazine cover? Before starting the car she skimmed through the magazine a couple of times. Not believing what she was reading.

"Irene...international super star......company owner at such young age...fights for world diversity with her publishing branch.....Oh my gosh this explains everything!"

Their disagreement in the clinic wasn't the only time they had 'argued'. Before, Ana had offered Irene to move in with her in the States, in the process of putting her life back together and start all over again, but Irene had politely refused. Ana was extremely bothered and they had small argument. They had barely fixed things up when Ana blew another fuse in the clinic. It was a very selfish move of her and she did not know where this was coming from. Ana was behaving so differently.

Ana was extremely humiliated and embarrassed, not by her discussion with Irene, but with her own situation. I have to apologize.... She was finally admitting how irrational she was once she was back in her apartment. Irene was still being nice after all. Ana swallowed her pride, grabbed her cellphone and called Irene.
