Dream(Joshua x Reader)

Right after we talked to their manager, I was still sitting in the house.

"You okay?" Joshua asked, startle me.

"Y-yeah... why are you still here?" I asked him.

"Why? Because I wondered why you changed your mind"

"Because.. I want to do something with my life. Trying to get an adventure like grandma suggested." I answered.

"B-but why did you smile when I told the manager about..."

"oh that? You saw that?"

I nodded as I waited for his answer.

"Because, I felt proud when you opened yourself for our manager."

"Oh, that's why" I tried to hide my blushing face.

"Hey, what did you think?" he asked, putting his hand to my cheek.

"I- i dont know" I stuttered.

He started to giggle as he looked in my eyes.

"But I am happy that you are going to join us" he finally smiled.

"Why? It didn't look like it when you met me this morning" I answered cold.

"That is because... Never mind!" he tried to brush it off.

"Tell me!" I pouted, but he just shaked his head.
At that time, grandma and grandpa entered the gathering house.
"(Y/N)! I heard your answer" Grandpa smiled as he brought me into a tight hug.

"I am sorry Grandpa, are you mad?"

"Mad? I am thrilled!! I can't believe our little (Y/N) is going to Seoul!!"

"We couldn't be more proud" Grandma smiled as she patted me on the head.

"thank you" I smiled as I looked at Joshua.
Before I could say anything, both of my grandparents let go of me and walked towards Joshua.

"Please take care of (Y/N)" they bowed to him.

Joshua started to panic as he just smiled towards them.

"So (Y/N), when are you leaving?" Grandpa asked.

"The manager told me that we would in some hours." I answered with a smile.

"Are you exited?" Grandma asked as she started to stroke my hair.

"Yeah, but scared too"

"But don't worry. The manager is with you, so is the Seventeen boys too"

"Don't forget Chae" Grandpa started to laugh, making grandma laugh as well.

I started to laugh with them as I peeked at Joshua.
He was making a bitter face.
Before I could do anything further, the Seventeen boys came rushing inside.
"(Y/N)!!" they screamed.

"Whoa! What's going on?"

"I am so glad!!" Seungkwan smiled.

"WHY ARE YOU CRYING?!" Mingyu asked shocked, hitting his head.

"Hey! Don't hit Seungkwan! But I wonder why he is crying..." Wonwoo commented. (MEANIE!!)

"I am just happy!!" he sniffled as DK started to comfort him.

"Where are you going to stay?" The8 asked quietly.
"Oh... ehm..." I wondered.
"She is staying in the trainee dorm." their manager answered.
"HUH?! She won't be staying with us?!" Wonwoo asked shocked.
"Stupid, of course not" Jeonghan patted his back, smiling.

"Shouldn't you get ready to leave?" Chae asked me from behind.

"Oh! I am done" I smiled.

"What?"

"I was kind of prepared for it..." I looked down, not knowing what to do.
Suddenly, I felt a hand on my head, starting to mess up my hair again.
"Oh my! (Y/N) has grown up!" he started to tease me.
"STOP IT CHAE! You mess my hair again!" I started to pout, hoping that he would stop.
After talking to the members and my grandparents, I decided to take a walk for myself at the beach.

It was quiet, but a bit windy.

"I will miss this island..." I mumbled to myself.

Out of nowhere, a strong wind attacked me, making me shut my eyes to make sure I don't get any sand in my eyes.

When I opened them again, I noticed that the ribbon around my wrist was gone.
"W-where is it?" I started to panic.
Then I notice the red ribbon in the sea.
Floating on the blue ocean.
Without any hesitation, I ran into the ocean to grab it, but the waves was playing with me, making the ribbon drift further away from me.
"AH! Why?!" I screamed frustrated as my feet sank more and more deeper into the ocean, making me unable to stand.
Frustrated and irritated, I started to swim after the ribbon.
The waves became stronger as they easily went over me.

Suddenly, I felt something in my hand.
With hope, I looked at my hand, to find

Seaweed....
"Oh COME ON!!" I yelled as I kept swimming, hoping that I would get it back.
After, who knows how long, I finally caught something in my hand again.
Hoping that it was not SEAWEED AGAIN I opened my eyes.
"THE RED RIBBON!!" I yelled happy as I started to rest, floating on my back.
"I got it back" I smiled, looking at the red ribbon, shining in the sun.
"I should head back" I realized as I started to swim back, which was pretty far away.

Damn...
Again... after who knows how long, I finally got back to the beach, with the ribbon safe in my hand.

"I am so tired" I mumbled to myself, letting myself fall on the sand.

"OH! I have to get changed before we are leaving!" I said as I started to run towards home.
As I was in my own thoughts, I ran into a person, making me fall on the ground.

"Oh, I am sorry!" I bowed my head, ready to run again when a voice spoke up.

"(Y/N)?! What happened to you?!"

"Joshua" I smiled, letting air of relieve leave my body.

"What happened?!" he asked, sitting on one knee beside me.
"I lost something"
"Where?"
"In the ocean"
Joshua sighted as he plopped down on the ground, running his hand in his hair.

"What did you lost that was so important?? Your bracelet from your parents?"

"No, this" I said, showing him the red ribbon.

"B-but that is-"

"The present I got from you, yeah"

"Why would you even go to get it back??" he asked, putting his hand to his neck.

"Because this is important to me" I held the ribbon close to me.

"Why is it that important?" he asked, looking at me.

"Because I got it from you" I smiled.

"You idiot..." Joshua joked hiding his face in his hand.

"Well, I get I have to get dressed before we leave!" I got up and started to run away.

"I see you later" Joshua's voice echoed behind me.
