It is the year 1957. The South Korean government has turned on its own people. Seven friends, Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon and I.M. (Kookang) are fighting for their friendship to last the dark period of their country's history. They all share a brotherly bond, however, a more than brotherly love blooms between Minhyuk and Hyungwon. They struggle for their lives in the religious and traditional society, meeting obstacle after obstacle. But, they do not yet know just how hard it will get, and one particular tragedy hits them the hardest. Will they be able to live through their hardships?
