Chapter 10 - Make her jealous

I think I am in love with someone. I think her name is...Sophia Hong? But..she might not date me because of her bestfriend Luna. Urgh. Fuck. Why is it always Luna that messes things up?

i felt Luna's head resting on my shoulders. She looks so sweet as she's sleeping.
Gently, I closed my eyes as well. However, I felt Luna's head slowly slipping. I immediately snapped open my eyes and lifted her head back to my shoulders. After making sure that she is ok, I then closed my eyes.
After a few minutes I decided I can't sleep I opened my eyes again and peered at Luna.
Park Jin-ah. My bestfriend ever since I was three.
It was a beautiful summer day in September when I stepped into my new school. I didn't know anyone. My mum and dad quickly kissed me goodbye and left me with the teacher.
I couldn't hold my tears as I absolutely shrieked for my parents, but they just slowly walked away.
"Here." I looked up to see a young girl holding out her hands to me. In her palm was a piece of chocolate. "Have this, chocolate makes you feel less sad."
I then took that chocolate and nibbled on it while the girl laughed. I recognised some brands she was wearing. Gucci, Chanel and Dior. Some brands I would never be able to buy.
"I'm Jin-ah by the way. But you can call me Luna." She then smiled before running off. Just when I thought that I was going to be alone once again, she came back holdinghands with a boy.
"This is Jungkook. He's my bestfriend. You can also be my bestfriend." Luna held out her hand again. "What's your name?"
"In-hye." I muttered before smiling. "You can call me Sophia."
And that is basically how I ended up being bestfriends with Jungkook and Luna.
I stared down at Luna, who was sleeping ever so peacefully. Of course she was always going to be better than me. At everything. Whether it was getting boy's heart or subjects. I sighed.
Ever since last year I had a crush on a boy. Min, he was called. I sat next to him in Chemistry and I remember edging towards him on my sear ever so slightly every lesson until I am literally next to him.
But Min HAD to love someone else. THAT SOMEONE ELSE HAS TO BE MY BESTFRIEND. I could hear my heartbreak when Min shoved me after Chemistry just so he can get to Luna.
I sighed at the sleeping girl next to me. But because sje is my bestfriend, and my heart would hurt whenever I hurt her, I didn't dare to ask her or be mean to her.
Because I am half a year older than her. I wanted to be a good sister to her. I SAID NOTHING.
Our free period was nearly over so I shook Luna. Her eyes fluttered open.
"Sophia unnie, what is it?" Luna asked sleepily.
"Its nearly lessons, get ready." I smiled before pulling on her hand so she stood up.
Luna packed her things and waved. "See you later unnie."
I then walked towards my lesson. Geography. I sit next to Rapmonster. The only guy that has Luna's heart and the only guy that is not madly in love with Luna.
"Hey." I said as I slumped down next to Rapmonster.
"Hey." He replied back. I poured out the contents of my Geography folder and sighed. Five more minutes until the start of the lesson.
"Sophia?" Rapmonster asked.
"Yah?"
"I was wondering something." Rapmonster smiled. "Do you like Min?"
That caught me off guard, but in the end I still muttered faintly a 'yes'
"I thought so." He laughed slightly. "But you do know that he is in love with Luna, right?"
"Yes, i guess so." I shrugged.
"Do you sometimes get jealous over your bestfriend?" Rapmonster asked.
Then without me even noticing it I spillt out all my stories about Luna and my feelings. Rapmonster smirked all the way.
"Here." Rapmonster leaned in close to my face. "Why not we make a deal?"
"A deal?" I gasped.
"Yes. A deal." Rapmonster smirked. "Sophia, the only way for Min to fall for you is if you are popular. Be my girlfriend Sophia. That way you will be popular, and...make LUNA JEALOUS."

Sorry this is like two weeks late but because I am in china now I have literally NOTHING to do. So...i'll be updating more often.

this chapter was actually really fun to write, but unfortuantely Sophia will betray Luna. BUT in order for our golden maknae to have a chance with Luna we gotta let that happen first.
