The following day, It was time to get ready for work and start promoting my new song. However, I didn't have a song to promote yet,so my manager told me to make a song to promote. Of course, thats what I decided to do after all so I headed to Eun Jung's recording studio to get to work. But when I got there it was dark,so I decided to wait for Eun Jung to show up,so we could work on debut song. A hour later, she still didn't show up, I was starting to get really bored of waiting,so I decided to start writing the lyrics.

All of sudden, I thought back to myself that writing lyrics for a song is really hard. I didn't even know were to start, much less I didn't even know what to even write about and every time I thought about made my head hurt. Then, I thought about what would the fans want to listen to from me? Then, it hit me that I should talk about myself,so the fans can get to know me through a song instead of me coming in all hard. It should be a ballad, a slow song that can be remembered by many listeners and easy to sing.

I talked about me loosening my parents, many of my hardships as a Japanese-Korean living in Korea and finally being able to follow my dream here as a artist. After finishing writing the lyrics, I decided to arrange the song,so it matches the song perfectly. The beat had to be slow tempo and beautiful enough to make others cry. Out of curiosity, I started coming up with different beats until I found a good beat that fit the song perfectly. After all the beat mixing, I finally found the perfect beat for the song which made me happy and excited.

I got up from the chair and left the studio to head to my manager's office to give her the song that I just finished composing and arranging myself. At first, I was happy to give it her,but then I got nervous because I thought maybe she wouldn't like it. Although, It was my first time using the recording studio equipment and writing my own lyrics.

Entering my manager's office

*Talking on the phone*

''Um...'' I softly said as she was talking on the phone

(I should come back sense she is busy talking on the phone)

*She points her finger towards me,indicating for me to seat down*

*I look around the room as she finish her conversation*

''What can I do for you Lily?'' She asked

''Well, I made my debut song for you to look over all ready.'' I told her handing it over

''Already! So fast, let me take a quick look at it first and lets discuss this.'' She said

*Looking over the song and the arrangement*

''Wow! this is amazing Lily you did a good job on the lyrics and arrangement. The lyrics is so beautiful and well thought of. As for the arrangement, you decided to go for something simple,but elegant as a ballad. I fully respect you for started off some what simple.'' she said proudly

''Thank you'' I replied

'' I will get to work quickly on your promotion for this new song sense you gave me something to work with. Although, you never named the song it self. What would you like to name the song?'' she said

''I would like to name the song Butterfly'' I responded proudly

''Butterfly? Why butterfly?'' she asked confused

''Because this song is precious to me, it is about my hardships that I had to face and my parents passing away. Therefore its like a butterfly coming out of its coon and flying away to find itself.'' I said softly

''I like the idea, you will amaze me and please don't disappoint me like some of the other groups/artists I've. You're to precious to drop, you've something nobody else have in this company and maybe so the whole music industry. Keep on amazing others and I'll have my eyes on you'' she said smiling

''Thank you very much for giving me this chance'' I said as I left her office smiling

After leaving her office, I suddenly felt better not regretting anything,but I knew I had a long way to go in the music industry. Their were a lot of struggles and happy moments that I'll have to go through,yet I had to think joyful thoughts. Then it came to my attention that making songs are fun then what people actually think to begin with yet, it just depends on what you want to talk about. All of a sudden, as I walking back to my dorm, Eun Jung was entering the companies building, heading to the companies cafeteria.

Which I thought was weird because she just arrive,yet she didn't bother to stop by her studio to see if my debut song was done or not. I decided to walk closer without her seeing me,she sat down next to this guy who looked familiar to me as if I had seen him before. However, I could only see him from the side not the front,so it was hard to fully identify him. But his voice was so familiar sense he was speaking a bit loud as some of the other people were looking at him.

As for Eun Jung, she was just sitting their nodding her head and giggling at whatever he was saying. Then she stood up and hugged him before walking away from the opposite side of the cafeteria. Moreover, the guy stood up and sat with another group of girls who was going crazy over him which made me confused as to who was this guy. Obviously, he had to be famous for girls to go wild over him,but it just seemed to be too good to be true. My head started to hurt after thinking about all this,so I headed back to my dorm to later fall asleep.

A hour later, I heard a knock on my door which I got up,so quickly. It was the one and only Eun Jung who decided to show up before my very own eyes. She walked in sadly and made herself comfortable sitting down on my couch crossing her legs. For some reason, she is always wearing short party dresses for work,but that was besides the whole point of her not even helping me on my song as I didn't forget.


''Lily, I am so sorry that I forgot about your debut song that we were supposed to work on.'' she said disappointed

''Well, you don't have to feel that bad about sense I handled it myself. I am pretty sure things like this happens all the time,so its not that big of a deal.'' I said

''Wait? You took care of it yourself without nobodies help? You wrote and arranged the song all by yourself?'' she asked confused

''Yes! it really wasn't that hard, even though it was my first time,but it was fun.'' I replied back to her

''Did you already perhaps turn the song in to your manager to get promoted?'' she asked

''Yes!'' I said hesitantly

''Okay'' she said softly heading out of my room

Of course, I didn't know what her problem was and why she was suddenly asking a lot of questions. However, all I knew is that she better not forget about our rehearsals in the future,or I will sure report her. I don't care how professional,popular, or even sexy she is. After all of that, I decided to head back to sleep sense I had more work to do the following day.
