Taehyung’s POV

“You guys go get the balloons and decoration and we’ll get the food.”

“Why do we always get the hard ones, we always go places far and you always go places that are near.”

My little sister just can’t seem to get enough of complaining. Well she’s actually not my ‘sister’ she’s just a little devil. Jimin never complains but they’ll end up going anyways. Today was Yongsun’s engagement and we decided to help her fiancée with his surprise, so I told Jimin and Y/N to get the decorations since it obviously the furthest place from our house. I really don’t know why people call her Solar, it sounds ugly but cool at the same time.

“Come on Taehyung, can you atleast go get it, it’s too far and you’re older” Areum can really be annoying. She never calls me oppa because apparently I don’t deserve it.

“Say oppa and I’ll go” I know she won’t say it so I used it against her

“Sometimes I really wonder if you actually care about our safety” Jimin said with a serious tone. That’s his way of trying to get out of the situation……but it didn’t work.

“Fine then we’ll get it, but don’t think that you will get away with this” My little sister really makes me laugh, shes says things she can’t do. Well I gotta go and help buy some food.

Areum's POV
Why does he always do this to me and jimin. “Say oppa and I’ll go” whatever, I’ll never call him oppa, he doesn’t deserve to be called oppa. I don’t really care about honorifics. Just cause we are the youngest doesn’t mean that he can boss us around and think he’s king. Me and jimin love going out together anyways so that was the advantage of us going together. We always bring up about us growing up together. Jimin will never forget the first time he met me and Taehyung. We love to go places but this time it was actually urgent because it was for our older sister. I’m the youngest in the family…well actually not the youngest, Jungkook is the youngest but he’s not our real brother. My mum and dad separated when I was born so I don’t really know much about them in the past. My mum lives with me and my dad is unknown. My mum is my other half, she knows my secrets and she always gives advice. She even asked me to marry Jimin but he’s my best friend so I don’t see him that way. My mum remarried with Jungkook’s dad when I was 10. Jimin and Taehyung are actually close friends, they do such weird things.

Anyways we arrived to the shops. I don’t know why but we suddenly forgot what to get. We thought it was shoes, but then Jimin says it’s got something to do with parties. Of course, we decided to get a piñata and food. Wait didn’t someone mention getting food. No it must’ve been us that is supposed to get food. So we ended up getting food.

Jimin’s POV

I never really complain when Taehyung tells us to go out and get things for him. I never complain because I get to go with Areum. She’s my best friend and I love hanging out with her. To be honest it’s better than being with Taehyung. Even though he’s my best friend too, she’s better because I open more to her and she’s comfortable to be with. Jungkook is my other favourite person, he’s so cute. I can never get enough of him, he’s very helpful. He cares for those he loves. At first when I saw him he was very shy, he liked to be by himself but Areum came and changed everything. Areum puts people before herself. She has the ability to make people smile except for one person. Her own big brother…Taehyung. He’s always mean to her and I hate it. Solar is another one but she’s not as mean as Taehyung. I never call her by her real name, it reminds me of bad memories.

Anyways after we talked in the car we went in the shops. Areum forgot what we were supposed to get. I know that we were supposed to get something that relates to parties and we got food. We were sure that food was needed because it was mentioned. Areum got the piñata while I got the food.

On the way back we were having laugh like always. Suddenly she got a phone call from Taehyung. He told us not to come home. Why can’t we come home? Believe it or not but every time we go and get something he always calls to say to not come home. Usually we’d listen and Areum would get messages from a certain someone and she wouldn’t tell me because it’s not important. I never bothered anyways. Usually we’d listen and not go home but Areum had some gut feeling she had to go home because this was Solar’s fiancée’s surprise and she loved her sister even though she never really fitted in with the older 2. So we decided to go home.

Areum POV

“Don’t come home, the plan was cancelled” It was weird for him to say this because Yongsun was about to get proposed to by her fiancée. I then got a text from someone, it was always this person. I never figured out who it was because this person gets a new number all the time.

‘You know you should listen’

‘But if you want to come home, you can’

‘Have fun with Jimin while you’re at it’

Why would this person know Jimin? Why would she know where we live? This person would either send texts like, ‘you wrecked everything’ or ‘why did you have to be alive’. Words like that hurt me but I knew that it wasn’t worth being upset. I thought for now it could be two people. It would be my old best friend who betrayed me or someone Taehyung knew. To be honest I never told jimin because I didn’t want to bother him. I was trying to figure who this could be. It could be someone from the past could it. But I didn’t let it get to me. Well we arrived home expecting everything to be cancelled and quiet. We then saw our house. Jimin then turned around when he’s supposed to go straight.

“What the hell jimin, we’re supposed to go home.”

“It’s not the right house” he started panicking but I could tell he's lying

I looked properly and I was sure that this was our house. So I pulled the brake and Jimin was shocked. I was about to go outside when jimin pulled me and said it’s not safe for me.

What the hell, what do you mean, it’s my own house, why wouldn’t I be safe, I thought to myself. I ran to the house with jimin chasing me. It was funny because I was a fast runner and jimin can’t catch up to me. I stopped halfway and saw that the house was full of loud music and there was already people in there. I didn’t realise a tear dropped, I never thought that Taehyung would just lie to us. I was going to run to the front door until I spotted two people laughing and sitting on the tree me and Jimin sits on when we’re sad. Jimin then caught up to me. I laughed at how he was breathing.

“Why didn’t you drive here?”

“Because I saw the lights and I knew you would be sad”

Sometimes I don’t know what I’d do without Jimin, he’s so kind and lovable. I told jimin I see 2 people on our tree. We then went to go see who it was but without getting caught. Jimin and I then went closer and closer and closer. Then I realised on of them was Taehyung and I couldn’t see the other one but it was obviously a girl. When the moonlight finally shown onto her, me and jimin couldn’t believe who it was. We both covered our mouths and eyes. Betrayal then filled our bodies.
