Stay With Us

A few more days pass and we still were trying to decide how to tell Tae. I decided to go to work early to clear my head some. I left Tae and Jimin each a note saying I went to work without them.

I get to the dressing room to change when I see Hyosonn walk in. “Hey you’re here early.”

“Yeah. I got tired of waiting for the boys.” I say putting on my shoes.

“We’re going out for coffee if you want to join us.”

“Sure. I’ll let the guys know at lunch.”

We both grab our bags to go practice after she finished changing. The morning went by quickly at noon Mr. Kwon dismissed us for lunch. I grab my wallet and phone heading out of the practice room door with the rest of the girls. I see Jimin sitting on the floor scrolling through his phone waiting for me.

“I’ll see you guys after lunch.” I tell them before walking over to Jimin. “Hey.”

“Hey.” He says standing up and putting his phone in his pocket. “Are you ok? You left really early this morning.”

“Yeah. I just wanted to get some air. I’ve been thinking about Tae a lot.” I say as we start walking.

“We’re good then?”

“Yeah.” I say laughing. “We’re good.”

We go grab our lunch and start eating. “Oh! I almost forgot. I’m going with the girls for coffee when we get done today.” I tell him as I am finishing my food.

“Ok. I’ll head home then when I’m done today.”

“Sounds good. Let Tae know for me?” I ask picking up my tray.

“Yeah no problem.”

We both dispose of our trays and head back up to work. I walk into the practice room saying bye to him before shutting the door.

That afternoon went pretty quickly too. We got finished at 5:00. The girls and I got changed quickly heading to the café down the street in Jiyeon car.

“Maranda, are you sure you are V’s cousin?” Bora asked me once we sat down with our drinks.

“Yeah?” I say laughing.

“Well you are always with Jimin. I don’t think I have actually ever seen you with V.” All of the girls agree with her.

“It’s like you two are dating. You’re always together!” Hyosonn says laughing. They all see the blush on my face. “Oh my God! Shut up!”

“Well.”

“Shut up! Shut up!” She says excited.

“When?” Jiyeon asks me with a huge smile on her face.

“Two months now.” I confess to them turning red.

“You guys have been dating since you started working with us?” Hyosonn asks surprised. “No wonder you turned down Minhyuk so fast.”

“And that explains Jimin volunteering the other boys.” Jiyeon says laughing again.

“What did V say to you dating a bandmate?” Bora asked.

“That’s the tricky part. He doesn’t know yet. We have been keeping it a secret.”

“What? Why?”

“We’re afraid he will send me back to America. My dad had told him if I do anything stupid to send me home.”

“Jimin won’t let that happen though will he?” Hyosonn asks.

“He will try to stop it but ultimately there isn’t anything he can do.”

“I guess that’s true.”

“You guys can’t say anything. I shouldn’t have let you guys know.” I say upset with myself.

“You can count on us.” Jiyeon says with the other girls agreeing.

“Want me to hook up with V to get him in a good mood for you to tell him?” Hyosonn says laughing.

“Aren’t you sleeping with Yeongjin?” I ask her laughing.

“Oh I can break that off whenever I want.” She says waving her hand at me.

We finish our coffee and Jiyeon takes everyone home. I walk into the house seeing it empty. I go to my room to lie down until the boys get home. I then hear music coming from our practice room. I walk in to see Jimin dancing. I set my stuff down and go join him. We finished the song he was on and decided to do the new song again.

We get through all of it and right at the end Jimin pulled me into a hard kiss.

“When was that added to the choreography?”

We both turn to see Kookie standing there watching us. It then clicks to him by the look on our faces. “That wasn’t added was it? This is why Jimin has been leaving me alone.” He then turns to leave the room.

“Kookie wait.” Jimin says going after him. “You can’t say anything. V doesn’t know yet.”

He then turns around looking at Jimin. “He is going to kill you.”

“We know. That’s why we haven’t said anything yet.” I say walking over to them.

“I won’t say anything. But you two should.”

“We know!” I say irritated. “We don’t know how.”

Kookie then imitates me. “Tae Oppa I am dating Jimin Oppa. I’m sorry don’t be mad. I love him.” He puts his hands together and does a weird dip.

“I don’t sound like that.” I say crossing my arms.

“Yes you do.” He says crossing his arms still doing my voice.

“I think I liked it better when I intimidated you.”

“Well too bad. You’re here to stay so I had to get over it.” He then changes to talking about us.

“So how long has this been going on? And who knows?”

“Two months everyone but Jin and V.” Jimin tells him.

“And the girls know now too. They figured it out when we went to get coffee.”

“You guys are so stupid!” Kookie yells at us. “He is going to find out any day now. You are not very good at hiding it.”

“It took you two months didn’t it?” I ask him.

“I’m younger than you Noona! If I can find out I’m sure he will.”

“We’re trying to figure out how.” Jimin tells him.

“Well you better do it fast.”
