Forget About Her

About 2 hours later the professor ends the class with a cheerful goodbye. SoonHee picks up her bag from the floor and she's about to turn around when she feels arms wrap around her shoulders.

"Hey SoonHee!" Jimin cheers as his arms tighten around her. She laughs and pats his arm with a happy hello. Jimin lets go of the back hug and SoonHee finally turns around to see a smiling Jimin.

"Ready to go visit your mom?" Jimin asks as he slings his arm around her shoulders. She gives him a small smile and they walk out of the room together.

"So Jimin..." SoonHee starts off her sentence as they walk down the hallways.

"Hm?"

"How's Jungkook doing?" She asks him and he falters in his steps.

"Oh uh, Jungkook? He seems like he's doing great thanks to you", Jimin says with a small smile as he glances towards her face.

"That's good", SoonHee breathes and Jimin removes his arm from her shoulders.

"Are you feeling okay SoonHee?" Jimin asks her and she nods her head.

"Of course, why wouldn't I be?" She asks him and he bites his bottom lip.

"I don't know... You're just, too cheerful", he says and she laughs.

"Too cheerful? Wasn't I always like this?" She asks him and he stays silent.

Silence envelopes the two as they exit the hallway and walk through the amphitheater. Jimin slings his arm around her shoulders once again as they make their way to the parking lot. SoonHee glances up at him and he gives her a warm smile. They finally make it to Jimins parked car and he opens the passenger door for her. She's about to enter the car when she hears her name being called from behind her. She turns around to see Jungkook jogging towards them.

"Hey what's up?" Jimin says as I take a step towards Jungkook.

"Have you guys seen MinAh? I haven't seen her in almost a week", Jungkook says in a worried tone. Both Jimin and SoonHee glance at each other to confirm whether or not they've seen her.

They haven't.

"We haven't seen her", SoonHee says as she looks back at Jungkook. He sighs and says, "she won't pick up my calls... I'm getting kind of worried."

"We'll let you know if we see her", SoonHee says as she rests her hand on Jungkooks shoulder to give him some reassurance. He looks up at her and gives her a small smile.

"Thanks SoonHee", he says and she gives him a small smile in return.

"Well I have to go, I'll text you?" SoonHee asks as she's about to step into the car. Jungkook nods in confirmation and SoonHee finally enters the passenger side. She waves goodbye towards Jungkook as Jimin closes the door and walks over to the drivers side.

"Take care", Jungkook mutters with a small smile as he takes a step backwards. Jimin puts the car in reverse and backs out of the parking spot; leaving Jungkook standing alone.

He grits his teeth as he recalls Jimins arm around her and shakes his head.

"No", Jungkook tells himself out loud. He still hates this emotion and reminds himself that he should be happy.
