Forget About Her

{Authors POV}

"A-a coma?" Her father says with eyes wide as he clutches the front of his shirt. He quickly runs to the fragile mothers side while slightly moving SoonHee, and takes her hand in his.

"Sweetie you have to wake up now. Please wake up", the father says quickly in a hushed and shaky tone.

SoonHee continues to stand behind her fathers side, staring blankly at her mother and step father.

"SoonHee..." she hears from Jungkook but she ignores him as she leaves the room, wiping away a stray tear that has fallen from her already swollen and tired eyes.

She walks down the hospital hallway as if she were in a daze of some sort. She no longer can hear anything around her and no longer cares.

Her thoughts over power her, unable to think of anything else but her poor mother.

She's finally snapped out of her senses when a pair of fingers snap in front of her face.

"SoonHee", Jungkook calls her name as he stands in front of her, trying to block her walk way.

"Oh huh? Sorry I wasn't paying attention.." She mutters as she finally looks up at Jungkook's face.

"It's okay, but I hope you don't mind that I called Jimin over", Jungkook's says and SoonHee gives him a small smile in return.

"Thank you-" she says and is cut off when she hears loud footsteps running through the hallways.

"SoonHee!" She hears a male voice yell and the hallways echo from his loud voice. She looks over Jungkook's shoulder to see Jimin running full speed towards them with some hospital staff chasing him.

"Jimin", she mutters as her bottom lip starts to tremble slightly. Jimin sprints and slams into her as he gives her a tight hug.

"I'm right here SoonHee, it's okay", Jimin says sweetly in her ear as he hugs her tightly while stroking the back of her head.

"J-Jimin, umma-"

"I know I know", Jimin cuts off SoonHee's words as she hugs him back tightly and cries into his chest.

"She may never wake up", she sobs and he continues to hug her tightly as he sways slightly to comfort the upset girl.

Jungkook stands there, watching the two hug as if they were... A couple..

He feels an emotion he felt once before and grits his teeth silently.

Jealousy... He feels jealousy.

And he hates this emotion. The emotion of feeling envy towards another male.

He feels as if he should be the one to comfort SoonHee when she's at her worst, not Jimin.

But, Jimin is her best friend. He's been there for her way longer then Jungkook has.
Jungkook takes a slow breathe to calm his wild emotions.

"Leave them alone, he's SoonHee's cousin", Jungkook says to the hospital staff to get them to leave. They nod slowly and turn around to leave.

"Aish", Jungkook mutters towards them as they walk away.

He looks back towards SoonHee and Jimin as he bites his bottom lip.

"We should go sit in the waiting room", Jungkook says towards the two and they break away from the hug. SoonHee gives a small nod and Jimin starts to lead her towards the waiting room, leaving Jungkook alone in the hallway. Jungkook turns slightly and walks back towards SoonHee's mothers' room. He opens the door to see a weeping father, still sitting besides the sleeping mother. He walks towards the other side of the bed and lightly takes the mothers hand in his.

"Please get better soon", Jungkook mutters as he squeezes her hand slightly.

"Your family is worried sick about you.. Please, wake up soon", He says as his grip on her hand tightens. He feels her hand flinch ever so slightly and he slowly smiles.

"S-She moved!" The father yells with wide eyes as he looks over at Jungkook.

"Your words helped her", the father says as he looks at Jungkook, who's still smiling towards the woman on the bed. He nods and says while still holding the mothers hand, "thank you, for giving birth to a beautiful daughter. Without her, I wouldn't be the person that I am currently. I would still be... Unhappy."

Her hand flinches again as a tear drop trickles from her eye.

"Thank you", Jungkook says lastly as he bows towards the mother. He straightens up and begins to leave when SoonHee's father stops him.

"Wait..."

Jungkook turns around to see the fathers' eyes watering.

"Thank you... For your kind words.." He says and Jungkook bows slightly towards the man.

"Thank you for helping SoonHee's mom take care of SoonHee", he says lastly and he starts to leave. He turns to take one last look at SoonHee's mom to see that tears are falling from the sleeping mothers eyes.

He gives a worried expression towards the woman but turns away quickly and leaves the room. He starts to tear up and shake his head to get rid of the upset feeling in his chest.

"I will take care of SoonHee..." Jungkook mutters quietly to himself as he walks down the hallway.
