Forget About Her

{Authors POV}

"I'm sorry, but please tell Ms. Jeong's daughter when she wakes up what happened", the doctor says to Jungkook as SoonHee stirs and continues to sleep on his shoulder.

"I'm awake", SoonHee says as her eye lids slowly open.

"What happened?" she asks worriedly and she stands up quickly as she looks at the doctor.

"I'm sorry SoonHee, but your mother didn't make it" the doctors says and SoonHee's eyes widen in shock.

"No.... She's... Still alive... She... This can't be!!" She screams as she clutches onto the doctors collar.

"NO! I won't accept this!!" She yells as tears start to fall down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry, there was nothing I could've done", the doctor says as he removes her hands from his collar.

She places her hands over her mouth and screams in terror.

"MOM" she screams into her hands as she falls to her knees. She continues to sob into her hands as she began to think about the memories she shared with her mother.

The one person she truly loved, is gone…

She loved her mom so much. She could die and take a bullet for her (but of course, what child that loves their parents wouldn't take a bullet for them?).

She turns around to see Jungkook getting out of his seat. He kneels in front of her and shakes his head in dismay.

"You're pathetic", he mutters as he takes her chin in his hand so that he can get a better look of her tear stained face.

"What happened to the strong woman before? What happened to the fun and smiling SoonHee?" Jungkook says with a sneer and he stands up.

"I can't believe I kissed you, someone as pitiful as you", he says with disgust.

SoonHee can't help but bite her bottom lip and feel ashamed.

She was always known as someone who was cheerful. Someone that smiles and cheers others up instead of cheering herself. She almost always put others before herself.

But she does admit that since she started talking to Jungkook, she's changed.

She's a little, different.

But in a good way, perhaps?

SoonHee immediately stands up and grabs his arm as Jungkook starts to turn away.

"Please don't go Jungkook! I need someone right now.." SoonHee says as tears continue to roll down her face.

She doesn't want Jungkook to leave her alone. She needs someone right now.

She doesn't want him to leave and never come back.

She liked how he made her laugh and distracted her from her worries. She liked how he smiled and joked around with her.

"Don't leave me..." She mutters and Jungkook shoves her hand off his arm.

"You're a disgrace.. I can't believe I wanted to be with someone like you. You make me sick to my stomach", Jungkook says and he starts to turn away.

"JUNGKOOK PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME", SoonHee screams and tries to run after him. Jungkook turns back and gives her a repulsive look, as if she were an annoyance to him.

"I wish I never met someone like you. You're shit to me, and nothing more. I would rather my heart be broken by MinAh millions of times then see you looking like this", he says loudly so that everyone in the hospital can hear.

"I hate you", he says and he starts to walk away.

She sobs loudly as she tries to chase after him.

She didn't like hearing Jungkook saying those awful words to her. She hated seeing him look at her with that look.

That same look that her own father gave her when she told him that she would live with her mother and her mothers' new husband.

"Jungkook... Don't leave me! Please..." SoonHee yells as she continues to chase after him. No matter how much she runs, he seems to get farther and farther away.

"Don't leave me!" She continues to yell and sprint towards him, but she could never catch up to him-
