Chapter 7
(Eun’s POV)
I got home and saw that Soo was there already… She was staring at the ceiling and blushing…

“Soo!” I shouted happily while holding the huge shopping bags in my hand.
“Huh?” Soo stared at me.
“What’s wrong? Your face looks super red.” I said.
“Oh nothing!” Soo quickly covered her face.

I shrugged and walked into my room. Then I saw 30 unread messages from Sehun!
S: Hey!
S: Eun! Sup?
S: Eun!! You there?
S: Eunnie!!!!!!!!!!!!
S: Yah! Eun I’m gonna be mad!
S: Eun! Answer me!
S: I swear if you don’t!
S: Yah! Please!
(30 minutes later)
S: Eun?
S: Yash! Are you mad at me?
S: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
……..
Oh God… Sehun… What did he need?E: Sorry, I was getting ready for the dance.
S: YASH! Finally!
E: So what did you need?
S: Um… Just telling you… The dance date got moved to Monday instead of Friday… so… I was letting you know that you should get ready soon… But looks like you already did.
E: OMG! RLY?! I’m glad I did.
S: yup! Did you go with Xiumin hyung?
E: Yeah
S: Oh…
E: Who is he going with?
S: No one, he doesn’t have a date
E: Wait what?!
S: I know! I’m trying to find him one but he won’t let me! Anyways… ttyl!
E: Bye~

I quickly ran outside of my room and saw Soo staring at her dress. It sure looked beautiful.
“Soo!” I yelled.
“What?”
“The dance date got moved, its Monday next week!” I said.
“OMO!” Soo screamed and ran into her room.
“What’s up with her?” I looked at her, confused.

We didn’t do much on Sunday, Soo and I stayed home and watched a movie, Soo also called Chae over.

Chae was so sweet and I absolutely loved her, and I guess that Soo is not mad at her anymore~
“Chae-ah.” I said.
“Yeah?” Chae glanced over.
“Did you know Kai and DO both like you?”
Chae nodded, “Um… I guess since Soo also told me the same thing.”
I gave Soo a high five.

“It’s so obvious though.” Soo said.
“I mean… We’ve lived for 300 years… We can tell who likes who. It’s something that Kuhimos does.”
“300?!” Chae said with disbelief.
“Yeah…” I nodded.
“I’m only 280 years old…” Chae signed

Soo and I laughed, “It doesn’t really make much difference.”
Chae nodded, “True…”

“So…. Who do you like more?” I asked, “Between Kai and DO.”
“I…. Don’t know…” Chae shrugged.
Soo smiled, “I would pick DO, he’s nicer.”
“Me too.” I added, recalling that Kai has always been mean to Soo and I.

So it’s finally the day of the dance, right after school I rushed home with Soo and started to get prepared.
I put on my dress and curled my hair… But I’m missing something…
Makeup… Which is something I definitely could not do…

“EUN!” Soo shouted from the living room.
“WHAT?!” I yelled back.
“CHAE IS HERE!”

I rushed out of my room and saw Chae standing in our house looking stunning in her dress.
“OMG! CHAE!” I screamed and hugged her.
“She’s hear to do our makeup.” Soo said.
“You are such a life saver! You don’t even know…”

After about 15 minutes Chae finished both of our makeup.
Soo looked absolutely gorgeous… And for the first time, I felt like that she kind of looked like me…
Then I looked into the mirror… Wow… I was shocked…
I never knew I could have looked this way… Chae’s got magic in her…
I mean… She already does have actual magic… But I mean… Makeup magic…

My phone buzzed and it was a text from Sehun.
S: Eun, come out. I’m here.

“GUYS!” I screamed, “SEHUN IS HERE!”
“Geez… Eun, no need to be that excited…” Soo sighed.
“I mean… Come on Soo! It’s my first dance with a wolf!”
Chae laughed at us, “Good luck Eun! See you after the dance, or maybe during~”
I waved good-bye and grabbed my coat then ran outside.

Sehun’s car was parking right outside of my house, so I slipped in next to him.
Sehun smiled as he saw me, I smiled back.

“Eun-ah! Why did you bring a coat?” He asked.
“To surprise you with my dress later…. And…” That’s when I noticed what he was wearing, a baggy and brownish ugly suitish jacket with a super ugly pink tie, “What are you wearing?”

“What? My clothes to the dance? What else could it be?” Sehun laughed.
“Oh God you must be kidding me…” I rolled my eyes with disbelief.
“Well… SORRY, if I disappointed you…” He made a sad face.
“I didn’t mean it that way… It’s just… Let’s go…” I sighed.

Thanks Sehun for ruining my first dance experience.

We arrived at our school at 8 PM, I got out of the car and so did Sehun.
“Sehun-ah… Are you really gonna wear that?” I asked, hoping he could change his mind.
Sehun smiled, “What do you think”
“Please say no… We can get you a suit real quick… I mean…”
Sehun chuckled and turned around, letting me face his back.
Then he took off his ugly baggy jacket… Wind was blowing… My hair was blocking my face.

I quickly shoveled my hair out of my face and there he was… His ugly baggy jacket was gone, instead…. He had a super cool and nice-looking suit on and it absolutely looked stunning and flawless on him.
Sehun smiled charmingly, oh Sehun…. Stop…

“Wow… You…” I was so surprised that I didn’t even know how to speak…
He laughed, “You really think I’m gonna wear that to the dance?”
I smiled at him, my heart beating fast, “Um… Not really…”
“Well…” He fixes his tie, “Why don’t you show me your dress?”
“Almost… When we get there, surprisingly it’s kind of cold tonight.”

We walked to the entrance of our school’s ballroom, everyone’s eyes were on us.
Some whispered, “Yah! Isn’t that Sehun the wolf prince?”
“I know! And who’s that girl?”
“I heard she’s a kuhimo true blood.”
“Kuhimo true blood? What does that mean?”
“It means her family is the royals and she inherited special power.”
“Ugh…”

(Sehun’s POV)
“Eun, you’ve got to take off your coat.” I whispered.
She nodded, then took off her coat.
I was soooo shocked how good she looked in the dark blue dress.
It dress faded to white at the end, it kind of resembles her…. Thinking of that she controlled moon…
My heart was beating like crazy....
Stop it Sehun! You can’t like a Kuhimo…. It’s just not right!

Eun puts her arms around my arm and we entered into the ball.
In a private University like this, they usually have a cool ball room like this.
It was very grand and big, my father and uncles paid for the buildings in the school so the teachers and professors treated us as if we were gods…
But I hate that feeling… That feeling of people fake adoring us just to get paid more…

My phone ran, it was from Baekhyun.
“Hello? Baekhyun?”
“Sehun-ah! Soo and I are here. Chae and DO are coming.”
“Really? Where are you guys?”
“We just entered the ballroom, and how about you?”
“We’re at the drinks section.”
“Okay, we’ll meet you there.”

Eun looked around looking very surprised and happy.
“This is so different from the high school dance.” She said.
“I know right? Let’s grab some wine.”
I handed her a cup of wine, and she took a sip.
Awww…. How cute…

“Sehun!”
I turned around and saw Baekhyun and Soo walking towards us.
“Soo!” Eun smiled.
“OMG EUN YOUR DRESS!!!!” Soo screamed.
“I KNOW AND YOURS!!!” Eun screamed too and the sisters hugged each otehr excitedly.
“Where’s Chae?” Eun asked.
“Oh she’s coming.”

“Baekhyun, is Xiumin hyung coming?” I ask.
Baekhyun shrugged, “He said he might, I’m not sure.”

(Eun’s POV)
Soo’s dress was absolutely goals she looked like a goddess.
And with Kuhimos’ natural beauty she is literally… I can’t use words to describe.
Baekhyun also looked amazing with his suit, even though he was shorter than Sehun, but he is still extremely handsome.
I hope he’s not mad at me anymore… I mean… He’s been ignoring me.

“EUN! SOO!”
It was chae, running as fast as she could in her heels, DO was behind her smiling and looking super happy.
“Guys! OMG EUN YOUR DRESS!”
“THANKS!” I smiled, “And wait a minute… Didn’t you guys already saw my dress”
“We did?” Chae and Soo asked.
“Oh whatever…” I laughed.
“Guys, there’s a slow dance going on right now, let’s go.” DO suggested.
We all agreed and went to the main dance ball with our dates.

We were so closed to each other…
Almost touching… Our steps moved along with the rhythm.
I can almost feel his soft breathing, his arms wrapped around my back.
Our hands holding…
And yes… We’re dancing… Sehun and I.

“So… How are you feeling?” Sehun asked as he smiled charmingly.
“Um…. Pretty fun.” I smile back.
“Do you like the food?”
“Yep, they were really good.”
“How about the wine?”
“I’m really not that into wine.”

That’s what we did throughout the dance, facing and staring at each other, talking about random things.
“Eun, you’re warm.” Sehun said.
“Oh thank you….” I said, “Wait… What?!”
Oh no… Oh no I’m not… WHY AM I TURNING WARM?I’m not suppose to… I mean… Kuhimo’s blood is cold… I mean… Not until we find true love.
That’s a secret within the Kuhimos that no other creatures know.
Oh God… Soo is gonna find out, mom and dad is gonna find out. My brothers are going to find out… Oh shoot…
And most important of all… I betrayed the law, I can’t be in love with Sehun! He’s a wolf!!But love is just something we can’t control… I’m hopeless...

“What’s wrong?” He asks.
“Oh nothing… It’s just after this can I go outside and you know… Just chill out… It’s too hot in here.” I lied.
“Alright, why don’t you let Soo and Chae go with you so you don’t get lost?”
I nodded, ugh…. WHY DOES SEHUN HAS TO BE SO SWEET?!

After the song, we all gathered around.
“Eun, are you feeling sick?” Chae asks.
“I’m fine.”
Chae reach her hand out for my forehead, “Oh God it’s pretty warm.”Soo stared at me strangely. Oh shoot… Kuhimo’s forehead are never hot whether they have a fever or not… She must have found out.
“Let’s go outside.” Soo said.

Soo, Chae and I ran outside.
We walked into the garden in our school and breathed the chilly air.
It felt soooo nice~
“Chae-ah, can I just have…. A private talk with my sister for a moment?” Soo said to Chae.
“Oh sure~” Chae smiled as she walked away.

“EUN! Your warm!” Soo whispered.
“Yeah… I know.”
“Sehun?”
I nodded guiltily.
“.....”
“Soo?”
“The truth is….” Soo gave to her arm, I touched it… It was as warm as mine…
“Soo?!!! Are you also?”
“I’m guessing it’s Baekhyun.” She whispered as quietly as she could.
“This is not good.” I said.
“I know… We have to--

“AH!”
Someone screamed and interrupted Soo.

I turned around with Soo.
It was Chae, and there’s someone behind her.
