Welcome to the Freakshow

"So, where are you guys looking to go?" Seungkwan asked, slinging his backpack over his shoulder.

"She needs to go back to... Erm..." Hoshi turned to me. "What do they call your dimension?"

"Uhh..." I frowned. "Well, my planet is called Earth,"

"Ahh," Seungkwan said, smiling slyly. "I can take you to the portal. But I can't apparate from here, it's being monitored. Come with me,"

We followed Seungkwan as he walked through the tall green grass towards the stream. We walked along the shore, towards the waterfall, until we were right beside it.

"Be very careful," Seungkwan warned us, the disappeared behind the curtain of crystal blue water.

Josh grinned and followed him. Hoshi turned to me, holding out his hand for me to take. He lead me towards the waterfall, and we walked carefully behind it, towards a small crevice in the wall. Hoshi walked past it, telling me he'd follow me in.

I turned sideways and began to shimmy in. It took a few moments to pull my lower half out, but once I did, Hoshi appeared quickly behind me.

"Grab onto me," Seungkwan told us, holding his arm out towards me. I gripped his elbow and felt Hoshi's arm across the small of my back. "Ready?" Seungkwan asked, and we all nodded. "You're going to feel funny. Do NOT let go, I don't want to lose any of you somewhere you shouldn't be." He advised. "Okay. One... two... three!"

I felt a tug from Seungkwan's arm, and my stomach lurched. Everything around me began to swirl faster than I could comprehend, so I closed my eyes. A few seconds later, the spinning stopped, and I was hurled to the ground.

"Jesus Christ," Hoshi's voice came from beside me, and I turned to see Hoshi and Josh lying on the grass with me. "I never want to do that ever again,"

Seungkwan walked over to me and helped me stand shakily up. "You'll get used to it," He said. "Come on, we still have a ways to go,"

"Hey!" An angry voice came from behind us, and we turned around to see a group of 4 pale men watching us. They all wore matching black suits, black shoes, and a black top hat.

"You just apparated!" Another Man In Black shouted.

"Shit," Hoshi said under his voice.

"What do we do?" Josh whispered.

"Run!" Seungkwan shouted, turning away from the Men In Black. Josh, Hoshi and I followed suit, and we ran towards the surrounding forest. I heard the shouting voices of the Men In black as they ran after us.

"This way!" Hoshi yelled, veering off of the path and ducking under branches. I turned my head to see the Men In black gaining on us.

"We can't outrun them!" Josh yelled. "Seungkwan, you have to apparate!"

"Follow me!" He shouted. We began to run back towards the field we had initially ended up in. As we broke through the final layer of trees, I heard a thud, and Josh grunt. Continuing to run, I turned my head to see him face plant into the ground. I bent down, grabbing his upper arm and hauling him to his feet. He shoved me towards where Hoshi and Seungkwan were standing, waiting for us. Hoshi already had a hand on Seungkwan's shoulder, his other arm outstretched to me.

"Go," Josh growled, nodding with his head towards them.

"What-" I started, but he turned away from me.

"Fucking go!" He snarled as he turned. I turned and ran the rest of the way, grabbing onto Seungkwan's elbow, and turned to see what Josh was doing. He seemed to be using his mind to tip pine trees into the path of the Men In Black. It didn't stop them for long; they climbed over the tree trunks and scrambled toward him at full speed.

"Josh!" Hoshi yelled impatiently.

Josh looked back at us, a worried look on his face. He turned back, bowing his head slightly, and three trees ripped themselves from the ground, flying at full speed towards the Men In Black.

"We can't wait for him," Seungkwan muttered. "We have to go,"

"No!" I yelped, dropping Seungkwan's elbow and trying to run to Josh, but a hand gripped my wrist. I spun around to see Seungkwan holding it, a pained look on his face.

"I'm sorry," He said.

"Just wait!" I pleaded, turning back. Josh was now running at full speed towards us, losing the remaining Men In Black in his trail. "He's almost here!" I shouted in excitement, but then all of the air left my lungs, and as things seemed to become slow motion, I saw it.

Soaring through the air behind him was a small, sharp silver object; a knife. A Man In Black had thrown it after him, and it was aiming directly at his rib. I screamed his name, reaching out my hand to him. He jumped towards me, arms outstretched, and I began to feel a pulling sensation from my wrist. He wasn't going to make it.

All of a sudden, time seemed to speed up, and everything began to spin. I felt something crash into my arm so hard I thought the bone would break. A few seconds later, my feet slammed against the ground, and I fell onto my hands and knees onto moss and brown grass. I shoved myself back up and looked around desperately to see him, lying lifelessly on the ground, surrounded by a puddle of blood.

"Josh!"
