So Much for Being Siblings

"You like someone?" Jimin asks again with a shaky voice. Just then the school bell rang in the courtyard, signaling all students to report to first period class.
"Ah. Jimin~ The bell rang. We have to get to class." I tried telling him. I tried to take advantage of the fact that the bell just rang and tried to change the conversation. But Jimin was not buying it. He grabbed my hand, preventing me from running away.
"You didn't answer my question. It's not that complicated. Who do you like?" Jimin questioned, once again raising his voice, showing his impatience.
Tears formed in my eyes. Not because Jimin was acting mean or acting stubborn. But because of the fact that I felt like this with a person that was going to be my step-brother.

"Why do you make me feel like this?" I said under my breathe as I bit my lip, trying to stop the tears that threatened to show.
Jimin's hand was suddenly yanked off of mine. I looked up to see who the intruder was. But there wasn't one intruder. There was two.
It was Suga and Sadako.
Suga looked like he was about to kill someone. He gave Jimin a death glare and threatened, "Jimin. You may be my best friend. But if you make her cry, I'll have to do what I have to do. And I'm one hundred percent sure that it won't end well. Trust me, Jimin.”
Sadako and I exchanged worried looks. Suga's treats were never fake. He always means what he says. And if this was true for the circumstances I was in right now, it wouldn't look good.
Jimin, who now had the same killer look in his eyes replied to Suga with a unwavering voice. "I can say that same for you Suga. I warn you to still out of our business. You have no right to stop me. Kana and I were simply talking. After all, we will be siblings soon."
Jimin's expression immediately turned sour after said his last sentence. As if he was hurt when he reminded himself that he and I were going to be siblings.
Sadako, sensed the tension rising, broke between Jimin and Suga, and grabbed my arm.

"Now boys, as much as I want to watch this live k-drama here, the bell rang, and we are going to be late. Now if you two will excuse Kana and I, we will be heading to class. Thank you."

*Later on*
My friends and I were sitting at our usual lunch table. Hee-Young and A-Yeon blabbering away. Sadako was casually eating her fries with ketchup as Linda and I were chatting.
"So, are you and Jimin getting any closer?" I asked Linda with a playful smirk on my face. Linda sighed and shook her head. “Nope. Don't you see? We don't even talk that much.”
While Linda and I were busy talking about Jimin, we heard a gentle cough.
Sadako.
“I'm…not sure if this is the right time to say this but….You know I hate guys right?” Sadako started.
Hee-Young and A-Yeon both instantly stopped blabbering. Linda and I both were looking at her with an intense gaze, waiting for her to continue.

Why? Because Sadako doesn't talk about guys. If she has to, she refers to all guys as BASTARDS. She doesn't call guys, “guys”. It's always an insulting nickname. Sadako hated every guy. She always thinks that guys ruin friendships. She always tells us how there were so many girls that were best friends but ended up liking the same guy and their friendship ended. This was what had caused Sadako’s hate and grudge against all guys. So hearing Sadako saying the word “guys”, caught all of our attention. Because this happens like every other blue moon.

“I hate them… most of them.” Sadako continued.
All of it eyes widened.
A-Yeon gasped and said, “OH MY GOD. Sadako…..are you trying to say that…”
“I like a guy.” Sadako said.
And…
The rest of us screamed our heads off. Everyone was excited. Hee-Young and A-Yeon were literally jumping in their seats, unable to sit still.
Linda grabbed Sadako’s hand and said, “Finally! Sadako, you FINALLY have feelings for someone! We were all afraid that you would never learn to like a guy!”
Hee-Young leaned over the table and asked the question everyone one of us had in mind. “Who is this charming guy that was so attractive that he was able to steal YOUR heart?”

“Suga.” She said.

I'm re-uploading this chapter because there were a lot of grammar mistakes, typos etc. I know I only caught a few mistakes and that there are still many mistakes in the chapter, but I swear that I tried. I'm just a sucker at proof-reading. TT^TT
