Old acquaintances

Chapter 7

You looked at the handsome and cold faces expectantly, waiting for them to say something.
What could they possibly want from you?
“Soo…”, you recognized Chanyeol`s deep voice and flinched at the sudden talking of him, since you were so deep in thought.
You looked at him, the fear in your eyes strongly noticeable and waited for him to talk again. He only shot you a small glimpse before looking at Jongin soliciting.
You still were a bit startled by the fact that you saw all of your good friends ,except Yixing, sitting together at this table, obviously enjoying seeing you suffer.

Since no one said anything for a longer time and only watched you being scared, you decided to give it a shot and asked them what you were doing there and what they wanted from you, since you thought you couldn´t offer them much.
“Well you know something that you shouldn´t know and so it´d only be fair if we got to know something that we shouldn´t too, wouldn´t it, darling?”, Jongdae grinned at you creepily and was happy to see your eyes widen in fear.
To them it wasn´t hard to act all nice and friendly to gain your trust as your “husbands friends”, in fact it was really easy since you hadtrusted people easily.
And since they knew you that well, it was easy for them to scare you more than your creepiest nightmares- and was exactly what they were doing right now:
you feared the dark and since you had seen a horror movie with them, you feared creepily smiling men and them calling you “darling”.
They made everything into a nightmare for you to corner you mentally because they knew that you wouldn´t fulfill their request easily.
It was a request that would violate your views of life…

Jongin was the first to really talk
“Well”, he started and then licked the corner of his lips, thinking about what to say next, “you probably wonder what we want you to do now, aren´t I right darling?”, flashing you the signature smirk of his.
You were confused and terrified because everyone was calling you “darling” and smirking or smiling at you.
“Ye-Yes.”, you could only stutter out.
“We´d like you to, well how do I put it?”, Jongdae questioned wetting his curved lips with his tongue, thinking “To work with us.”
You frowned in confusion.
You saw all of them smiling at your frown from the corners of your eyes, you knew that they loved to startle and scare you which startled and scared you even more.
“Wh-What does that mean?”, you finally questioned.
When you looked up after no one answered you were once again met with the cold stare of Baekhyun.
It was the kind of stare that made you uncomfortably squirm in your seat and made you feeling watched the whole time.
After shooting Baekhyun a look of confirmation Junmyeon answered you
“You already know what our business is, that´s why you´re here.”, he said back to you making you feel dumb.
“Oh .”, was all that you can say while welling in your embarrassment.
“And how can I help you with that?”, you asked after successfully fighting the urge to cringe.
“We need some kind of visual to lure our new customers.”, Kyungsoo made clear.
“A-and I´m supposed to be that visual?”
“Yes, darling.”, all of them said in unison while smiling eerily.
