The roads were empty, and street lights were flickering when we got home. No one were in sight, except the two of us. He followed me to the front door, taking slow steps to make the moment last longer. It was cold outside, but the warmth of his hand was enough for me. We didn’t say anything, but only stole small glances at each other. But it was nice. It was nice to hold his hand, and walk beside him while our shoulders touch now and then. It reminded me of childish love, the way we act when we are around each other. But just because it isn’t mature love, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t real love. We reached my front door, and looked at it with a sigh leaving our lips. He turned me around, so I was facing him. He pulled me closer and leaned down. His eyes were on mine the entire time. While I was looking at his brown orbs, the butterflies came back to my stomach. A feeling I always get, when he’s about to kiss me or just when he’s close to me. I tip toed, pressing my lips against his. Sadly, our beautiful moment didn’t last long. The front door opened, revealing my mom who had a shocked expression on her face. We jumped away from each other in shock. The door quickly closed, and we allowed each other to breath. I didn’t expect that to happen. Taehyung were awkwardly scratching his neck. Before he left he gave me a quick kiss, before running over to his car. I ran up to my room in embarrassment. I changed my clothes, and jumped in my bed. Face landing first. I was about to take my phone to check, but I didn’t. If he cared about me, he would have called, he would have texted me, he would at least have seen my messages. But he didn’t. He pushed me away. It’s really hard to just let go off someone, you have befriended since you were little. Letting go means to forget. But I can’t forget. I spent almost all my life with him, and just to suddenly let go isn’t as easy as turning off a switch.
‘I was wearing a black t-shirt, that didn’t even belong to me. I took Kris’s shirt. We were wearing matching outfits. Black t-shirts and dark blue jeans. We just got our summer vacation. I was sitting in my room doing nothing, when Kris called. And somehow, he managed to get me outside. Right now, I was glaring at Kris who was holding a water gun laughing at me. He didn’t even get a drop of water on him, not even a single one. My water gun was full, while his were almost empty.
“KRIS ISN’T THAT BAEKHYUN?!” I screamed.
He looked back, and I ran towards him with full speed. I had my water gun ready, and when he turned around again, to look at me. I started splashing water on him. Now it was my turn to laugh. His face looked so funny, I thought he would at least have expected it. Baekhyun was one of Kris’s friends. He was a part of his ‘squad’. They were nine in total. The thing I found funny about them, is that they call themselves Exo. What does Exo even mean? I never asked him, and don’t think I will anytime soon. His black shirt was almost glued to his stomach, and his sleeves were uncomfortably sticking to his arms. It looked so funny. People who walked past us, gave us either a judging look, or smiled at us.
“yah, Méimei! (little sister)” he yelled.
Kris keeps calling me Méimei, since we see each other as siblings, more than best friends. I stuck my tongue out, which made his pout turn into a smile. The sun shined brightly, as we laid down on the grass. Both exhausted, after the water battle. We looked at the shy, and pointed towards those, who had the shape of something.
“Kris, look it’s a cat!” I said pointing towards the cat-shaped cloud.
He looked at it with smile.’
