Mom left the room, leaving me and Taehyung alone. But I didn’t let go of the hug, but I hugged him tighter. He hugged me back, making small circles on my back. The room was silent. I could hear the rain drops on my window, the sound making me calm, but the ugly crying sounds that were escaping my mouth was almost as loud. He followed me to his bed, laying me down with him. I could hear his heartbeat. My head resting on his chest. Thump. Thump. Thump. I could clearly hear his heartbeat. It was calming. I laid on top of him, and looked into his beautiful brown eyes. But what he saw wasn’t beautiful eyes, like what I saw. What he saw was red puffy eyes, that looked tired. I was tired. I was tired of crying. I hate dragging him into my problems, he probably didn’t even care. Did he? But it didn’t matter know, all that matters is that he’s with me.
“go to sleep, you look tired” he said softly.
I nodded and rested my head on his chest again, slowly closing my eyes.
‘where is, he taking me now, and why am I wearing a blindfold? I really don’t understand this boy, sometimes.
“Stop whining, is not like I’m going to kill you” he said with a laugh.
“Fine~ but hurry my legs hurts” I whined.
My legs were going to fall off at this rate, how long have we been walking? Maybe over an hour? But I’m still very tired. It’s been a tiring day, all the assignments we have been doing, and preparing for the exams. It’s just a very stressing time, for all of us right now. My feet touched something, soft? It was tingly against my ankles. It was a nice feeling. It reminded of the times, me and mom would walk into the forest, picking flowers for-
“Okay we’re here” he said happily.
I took of the black cloth, that was tied around my eyes. I squinted my eyes, welcoming the light. That’s when I realized where, he had taken me to. It was beautiful. He made a picnic, or kind of. There was a white big blanket in the middle, with a cake that said ‘happy birthday Nari’, there were lots of pillows and fairy lights. Around that there were flowers. Different kind of flowers. There were rose, purple, red, blue, white etc. I was so happy, I was going to spend my birthday with Kris.
“Don’t cry Nari, I know I’m the most perfect best friend ev- “
I hugged him so tight, he was the best friend every one wished they had. And I was lucky to get him.
“I love it, thank you so much” I said still hugging him’
“NARI WAKE UP! THERE IS A FIRE!!” Someone screamed shaking me violently.
I woke up startled and rushed downstairs, not caring about that person at the moment. I ran downstairs almost tripping over my own feet, and continued running outside, in the cold weather. The cold ground touched my bare feet, it was still wet from the rain earlier. I was freezing. I looked at the house, but no smoke was coming out. I peeked my head inside, and saw mom, dad and Taehyung holding a cake. How can they hold a cake when there is fir- oh.
“Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Nari~. happy birthday to you~” they sang.
My lips curved into a big smile. I forgot it was my birthday.
“Thank you” I smiled.
They placed the cake on the dinner table, and we began to cut the it into slices. Mom and dad was in the dining room, meanwhile me and Taehyung were in the kitchen. We sat at the counter and began eating the cake. Legs dangling, while we talked. It’s tasted so good. He kept teasing me about how I ran really fast, and stuff like that. But I’m finally twenty.
“Taehyung how old are you?” He never told me.
“I’m twenty-one” he said smiling.
Ah~ I was afraid that, he was really old. Some people look young, but are really old. I went up to my room, took a quick shower and changed my clothes. Taehyung told me he would take me somewhere. So, I was really excited, since he didn’t tell me where. Only because I love surprises. We went outside to his car, and he started driving. I didn’t know exactly where, since I was blindfolded. He turned on the music and we were soon jamming to, bang bang bang by Big Bang.
“BANG BANG BANG!” We both screamed, as they sang.
The car came to a stop, and I stepped outside. It was cold, but I didn’t mind. Taehyung grabbed my shoulder, and gently pushed me forward.
“Wait here, you can take the blindfold off when I tell you to” he said and walked away.
Did he really just leave me alone? Nah he’s probably beside me, somewhere. I wonder what he’s up to. Maybe he w-
“YOU CAN TAKE THE BLINDFOLD OFF NOW!!” he screamed.
I lifted my hands, and undid the blindfold. I blinked a couple of times, to adjust to the sudden light. When I did, I was surprised to see what he did. There he was. Sitting on a couch, in the woods, holding a teddy a bear. Behind him there was big bold words that said, “Marry me?” it was really bright. I ran over to him, but he stopped me from hugging him.
“Wait, before you hug me” he said smiling.
He placed the teddy bear on the couch and kneeled down. He took out a small navy blue box. He slowly opened it revealing a silver ring, formed like a crown.
“Will you be my princess, and marry me?” he asked.
