Chapter Three : Slaughter

Eunmi rushed down the empty hallway, the bell had just rung twenty seconds ago and she was late. She already had two warnings, this would be her third and she'd most certainly get detention. All of a sudden a very cold red liquid covered her entire face, soaking her hair and dripping down her neck, staining the button-up white uniform shirt. She looked like she'd just been stabbed, red liquid covering her entire face, neck and shirt. Two girls, Baek Ho's very own Tzuyi and Yerin, stood laughing both holding cups. They rushed away quickly, leaving a shivering and utterly mortified Eunmi standing there alone. Eunmi felt the familiar prick of tears in her eyes, so she rushed towards the girls bathroom, clutching her books towards her soaked clothes. Suddenly, a hand grabbed her forearm and yanked her into the men's bathroom. Eunmi let out a quick Yelp of panic. Who is this, a rapist? She shut her eyes, backing into what felt like the edge of a sink. A pair of hands grabbed her books and dropped them. She let out a shaky breath, afraid her open her eyes. "Yah, no need to be scared," A deep but gentle voice said quietly. Eunmi cracked one eye open and was met with a pair of dark chocolate eyes framed by thick lashes. She let the other eye open to examine the boys entire face. It was well sculpted, big doe eyes, straight nose and fuller lips. She recognized him as a member of Baek Ho, but wasn't sure if his name. "You pull me in here to further embarrass me, you can forget it mister," she said firmly, shoving his chest away from hers. "Well I am not going to do anything, I promise. I saw what those girls did." He laughed humorlessly. Eunmi rolled her eyes. "You mean Tzuyi and Yerin? Didn't know they had such a creative flair. Thank them for me," she said sarcastically. "No, but I'll apologize for them. They can be such brats, kids these days. And I wanted to help you."
"Is that why you pulled me in a men's bathroom? To help me? I'm pretty sure I can change by myself thank you," Eunmi scoffed, turning to leave. The unnamed boy grabbed her arm again and pushed her back against the sink. "I'm not sure you want to go out there." He chuckled. Eunmi narrowed her eyes. "What? Why?" He didn't say anything, he just lowered his gaze on her chest. Eunmi felt a blush rise on her cheeks, quickly replaced by a flush of anger. Why was his pervert staring at her chest? She had nothing flashy! "Why are you staring at my chest?" She asked angrily. He looked up again. "Your shirt. Kind of transparent." Eunmi turned to look in the mirror and gasped. Her shirt was red stained and sticking her chest, where you could totally see the outline of her breasts, and it was that moment Eunmi regretted wearing that see-through lace bra. Her hands immediately flew up to cover it, making the boy laugh. Her face turned pink knowing this boy had practically seen her exposed front, but thanked God he didn't. "Oh my god, dammit, your friends caused this. I'm....," she stuttered, her mood souring by the minute. "Yes, I'm sorry. But I have something that might fix it." He reached into his backpack, which Eunmi hadn't seen laying on the floor. He pulled out a uniform jacket, plain navy blue with a white stripe around the sleeves and a name tag reading "리 재 - 힌 ". Eunmi's face paled. She can't wear a boy's jacket! What will her friends think? What will they say when they find out about the Baek Ho prank? More importantly, that she's wearing a Baek Ho boy's jacket! "No, I can't take this," Eunmi said, shoving the jacket back towards Jaehan. "Yes just take it. It will be better than you walking around almost exposed. Imagine the looks." She contemplated for a second before asking: "Why are you being so nice to me?" He glanced at her for a second, hesitating. "Why can't a boy be nice to a girl?" - "I need to get to class, return it anytime," Jaehan added, picking up his backpack and opening the door, tossing the jacket and waving. Eunmi caught it and stuck her head out of the door, watching him walk away. He paused before turning the corner, sending her a playful wink. She ducked back inside, clutching the jacket to her chest, face red. She watched herself in the mirror, splashing some cold water on her face, before slipping the oversized jacket on her tiny body. She was only 5'2', the boy must be at least 6'0'. She put her hands on her face and smiled to herself. Maybe not all Baek Ho members were that terrible. Slapping her face gently, she smoothed the jacket and picked up her books. Glancing in the mirror once again, she hoped that her friends wouldn't notice the jacket later. Or anybody else. Sighing, she left the bathroom, peeking both ways to make the coast was clear. On the bad side, she was over twenty minutes to her class. Mr. Chang would not be happy. Eunmi groaned. What a terrible day this was turning out to be. She neared the classroom, bracing herself for the embarrassment she would be facing. Her hand rested on the doorknob, gently twisting it. The door creaked and swung open on the hinges, slamming against the wall, startling the students and Mr. Chang. "Well if it isn't Ms. Cho. Thank you for finally joining us. We thought you might've fallen in the toilet or something," Mr. Chang said annoyed. The students laughed. Eunmi one-overed the class, seeing all the eyes on her, which made her break into a cold sweat and nervously stammer; "I'm sorry Mr. Chang-sshi. I had something come up and I needed to take care of it." He rolled his eyes. "I don't care, Ms. Cho. Just go to your seat," he mumbled, turning to continue writing on the blackboard. Eunmi sighed and saw an empty seat next to one of her best friends Chanri. She left to walk down the small aisle, the seat was in the back, and could clearly hear the hushed giggles and whispers circulating the small room. She set down her books and plopped next to Chanri, who looked up from writing notes. "He-," she started out but saw a flash on red from where Eunmi's, no Jaehan's, jacket raised showing her stained shirt. "Ugh, long story, tell you later," she mumbled, tucking a piece of hair behind her ear and opening her Biology textbook. And what a terrible, miserable feeling came over her when she noticed that her notebook was missing. She must've left it in the bathroom. "Let's start with Eunmi," Mr. Chang said suddenly. Her eyes flickered up. "Please read your notes from chapter three, Ms. Cho," he said smugly. Ugh, she's so f*cked.
