Chapter 4 : Nightmares
Light crept through the curtains, slowly revealing the bare face of Ayionna. She covered her face with her blanket, but that didn't help her at all. She groaned as she slowly opened her eyes.
Ayionna's POV
My life is going to be turned into an absolute nightmare as soon as I arrive at school. Who knows what'll happen next after all her and her minions spared the war between us. This war will continue until she figures out who the boss is around here, which is me. I smirked as I stared at my ceiling, kicking the blankets off my body as I slowly lifted my body off my bed. Today is going to be a long day for me, they aren't going to stop bothering me until I surrender and bow down to them which will never happen. The smirk never left my face until I went over to my bathroom taking a glance into my mirror, bruises all over my stomach and some on my face. 'I'm not even going to bother putting makeup over it, they were going to see my bare face one day..' I thought. Yeah, nobody has actually seen my bare face only my family and Minji, and the reason why is because I always thought I was really ugly although my family and Minji told me I was beautiful. I just didn't feel like it was true, but now that I look at myself in the mirror I look different and strange... thinking I look pretty. My mind keeps recalling the moment when Youngjae took a hit for me and helped me out.. my cheeks became a scarlet red as the moment kept replaying in my mind.
My body started to heat up, as I felt butterflies in my stomach, this weird sensation that I've always felt for the guy I had liked. He makes me feel weak whenever I see him, his voice, his smile, everything about him I like... but it's one-sided love. I quickly turned the shower on, stripping my clothes, and jumping into the shower letting the water hit my body as I felt refreshed and new. I put my uniform on, styling my hair into a messy bun and then putting on some chapstick, grabbing my bag and heading downstairs. "Morning Appa!" I said with a bright smile as I sat down at the table with the food in front of me.
"Morning Ayionna, how are you?" He asked as he kept reading his newspaper. My mom came to the table putting down the last dish and sitting down, noticing my face.
"Oh my gosh, Ayionna are you okay? What happened to your face!!" She asked with concern as she held my hand, my dad put his newspaper aside, his eyes wide open as he saw my face.
"It's fine, just some girls at school." I simply replied as I started to eat my food.
"It's obviously not fine Ayionna! You have bruises on your face. Are you sure your going to go to school with no makeup on?" My parents asked me as they looked at me worryingly.
"Yes, I'm fine. Just leave it alone." I shook it off quickly finishing my food as I looked at the time. I grabbed my bag and put on my shoes heading out the door. "See you after school! Love you!" I shouted as I shut the door, and started to walk to school. Before I arrived at school, I quickly put on my face mask that kpop idols usually wear, and then walked through the entrance, feeling everyone's eyes on me and hearing their whispers to their friends. "Isn't that Ayionna?"
"Why is she wearing a face mask?"
"Didn't you hear? She got into a fight with Kim Eunjoo and got seriously hurt."
I came across Youngjae and his group of friends, he looked at me with concern in his eyes wondering if I was okay. I simply nodded, heading towards my classroom. 'Kim Eunjoo huh? Ugly name for a ugly person.' I smirked as that thought popped into my head. "Don't mess with me Ayionna. You started a war with a lion and you better be ready." Eunjoo whispered as I passed by her desk, she stuck her foot out again as I just walked over it.
"I'm perfectly fine with this war that I started, I'm the tiger and I'm going to dominate you and show you I'm the boss around here." I smirked as I finally sat in my seat. She stood there shocked as she heard the words that came out of my mouth. My smirk stayed on my face but hidden under my mask.
Couple minutes go by~
The teacher walked into the room, running later than she usually does. "Ayionna, I'm sorry but your going to have to take that mask off in class." She said as she was about do her daily announcements and start the lesson. I groaned as I slowly took off my mask and ruffled my hair as I looked at towards her with fire in my eyes. Ugh.. now everyone is going to see my face, I quickly covered my face as she started the announcements. Whispers were head from everyone in the class. 'Everything is going to become a nightmare from now on.' I thought as I shook my hair with frustration. Someone pulled my hair from behind quickly with force and then pulled their hand away, as I looked behind they smiled at me, I recognized them as one of Eunjoo's minions. My eyes were burning with fury and anger, "Don't mess with me, bitch." I muttered under my breath, "Otherwise, your going to get it." I turned my attention back to the front of the classroom. But she kept at it, pulling my hair with force every time the teacher wasn't looking.
Class ended and the teacher left the room and I pulled her by the wrist dragging her to the bathroom. "It hurts quit it!" She whined as I finally let go once we reached the bathroom.
"You think you can mess with me? I told you to back off and you still wont." I pushed her after every word, having her pushed up against the wall. "I started the war, and your making it worse." Suddenly Eunjoo and her other 2 minions appeared walking up to me, "I'm going to make you life into a living nightmare." She started to punch me in the face, pulling my hair as her minions punched my stomach. This moment is going to repeat isn't it?
