The beautiful smile of yours.

“Hwanee!” I screamed, sitting up straight, sweating. I looked around, noticing that I wasn’t home. Everything was pure white. Wait, I know where I am. I can’t forget this sick smell. I’m at the hospital. I looked beside me and noticed blue flowers, my favorite color. A small smile found its way to my lips. How did I even end up here?

“You’re finally awake,” Woohyun-oppa said, walking in.
“Ne, but how did I end up at the hospital?” I kept looking around confused.
“You fainted at a book store café,” he said. I slowly nodded, trying to remember everything that happened. I went to the book store and saw MJ before we talked. But what happened after that? Did he do something? Nah he’s like a walking sunshine, he could never do anything like that.

Believing my own words, I let it slide. Woohyun-oppa said I could leave after eating the food the nurses gave me. I finished it quickly, and grabbed my jacket. We walked side by side to the car, talking about random things. He opened the car door for me and began to drive. Once we reached the house, we stopped chatting. We went to our own rooms in silence. I changed my clothes to something more comfortable. I don't understand the dress code in our school. You’re not allowed to wear a tank top, but you must wear those short skirts. Ugh. Sighing loudly, I threw myself on my bed.

I just want to sleep but if I sleep, then the memories will just haunt me. I grabbed my laptop from my nightstand, and began reading stories online. It got boring fast. I walked to the kitchen, grabbed a snack, and went outside for a walk. The clouds disappeared fast, and it was getting dark. I went past big trees and, before I knew it, I was in the forest. I was too lost in my thoughts to know where I was going. Great, Areum, just great. I sighed and tried to find my way back, but ended up getting more lost. I sighed and took out my phone. If I called Woohyun oppa he would kill me, and I don’t have any friends who can help, that lives in Seoul. I only have 6 people left. I decided to call Moonbin, since I didn’t know the others that good.

“Hello?”
“Moonbin, can you help me? I’m lost in the forest and it’s getting dark.” I whispered into the phone.
Immediately, he asked a lot of questions like "where are you? how did you end up there? are you okay? are you hurt?" and said he would be there. He also said something about tracking me or something. I ended the call and looked around; it wasn’t scary but it was cold. I leaned on the big tree behind me.

“Yah! Areum-ah, come on! It’s going to be fun!” Donghae-oppa exclaimed.
“But I don’t like the woods, it’s so scary!” I responded, clinging onto his arm.
He gave me a smile, making me feel safe. Donghae-oppa always wanted to go exploring places and, today, he chose the woods. But he didn’t go exploring places far away, he liked doing it in the neighborhood. We went further into the clusters of trees, not looking back once.
“Areum-ah, can you stay here for a sec?” he asked.
I thought about Hwanee and refused to leave him. Still following him, I saw him take pictures of the beautiful flowers. He picked one and placed them in my hair. I smiled at him sheepishly, giving him one too. He began coughing and I gave him some water, not giving much attention to it. We started to walk again, but back to our house. But there was one problem; we couldn’t find our way back.
“Oppa, I’m scared” I said holding onto his arm.
“Don’t worry, Areum-ah,” he said, giving his warm smile.
I nodded believing his words. Suddenly, he began coughing again. I was about to continue walking until I saw blood. No, I thought, not him too, I can’t lose him too.
“OPPA! B-BLOOD!” I screamed pointing at his mouth.
He looked shocked and touched his lips, staring at the blood on his hands. I began yelling and calling for help, but, as always, no one heard me. He collapsed falling to the cold dirt, blood running down his mouth. I took out his phone, calling the ambulance. They told us that they would find us by tracking our phone. Thank god. I saw the end of the woods and tried to drag him there. It worked but we didn’t make it. I fell onto the ground scraping my knee. Tears streamed down my face. It wasn’t because it hurt but more because I didn’t want to lose him. I stood up with my bleeding knee and continued dragging him. We made it out of the woods but he began to bleed more. More blood came out of his mouth and nose.
“Oppa, don’t leave me. You told me that you will protect me, that you will stay beside me. YOU TOLD ME TO NOT WORRY!” I cried out.

Someone poked me awake. Damn, Moonbin is fast. I turned around and found out it wasn’t Moonbin, but more of a creep. He pinned me to the big tree and tried kissing me. I kicked him, where it would hurt the most, and ran. I don’t know where but I ran as fast as possible. I saw Moonbin walking towards me, while I was running towards him. Mr. Creep was right behind me, so I took Moonbin's hand and ran with him. Not having enough time to explain, I ran towards the ‘exit’ of the forest. I let go of his hand, after we lost him. I placed my hands on my knees, catching my breath or trying too. I looked to my right and saw Moonbin doing the same position. We finally started breathing normally, and headed home. I found out that he ran here, and that he found me by tracking my phone. I don’t know how, but I guess I should be thankful.

“Areum, I want to talk to you about something” he said and stopped walking.
He looked serious, his eyes are shining. Wait, are those tears? Is he about cry?
