[FRIDAY] The next morning came. Ryan had the weekend off so he went to visit Lila and Kai at their new house that they moved in a couple days ago. He went there to talk to them and bought a house warming gift. While Lila and Kai were in the kitchen unpacking the boxes and placing them in the cabinets, Ryan talked to them sitting on the stool where the island table stood.

Ryan : the house looks beautiful guys.
Lila (*asks) : it is, isn't it ?
Kai (*says to Ryan) : Lila picked it out and i just said yes.
Ryan (*jokes & asks) : does that come in a package when you got married ?
Ryan (*asks jokingly) : is that you have to say yes to everything she likes ?
Lila : hey. It's not everything. We agreed together, ok.
Ryan : but forreal, the house looks amazing.
Lila : thanks.

Kai realizes that something is off with Ryan since he was sitting there staring into space. Kai was worried for Ryan and then asks him…

Kai (*asks) : you alright ?
Ryan : i've been thinking since last night.
Lila (*asks) : about what ?
Ryan : about the lake house.
Kai (*asks) : what about it ?
Ryan : i'm thinking of visiting the lake house this weekend. Just to keep my mind off of things.
Lila (*asks) : this isn't about Jane, isn't it ?
Ryan : she's been on my mind lately too but i try to avoid it.
Lila : and you can't.
Ryan : right. For the first time since Lonna passed away, i've felt love again when i'm with Jane.
Ryan : but i don't think i can ever feel that way with her again if she's not here with me.
Ryan (*asks) : do you think i went too far in yelling at Jane for what she decided ?
Kai : her decisions are what made her who she is. What she decided is what she wanted.
Lila (*asks) : do you want to know what she told me ?
Ryan (*asks) : what ?
Lila : she said that she could talk to you about anything and not get judged for it.
Lila : she didn't know at the time that you had the same feelings for her.
Lila : you two are meant to be together.
Kai (*asks) : so why are you holding back and not going to her ?
Ryan : i don't know where she is.
Kai : maybe you should go where it all started.
Ryan (*smiles & says) : thanks guys.

Ryan left the house leaving Kai and Lila to talk.

Lila : i hope he’s okay now that he talked to us about it.
Kai : he’s Ryan, he’ll get through it.
Lila : i want both him and Jane to be happy, that's all i want for them.
Kai : they’ll come to a realization that they love each other.
Lila : i just hope so.
