EXO Undercover

"Excuse me," June struck up a quick conversation as she began to chop her cucumber, "where did Kyungsoo and Chanyeol go?"

"O-oh," Luhan's eyes frantically looked around, "that, that, that is, erm-"

"Personal errands with the some of the other guys," Kris interjected as he forcefully opened the fridge door, "they'll be back with some Chinese takeout." He took one of the two cartons of milk out and slammed the fridge shut.

"O-oh, okay. By the way," June wondered out loud, "are you going to drink all of that? Would you like a glass?"

"No," Kris patted Luhan's head before chugging some down, "real men drink out of the box." When he left, Luhan, too, grabbed a milk carton and followed after Kris. It was a lazy late afternoon. Some of the boys seemed to have disappeared while the others stayed in their bedrooms. Luhan and Kris were the only two she had seen today, but it didn't bother her too much. After all, the mansion continued to be perfectly peaceful.

June didn't like Mondays. That is, before she moved in. After quitting all but one of her part-time jobs, she had more free time to do what she always wanted to do. I finally get to relax. She placed the vegetable back into the fridge, the knife back into the sink, and the cut cucumber slices into a bowl before heading from the kitchen back into her room. On her way there, she passed by several old family photos of the boys and sighed.

It must be nice to have a large family. I wonder what everyone is up to, June thought to herself as she placed the cheap store-bought face mask over her face, is it possible to always be working? Once the mask was plastered on, she laid on her bed and set the veggie slices over her eyes. That, or they might just be playing games and watching TV. It must be so nice to have so much money to spend on. There are twelve boys, right? I wonder why they always refer to some of them as the "Chinese unit". Maybe they're celebrities! Or is it, perhaps, the parents are? June shot back up, letting the cucumber slices slide off her face.
She grabbed her small phone nearby and typed a name. Maybe I should buy a new phone. This is one is outdated and slow. Oh! Oh? Nothing comes up for 'Song Joongki' or 'Song Hyekyo'. I will have to ask them later. Politely, of course.

Strangely, there was a sudden knock on the door. Who could it be?



"Target spotted at the northside," Baekhyun whispered into the hidden mic on his collar, "I repeat, target spotted at the northside. Dumbo, do you see him?"

"He took two right turns and one left," Xiumin commented, peering over the high platform from the building he was on.

"I've got my eye on him," Chanyeol responded loudly, "I am approaching the target. I repeat, I am approaching the target-"

"Goddammit, you guys," Kyungsoo smacked Chanyeol once Chanyeol walked over to him, "just let me pee alone!"

"Crap!" Chanyeol defended himself, holding his arms in front of his face, "The target has spotted me and engaged into fighting mode. What should I do? Suho? Joonma?"

"Let him go to the damn bathroom, Chanyeol," Suho replied, watching Kyungsoo beat Chanyeol with his binoculars. Suho, Xiumin, and Chen were on the rooftops while Chanyeol, Baekhyun, and Kyungsoo covered the ground. The empty abandoned factory was almost quiet but not eerie. He could hear faint shouts from Chanyeol and Kyungsoo yelling at each other. Although they argued often, they worked well when in hand-to-hand combat.

"We have intel that the actual targets will be arriving in thirty seconds," Chen typed away on his laptop, headphones on his neck and a classic sniper by his side, "Baekhyun, they will be by the third storage house at your left side."

"Copy that," Baekhyun answered. Suho spotted the member's small figure slowly hustle from building to building.

"Yo! The drug dealers have a nice car. Can we ride it after?" Chen questioned.

"No," Suho stated, "we have to report back to the Song agents."

"Dammit," Xiumin sighed before focusing on the task at hand, "drug dealers are headed to Section 3C."

"On it," Chanyeol whispered, "D.O is still busy, by the way."

"Just give me a second," Kyungsoo mumbled into his mic, "I can't rush this."



June waved to him, "hello, Sehun." Please leave quickly. I'm in the middle of something.
"Hi," he shoved her a small artwork into her hands, "keep this for me. I can't let my girlfriend see this."

"This is so cute! Who made this?"

"Some girl in my grade."

"Are you in middle school?"

"Yeah."

"I hope you make good memories with everyone in your grade. I got too caught up in my own personal issues-" June paused, "anyway, make good memories."

"A-alright then. I'll be going now. You can continue with-" he looked at the fallen cucumber slices, "-whatever you were up to."

"Oh!" June blushed behind her face mask, "see you then."



"You've got to admit," Baekhyun placed his hands on his hips, "that was one heck of a show."

"Good job everyone," Xiumin applauded as the team met up again at the factory, "next time, we should bring toilet paper for D.O."

"Let's go home already," Kyungsoo grumbled, wiping his dagger with a handkerchief, "I'm tired."

"And I'm Suho," Suho joked, "alright, let's get going."

"Wait, guys," Chanyeol interjected and pointed at everyone's dirty clothes, "how do we enter our own home without letting June see us like this?"
