"You should try reading all the pages at like super fast speed and then POOF you'll have all the answers."

I sighed to myself. Listening to my friend come up with ideas to help me study was really tiring. "Kim, as fun as that sounds, I don't have a really awesome memory like yours so I'd just forget everything the next day. "

She frowned and continued to eat her lunch. I, on the other hand, couldn't eat. I had a huge test in science to study for but I'm really bad and science. So bad my C- could turn into and F- if I don't study properly.

I stared at the lunch room ceiling with a blank expression. Maybe all I need to do is go to the library and just...study. Oh but the library is so boring and the teacher doesn't like me because I spilled some orange juice on her rug. It really wasn't my fault but she wont let me near that place now.

During the free period, I made my way to the library (after carefully sneaking through the door so Mrs. Case didn't see me). I went to the Science and Health section to look for the books I needed. "Okay Y/N all you are three books from this section and one book from the other. You can do this don't worry. Oh, and if you pass tomorrow's test I'll buy you some noodles with rice cake!" I said to myself. I have a habit of talking out loud, my mom blames my dad.

"Are you talking to yourself?"

I turned to see a boy with blonde hair and a facial expression that read "Is she okay?". "Oh umm, no I was reading the title of this book, it's really long."

"Can I see?" He asked with a smirk.

"No, anyway I'm Y/N I haven't see you around the school."

"That's because I'm always in the library, I'm JinJin."

Just then I got a great idea. If JinJin spends a lot of time in the library then he must be book smart, so maybe if I ask nicely he will help me study! Well, it's worth a try.

"JinJin I have a favor to ask you. I know we just met and all but I need you to help me study for my science test because I'm really bad at science and I know that maybe-"

"Okay I'll help you but you have to treat me to some of that noodles and rice cake you were talking about."

"Deal!" We shook hands making it official.

He then helped me pick all the books I needed, after telling me that the books I thought I needed actually wouldn't have helped me at all. That was awkward. We sat in the back after I told him the library teacher story and began studying.

While we studied JinJin did this cute thing unknowingly where he just started talking about science and using big words I didn't understand. Not that I'm complaining it was adorable. Also when he would read out the science book his hair would slide over so I couldn't see him, which was even cuter. I should go to the library often.

We spent the entire break practicing and minus the time I spent daydreaming about JinJin I actually learned a few things. We said our goodbyes and he said to meet him here tomorrow to see how I did on the test.

The next day I got to class with the happiest smile. I spent last night studying all the things JinJin taught me to prepare for the test.

"Well, class," The teacher started. "As you know the science test was canceled due to some incorrectly printed questions."

I quickly raised my hand. "But, I spent all yesterday studying."

"Well, Mrs. Y/N, there was an e-mail sent out to all the students before yesterday's free period. My apologies."

After my third class ended I marched right to the library to get JinJin. The second he saw me he smiled a devilishly adorable smile. "So how was the test?"

I plopped down on the chair in front of him and pouted. "You knew it was canceled didn't you?"

"Maaaaybe."

"JinJin! Then why did you tell me?"

"Hmm well, if I did then it would have ruined the study date, don't you agree?"

I blushed slightly. "Oh yea, good point."
