The Elements.

It was 11 PM, you were just getting ready for bed until the boys came bursting into your room, you glanced at them.
"What do you guys want?" You asked. "Jin wants us outside." Taehyung spoke. You nodded at him and as you walked past him, something rushed up in your body. You didn't think anything was wrong, it was just a spark of adrenaline.
Your eyes starting turning a pale blue, you could feel the cold run through your vein, you weren't even outside.
Why do I always get adrenaline when I'm around him?? You quietly thought to yourself. But you had to watch what you said in your mind because Jungkook could enter your mind if he wanted to.

You ran downstairs into the hallway that led to the front door to the outdoors. It was very cold. But you were used to it now, so you would be fine in a t-shirt and leggings.
As you made your way a little into the snow, you saw Jin standing with 3 people. You looked at them closely, there was a woman in a long white dress with green-blue eyes, then there were 2 boys.
One had gray hair just like Yoongi, then one had black hair with pitch black hair, his jaws were sculpted. Jin's mouth opened, "Introduce yourselves to them, please."

"I'm Minah." The girl in the dress spoke.
"Baekhyun." The gray haired boy spoke, his eyes shot bad glances at me.
"Daeil." The black haired boy said.
[HALLA POV]
"I need to see Halla." Baekhyun spoke, I eyed him, I looked back at Jin and he gave me a half-smile and a slight nod. I sigh and walk towards him and walk into the woods with him.
I was scared, I didn't know what he was capable of.

I looked back at Hoseok, he was the closest to me in the group, he gave me a thumbs up, reassuring me it'd be okay.


[Taehyung POV]
I watched as Baekhyun called her to him, I eyed him down, honestly, he seemed like he couldn't be trusted. But whatever. Jin began to speak, "You will be testing your powers out here, 2 of The Calvary members are with you, if you have questions, ask them, or me. You all start school in 2 weeks, you're being put in another city so no one knows your identity. You also DO NOT tell anyone what you're capable of, or you'll be exposed, even killed. Is that clear?" I nodded at him. He sounded rough, didn't question it.

"Taehyung, you're first." Minah said, glancing at me. I smirked, "Okay."
How hard can this be?

"Also, you'll be fighting Daeil." She smiled at me, I went blank. "Are you kidding me?" I glanced at her. "Nope." She chuckled as she motioned Namjoon to come forward to battle her.

I backed up against Namjoon, both of our opponents across from us.

Daeil clapped his hands together, I slid back as the wind pushed me back, I opened my hand, flames were generating, I shot my hand at him, fire hitting him, he was able to counter it by sliding the wind to the side.
I then heard a blood-curdling scream. It was Halla. All of the members didn't seem to hear it, for they kept fighting.

I latched my hand back at Daeil, I grabbed him by his jacket, I was able to melt the snow around me since I found out I could manipulate the temperature and fire, I slid my hands up his torso, setting his body on fire. I broke off into a run when I had time.

"Halla!?" I yelled.

I heard another scream, it wasn't as bad, but it sounded like she was getting hurt.
I walked through the dark woods, it was night after all, the only lights we had were torches and lanterns in the trees.
"Halla!" I yelled. I heard her scream my name, I rushed West, that's where it was coming from, I found her covered in some type of dark orb that chained her up to the tree.
Dammit Baekhyun.
"Halla, are you okay?" I asked, I didn't wanna touch her with my fire, it could hurt her. We're polar opposites. Literally.

"Get me away from him. Before I kill him." She heaved.
"Halla! You can't kill the dude, if you kill a Calvary member, they'll send someone after you to pay. Where is he?" I asked. "I froze him, it was to get him to stop me! He put me in a black blob, I couldn't see or breathe!" She yelled. Her pupils were dilated. He must've scared her.
I created a little flame on my palm so I could see, I saw him a couple feet away. I put the flame up beside him, melting the ice off him.
"Why were you hurting her!" I pushed him.
"It was to make her stronger, back off." He spat at me. "You can't make her stronger by torturing her, dumbass." I said. "I can do what I want. We're the ones that save your ass from being exposed. Show some damn respect." He said. "You don't get respect when you hurt one of our house-mates. Release her. She can fight Minah." I said.
"Whatever." He snapped his fingers, she fell from the tree onto the ground. She curled up a little, she was clearly in pain. Her breathing pattern was messed up.
"What the hell did you do to her! You clearly didn't just surround her in darkness, you made her see shit."

I pushed him up against the tree, I could feel the fire burning through my veins, my iris was starting to turn orange at the anger and I activated the flames, I burned him until he gave me some answers, I was shot at the chest by his magic. I dropped to the ground heaving. He poisoned me just by touching. He pulled me up by my hair, "Yes, I did put images in her head that weren't real, but they were to help her conscious to become stronger, something you need too." He swung me. I blasted flames out my hands, throwing him back a couple feet.
I picked up Halla and ran to the yard. I had to be careful that my hands didn't make contact with her skin, I was scared I'd hurt her.

"What's wrong with her?" The boys started asking me, "Nothing, Baekhyun played mind tricks. She's traumatized, she'll be fine, I'm putting her in the house, she can do this another time." I said.
They all nodded at me as I carried her up the hallway and steps into her room. Damn, her room was nice. I set her down on the bed and covered her up. I sat in her room just incase she started acting weird.

I sighed and looked around at her room, she even had a hot tub.. She was lucky she got the cool room.
"No fair." I muttered under my breath.


I saw Halla starting to move, she opened her eyes, she was trembling. I looked at her, "It's okay. Nothing that you saw happened." I said in a low tone. "I'm fine." She muttered. "Obviously not." I said.
"Taehyung, can I ask you something, sorry if it might sound impulsive." She said. I nodded, "Yea, sure."
"Do you ever feel sparks of energy when you pass me or I pass you?" She stared directly into my fading-orange eyes. I nodded slowly, "Yea, I do, and I don't know why. You're like some damn energy source." I said. "Wow, you make it seem like a bad thing." She half-heartedly laughed at me. "I'm not saying it's not, but we're polar opposites, I'm heat, you're ice. Maybe it's because we have that opposites attract thing I don't know." I stated. "I wanna ask Jin, he probably knows." Before she was about to get up, you could hear them all come inside, they all ran into the room.

"Oh my god, Halla are you okay?! What happened!? What Baekhyun do?" They all asked. "We just had a dispute, that's all, his intensions weren't what I thought they would be. I could've killed him if Taehyung didn't show up, he put images in my head, they traumatized my consciousness to the point I didn't know what I was doing anymore. I saw Taehyung and he basically saved me. That's really it." She was shaking again. Something wasn't right. She wasn't telling the truth about something. "I need to talk to Jin."
She got up and went downstairs.
I went down to the 2nd downstairs to the pool area. I was fine with water, I think I had control of when and how to use my powers. I just think around Halla I have to be careful. She's like a baby, she's the youngest, she's pretty fragile put aggressive, she doesn't know how to control her powers. So that scares me.

I threw my shirt off and slid into the pool. I laid against the pool wall, trickling my fingers making the water ripple. I looked up at the door opening,
Yoongi walked in, "Is there something already going on between you and Halla?" I blinked at his words, "What do you mean?" I asked.
"Like.. are you two-" I cut him off, "No, if you think we're in a relationship, that's not the case." "Okay, cool." He said bluntly. "Why is that cool?" I asked, "Because, I may want her." He smirked at me. I raised my eyebrow, "Tch. Okay, like she's gonna go after a guy like you." I eyed him. "Why wouldn't she?" He asked sarcastically, well I replied with the truth, "Please Yoongi, you only get with a girl to say you've gotten in their pants. Halla is just 19, she's 3 1/2 younger than you, I know that's not far, but still. That's not cool." I smirked back at him. Before I tried to say something else, he erased all the air from the room, he could breathe, but I couldn't. I transported out the pool.
I threw my shirt back on, the heat circled through my chest again as I raised my hand up, I pushed my hand toward him, I kneeled down, I couldn't breathe. He was suffocating me.

Luckily Jimin came in and pushed Yoongi into the pool, making him recirculate the air back. I gasped for air. Jimin's eyes went dark as he glared at Yoongi, "Dude, learn what jerk means." He sneered at him. I walked out the room, I was infuriated, and I knew if Yoongi was going to say some smart shit to me I was going to light him into flames.

I passed Halla in the hallway, energy sparked through me again, I just shouldered past her. I kept walking until I reached my room.
Yoongi's a damn idiot if he thinks he's going to get Halla.

Luckily Jin had a gym, so that's where I let out some steam. Boy, punching the shit out things will help.

[Halla POV]
I was going to go to the pool but when I saw Jimin lifting Yoongi out the pool by just moving his finger and repeatedly throwing him to the ground, something went off. "Jimin, stop!" I said, hitting him. "Halla, calm down. He deserved it. He could've killed Taehyung." He growled at me. I blinked, "Kill Taehyung? What the hell, Yoongi? What'd he do to YOU?" I emphasized at him.
"Oh please, princess, don't poke your nose in something you don't wanna get in." He smirked at me. I scoffed and walked off.

Luckily I found out why energy shoots through my body everytime I pass Taehyung. It was because we're bonded together. We can manipulate the temperatures, that's why. Also, for the fact that we have opposite elements that are supposed to be enemies, but we're not. We're bonded through elements. We're actually the most powerful out of this group, but I can't do anything about it because I need to learn how to control my powers.

I made my way to the lounge room, I sat down on the couch and watched tv. I heard footsteps, I turned around to see Yoongi. I turned my head back towards the tv. He sat beside me, I already felt a bad vibe. I kept my eyes on the tv, but I felt his hand go behind my back. My blood was boiling. "Yoongi, what are you doing?" I asked. "Nothing much, how about you?" He smirked at me. "Stop being sarcastic and blunt and listen to the words coming from my mouth, you. scare. me. I don't want to be around you, you hurt Taehyung!" I sneered at him.
"Oh, please, princess, you know I wouldn't do that." His face moved closer to mine, I slid back. "Yoongi, stop." I felt his hands rise up on my neck, my breathing pattern switched, my heart was beating out of my chest, as his hand went up to my cheek I laid my hand on his wrist, I froze him.

I got up and jumped from the sofa, I tried snapping my fingers to unfreeze him, and it worked. I ran up to my room and locked the door.

Stay out.

I'd just like to say, I'm trying my best to improve and make the story make sense and more mature for you all. I'd also like to thank the voters and subscribers and those of you who like this story. I will do my best to keep improving not just for yall, but myself too. I re-read my chapters all the time and always say, "what could I have done better" which makes me really sad. But I hope you guys comment that you like the story. It'd make me feel better. But anywho, that's not mandatory ^^.
