Fighting for V

An unexpected meeting

After having found a cheap motel in some suburb to Seoul and settled down, she’d originally intended to go take a walk in the city-centre, but her thoughts had been occupying her mind too much, and she wasn’t able to relax. Not only was she dead-worried about V during the whole cab-ride, but she’d also had a very… Interesting experience during the ride, and she’d met someone very important. Trying to calm her mind, she lay down on her bed, and tried closing her eyes. She also suffered severely from jetlag, so falling asleep wasn’t any big challenge. As to what she dreamt, it was merely a recap of what had happened on her ride to the motel.

Her phone buzzed, as she was notified of nearby cheap motels. Luckily, there was one with an empty room in a motel named “Seongbae Motel” in a suburb of Seoul named Ichon-Dong, also known as “Little Tokyo”. She’d managed to book a small room, where she’d be staying until she found V – The price was good enough for her to be able to stay for a long time. The Taxi-chauffeur was in a super good mood, and very talkative, so while she was looking excitedly and anxiously out of the window, taking in every essence of Seoul. Seoul smelled like every dream she’d ever had about the capital, and the city was beautiful. It looked like something straight out of the future, and as she questioned every building and every monument, the taxi-driver, who was named Mr. Kim, gladly told her everything about every little thing in great detail, and it was one of the best lessons she’d ever received from anyone. They turned around corner and corner, and every small part of the great city was more interesting and new to her than the previous one, and she tried sucking in every view and impact the city had on her. Except for the occasional calls from her family and friends back home, wanting to know where she’d gone, she felt at ease and peaceful. She’d promised herself she would call or write them back as soon as she got back to the motel and had slept well, but she was worried she wouldn’t be able to. What would she tell them? “Sorry, I ran away because my favourite singer had been kidnapped, and I think I can find him, since I know a lot about him!” – she definitely couldn’t tell them that, and most of them barely understood her love of Kpop to begin with, so she’d have to make something up.. Pushing the thought away, she decided to keep her focus on the city. Outside she saw how the people of Seoul just calmly walked around, minding their own business. There were families with children, businessmen, and kids running around. It felt so peaceful, despite the huge amount of people and traffic making noise in the busy capital of South Korea. As she was looking out the window to her side, the chauffeur suddenly stopped up, causing her head to hit the back of his seat.

“Ouch!” She shouted, which startled the taxi-driver.

“No worries, my lady. There’s just seems to be a minor fault with the car, nothing serious. I just had to stop up, since the sound the engine was making, was starting to worry me. I’ll just go outside and check the engine, and call a colleague if it’s something I can’t fix. Don’t worry, I won’t charge you for this, and you will be compensated for the time it takes. Please wait a few minutes, I will be back in a jiffy”, he said, before leaving her in the cab, and going outside.

As she was sitting there in the cab, packed in the roadside, she started dozing off, and closed her eyes. She suddenly felt very tired, the jetlag hitting her like a hammer, before the door was knocked open, and a young man entered and sat next to her, quickly and nearly shouting “Take me to this address!” as he shoved a piece of paper into her face. She quickly opened her eyes with a gasp, and took the paper, taking a fast glimpse at the address that was written down on it. She recognized the address – She was pretty sure it was the address of the headquarters of some bureau…

Wait…

This was the address to JYP Entertainment. She assumed it was another kpop-fan, wanting to go there to go idol-spotting, and merely, while still looking, down in the paper, mumbled:

“Wait, first of all, I’m not the taxi-driver, I’m a customer. And secondly, you cannot just go to JYP Entertainment to meet your favourite idol. That’s a bit creepy, and you should really-“

She looked up, and time suddenly froze. Right in front of her, was a very familiar face. Or, not the face of anyone she’d actually met before, but the face of someone she’d seen countless times. In music videos. And articles.

She didn’t say anything, but merely stared at him, with her mouth widely open and her eyes as big as 8-balls, in surprise. It was Jackson from Got7. Her heart skipped a beat, as he sat there, looking at her in deep confusion.

“Y-y-you… You are…” She stuttered, having switched back to her native language Swedish, as she always did when nervous. Jackson looked at her with an even more confused face.

“So, is this a taxi or not?” he asked, nervously scratching the back of his head. He lifted up his hand, taking a quick look at his wristwatch, realizing it was getting late.

“I have to go… I’ll find another cab,” he mumbled, opening the door and running away.

Minutes passed, before the cab-driver came back and told her that the issue had been solved, and that he’d drive her to the hotel now. Agga was to shocked to respond. Her head was spinning, and she could barely breathe or comprehend the fact that she’d just met Jackson. It was too good to be true, and he’d been much handsomer than she’d ever imagined.

The cab drove her to the motel, and she jumped into the bed falling asleep…

Agga woke up with a shock, and looked out the window. It was morning, and she’d managed to get over her jetlag. The sun was risen highly on the sky, and it looked beautiful outside. Today would be the first day of her investigation. Her investigation for V. She had to find V. She had to fight for V.
