"i am so happy for you" dahyun said.

i smiled, "thanks, have you heard anything from yg?"

dahyun shook her head sadly and said, "no, i think this dream of being a yg idol gonna be tattered into pieces, i am so untalented."

dahyun and i decided to audition for yg entertainment two weeks ago but we still hadnt received any news. To pursue my dream further, i decided to give JYP entertainment a shot, just to try my luck, and i got selected. Dahyun decided not to because she strongly wanted to be in YG.

"maybe they still need time to sort out those who auditioned." i assured her.

she forced a smile.

i decided to not tell dahyun about jaebum. just not now.


"mum, i am home!" i called out while entering the front door.

"hayoung, i got good news!" mum exclaimed while walking out of the kitchen.

"me too!" i said

"you first" i added

mum smiled and passed me a letter, "you got selected to be in colombia uni, its the most prestigious one,"

i handed over the letter. i wasnt planning to go colombia to pursue my education. i wanted to stay here and pursue my own dream.

"i just got accepted into jyp entertainment" i said.

mum pursed her lips and sighed.

"hayoung, i want you to be smart, being a kpop idol is not permanent, you know the risks. you cant last long in a company, you know all that right." mum said while touching my hair.

"i understand, but i really really want to pursue this dream." i said.

"i don't about the dream. we are expected to return a letter to colombia uni by september. you got 3 months to think about it." mum smiled and left.

i didnt know what to do.
