In China
Luna's P.O.V.
I woke up to see Jessica still sleeping soundly beside me. It's almost 6am, I usually don't sleep a lot so I wake up early even if I don't need to. I came down from the bed and saw Tao still sleeping and he even is lightly snoring. I walked to the bathroom to freshen up and get ready. When I came out, I saw Xiumin awake.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"To get coffee."
"Can I come?" He was looking down at the ground.
"If you hurry your butt up and get ready," I replied teasingly. He quickly made his way to the restroom. After seeing Tao yesterday, he looked more happy but I know that it's still killing him. It's weird but me, Tao, and Xiumin used to pack extra clothes for each other. I still do for Xiumin but I'm not sure if he does it for me nowadays. I went to my suitcase and grabbed out a pair of jeans and a blank white t-shirt to give for him to change into. I walked over and knocked on the bathroom door when I hear no more water running.
"Yes?" he responded.
"I have some clothes for you to change into. Just stick your hand out through the door."
"Okay. Thanks!" I turned around when I heard the door open and quickly shoved his clothes into his hands. I sighed once I heard the door close.
"Ready!" Xiumin shouted as he came out.
"Shhh! The others are still sleeping!"
"Oppsies!" He gave me his apologetic pout.
"Let's go," I said as I push him forward, towards the door.
"Do you have the room key?" he asked just in case.
"Of course. Do you have your wallet?"
"Never go anywhere without it," he stated as he pat his back pocket.
"Here you go." I placed a cap onto his head and grabbed the other for me. They both were actually his but he keeps on forgetting his caps at our dorm so I now have a huge collection and I don't actually own any cap of my own.
"Thanks." We exited and made our way through the never-ending halls and finally got to the elevators. It was quiet the whole walk since we didn't want to disrupt the people that were still sleeping. I also don't think that we have anything to talk about. I came out of the elevator behind him and the lobby was fairly empty. Since we both have our caps angled downward, I was pretty sure that it was safe enough. No one even know that some of EXO are even in China yet. There was a coffee shop right across the street so we made our way over.
The street was quite busy and I suddenly felt Xiumin's warm hand on my wrist as he dragged me through the crowd. We made it to the coffee shop safely and as I got in, I saw some people who seem familiar. I pointed them out to Xiumin to get his approval of going over there to the corner where they were sitting. They were all looking down but I could recognize who they were as I made my way to sit down next to the girl since it was a rectangular table for 6.
"Hi," I said as I nudged her.
"I didn't expect to see you here," she replied.
"I didn't expect to see all of them here," I said as I raised one eyebrow.
"Did you guys order yet?" Xiumin asked as he sat down next to Lay.
"We just got here," D.O. stated.
"I'll go order. The usual, right?" Xiumin wanted to confirm.
"Yeah." We all replied at the same time which cause all of us to burst out laughing. Luckily, The cafe it self was noisy with all of the music playing so no one actually noticed us.
"How was last night?" Suho asked. "Actually, we never got to know what happened last night," he added.
"I'll catch you up later. Everyone is most likely still sleeping," I replied while keeping my eyes down on the the table. When I finally looked up, I saw that Lay and D.O. had a confused look on their face.
"Here you go!" Xiumin came back with all of our drinks.
"So, what are you guys here for?" Victoria aimed it at Suho. I'm guessing that Suho didn't tell her beforehand that he was coming to China also.
"To observe, learn, and expand our skills," Xiumin replied to save Suho since Suho isn't good at lying.
"I also have some shoots," Lay added.
"Interesting," Victoria commented. "Well, I have to go now. See you guys later."
After Victoria left with her half finished drink, we just talked about random stuff. The boys and I have to leave at the same time so they escorted me to my manager. Honestly, I don't even know what I'm doing here in China.
In South Korea
Taeyeon's P.O.V.
I woke up to see that the tv was still on. I was in Baekhyun's arms and I saw Sehun. Amber, and Chen all sleeping in an upright position on the other couch. Kai and Krystal were laying on the flooring at each other's side with a smile on both of their faces. I pulled Baekhyun's arms gently off of my so that he won't wake up and went outside to get some fresh air. After about 10 minutes, I felt Krystal sit down beside me on the steps to the backyard garden.
"How are you feeling?" she asked me.
"Good, how 'bout you?"
"I'm okay, I already know about the whole lie that SM said about Baekyeon just to let you know."
"Oh, it's nothing." Of course she must've heard by now.
"I have a question," she stated.
"Go ahead," I answered.
"How did you and Baekhyun get together?" she asked.
"Actually, I'm not that sure. I mean, me and him weren't close like you and Kai were previously. I guess it was through Girls Generation. I did notice him around the company multiple times and of course, I knew who he was. One night, the boys were locked out of their dorm for about a week since for some strange reason so SM had them stay over at our place. I got to know them better but there was something about Baekhyun that interested me. We ended up talking late at night when I was getting a drink of water and it turned out that we had a lot in common. I guess you can say that we hit it off right away...."
"Wow, that's so nice." She looked like she was still processing it.
"So, why did you and Kai get together?" I asked.
"That was kind of what I wanted to talk to you about. But please don't tell anyone. I want to see how you react to this since I need your advice. And also, I'm scared at how Jessica will be when she finds out." I looked at her in the eyes and saw that she was worried.
"It's okay, you can trust me."
"Hey! There you guys are." I turned and looked back to see Baekhyun, Kai, and Amber at the garden door waving at us. I don't know how long they were there but they couldn't possibly hear our conversation since they were too far and we were also speaking really quietly.
"Let's talk about this another time," Krystal said as she stood up. I could tell that something was worrying her and she was putting on a brave face in front of the others. I stood up and followed her in. Breakfast was ready. I'm guessing that Amber made it since none of the boys can cook this deliciously, except for Lay and D.O. but they were in China. When we finished breakfast and cleaning up, it was almost 9 so Baekhyun and I have to leave. They always have some extra girl clothes in there dorm so I grabbed an oversized t-shirt that just so happened to be Girls Generation related and slipped on a pair of black leggings.
When we came outside, my manager was already there so we got into the car.
"Do you know what you want to say to him?" my manager asked.
"Yes." It was silent during the ride. When we were about 7 minutes away from SM, Baekhyun held my hand and said everything would be alright. I closed my eyes to calm myself down. All of a sudden, I heard a huge crash and couldn't open my eyes so I just let the darkness swallow me up.
In China
Suho's P.O.V.
When we were in the van, the driver took the wrong way. Right when I was about to ask him about that, my phone rang. It was Sehun.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Put me on speakerphone," he demanded. Something seemed off. "Hyungs, you guys are on the way to the airport right now."
"Why?" we all asked curiously.
"Baekhyun got into a car a-ac-cident-t-t." I could hear Sehun start to breakdown.
"How bad is it?" Xiumin immediately asked.
"N-Not-t s-sure. J-Just-t c-co-me-e," he hung up. I looked around to see the others all worried. I searched it on the web but I guess there was something else to the situation so SM covered it up. When we got onto the plane, we were still in heavy disguises but still don't know anything about Baekhyun's accident. I could tell that we all were worried. I really need Victoria at my side at my side right now.
Victoria's P.O.V.
Today was just the script reading so it ended quite early. It was raining so my manager quickly rushed me into the van and I also saw Luna in there, surprisingly. We started to go somewhere.
"What is happening?" I asked, still clueless.
"I'm sorry." That was all my manager said.
I looked over at Luna who looked just confused as I am. A shock hit me all of a sudden and I began to blackout.
In South Korea
Krystal's P.O.V.
I was beside Kai, who was sitting down with his hands covering his eyes, in the ER waiting room. We were in SM's secret hospital in I-don't-even-know-where since they blindfolded us so that it can be kept a secret. I've heard about this place, it's where dirty secrets are buried. If an accident isn't meant to be reviewed to the public, then this is where the injured gets treated. SM started to get dirty about one to two years ago and we all knew the reason why.
Taeyeon just got out of the ER so Amber, Tiffany, and Seohyun followed her. I decided to stay since I know that Taeyeon would want me to for Baekhyun and it's also because I know how Kai could get in situations like this. It's been a few hours since we were taken here and there was still no progress. I patted Kai on the back since I knew that comforts him. He finally got out of the position that he has been in since we came here and laid down with his head on my lap. Chen, Chanyeol, and Sehun were still pacing around the hall. I looked back down to see Kai's teary eyes looking up at me. I could make out him mouthing "I'm sorry, I didn't want you to see me like this."
I heard a sudden rush of foot steps down rushing down the hall and glanced up to see the other EXO members rushing in.
"What HAPPENED!" Xiumin demanded.
"I'm not sure. What I know is that Baekhyun and Taeyeon were on their way to see you-know-who about that Baekyeon breaking up and their car flipped over multiple times." I knew the others didn't want to talk since they were all worried so I decided to inform the rest.
"SM probably planned this," D.O. snickered.
My phone rang and it was my manager. I was about to stand up to take my call somewhere else but Kai pulled me back down.
"It's okay, just take it here," Suho said.
"Yes?" I tried to say it in a hushed voice.
"You and Amber need to come to China."
"Why?" After what happened to Baekyeon, something happening to any of the others will just kill me.
"Just come. I'll send text describing what happened. Your other manager will be there to pick you up in a little bit."
After a minute, I received a text saying:
Krystal and Amber, what I send you will be what is most likely to be printed in articles. This will be made public tomorrow:
Heartbreaking news has reached us regarding f(x) members Victoria Song and Luna Park. As we know, they are both in China but unfortunately suffered an accident during their stay. It was raining that evening and both Song and Park were together in ta van on the way back to the hotel that they were staying in. According to the police, a large truck cause the collision. The driver behind that wheel was drunk and due to the rain, both vehicles could not be able to stop in time. As of currently, both of them are stable but none have opened their eyes yet. S.M. released this statement regarding their health and the future plans:
'Victoria injured her neck and left shoulder which will take months to heal. However, Luna is shown to be in a coma right now. She also injured her right arm. As for now, f(x) members will stay all together in China to make sure that Victoria and Luna has a proper recovery. We hope that you can all wish them the best.'
I put together the pieces in my mind, everything makes sense now. I couldn't believe that SM would do this to Victoria and Luna just to cover up Baekyeon's accident which turns out to actually be an accident and not a staged one. I don't know how long I was staring at my phone screen but I felt tears running down my face. My palms were sweaty so my phone slipped out of my grasp and fell down onto the floor leading an echo through the hall. Kai sat up since he saw my face expression change and I saw Suho picking up my phone.
"No!" I cried out but I knew it was too late, he already saw it. The others started to gather around and I saw Xiumin drop down to the floor and curled up into a ball after seeing it. First he lost Tao, now it's possibly Baekhyun and maybe Luna. He was the most sensitive person I've ever met so I knew that he can't handle it well. I saw Suho gripping my phone tightly in anger, I'm pretty sure that we all knew what SM is doing. When Amber come in, I immediately ran into her embrace.
"How could they do this?" I sobbed.
"Everything will be fine, I promise." She was stroking my hair and I felt her transferring me into Kai's arm after 5 minutes. After a few minutes with Kai, I let go to observe the scene. Xiumin was now sleeping on Suho's lap and Suho was down on the floor with his back against the wall while crying with a blank expression on his face.
I saw our other manager come in and she signaled us to head out. Me and Amber said goodbye to the boys whom all hugged us, except for Suho and Xiumin who are both in no state to be bothered.
We also went to Taeyeon's room and said goodbye to Tiffany and Seohyun and also Taeyeon who just woke up and was crying her heart out.
We let our manager blindfold us and it felt like forever to get to the airport. After out blindfolds were off, Amber and I both put on shades to cover our red and puffy eyes. We also put on a face mask and a cap. Once we were on the plane, I fell asleep right away. I woke up when we were landing and also woke Amber up. When we arrived at the house that me and Amber were to stay in for who-knows-how-long, I saw Jessica on the couch waiting for us and immediately broke down. All of us did in the end.
In China
I woke up to feel that my neck and left shoulder were stiff. I saw a doctor come in.
(V for Victoria and D for Doctor)
V: Am I in the hospital?
D: Yes. You injured your neck and left shoulder. It wasn't badly injured but it will take a few months to fully heal since your neck is sensitive.
V: Okay. But I feel like something's missing.
D: We did run a scan and test while you were sleeping and saw that there is a problem with your memories. You seem to be forgetting some of what happened in the past but it should come back.
V: When?
D: Slowly or not at all. (With that, the doctor left.)
I lied, I overheard my manager telling the doctor to tell me that so that SM can trick me. They want to regain my trust which will make the other members also back down. I remember all but I will play along since it gives me an excuse for Suho. It gives me a chance to change my past.
