What Needs To Be Done
Anger
Amber's P.O.V.
"How could they do this?" I heard an angry Baekhyun shout. I made my way out of the kitchen since I was done setting up the table for dinner and saw Baekhyun in a standing position and his phone thrown on the ground. I knew something serious was going on since Baekhyun never gets mad. Taeyeon was sitting there on the couch looking down at the ground.
"What's going on?" I asked as I made my way towards them.
"SM, that's what." Baekhyun seemed to have calmed down but I can tell that he's still furious. Taeyeon let me see her phone and I saw the article.
"They went too far this time," Taeyeon stated.
"What are you guys planning to do?"
"I already set up a time to talk to you-know-who tomorrow," she replied. Baekhyun sat back down on the couch and put his hand around Taeyeon.
"Dinner's ready," shouted Chanyeol from the kitchen.
"Go in first, I'll get the others." I made way to go to Sehun's room but he was already out and Chen said that he'll be out in about five minutes. I knocked on Kai's door and shouted over the door that dinner was ready and I heard an "I'll be out soon." I haven't seen Krystal during the entire time I've been here but I guess she'll know and come out or is still asleep somewhere so I just made my way to the table.
Kai's P.O.V.
"Wake up," I nudged Krystal awake after Amber called me out for dinner.
"Mhhhm?" She sat up.
"It's time for dinner," I said.
"You go out first, I need to go to the bathroom," she stated as she made way to the bathroom in my room.
"Okay."
I went into the kitchen and took a seat next to Sehun.
"Hi," he greeted. I observed my surroundings, Baekhyun was to Sehun's right and Amber was across from Sehun with Taeyeon at her left so that Taeyeon's directly across from Baekhyun. 'When did Taeyeon get here?' Krystal came out with her hair pulled back and she sat down next to Amber, across from me. Chen came and sat down next to me to my left and Chanyeol came in with the last dish. Since there was already a chair next to Krystal, he sat down there.
We started eating and it was silent. I felt my blood boil since Chanyeol bumped his hands into Krystal's several times. Halfway during our meal when I was carefully observing Chanyeol, Baekhyun's phone rang. It was Suho checking in on us.
"I'll put you on speakerphone," I heard Baekhyun say.
"How you guys hanging on?" questioned Suho.
"Okay," we all mumbled.
"Who is with you?"
"Oh yeah! Krystal, Amber, and Taeyeon," Baekhyun stated with his mouth full of rice.
"What did I tell you about talking while eating?" I heard Xiumin chime in.
"So who is there with you, hyung?" Sehun asked.
"The rest of the boys, Victoria, and also Jessica."
"Yaa Soojung! Why didn't you pick up?" I heard Jessica shout through the phone. "I've called you multiple times."
"Oh, sorry unnie. I was sleeping," Krystal stated back. 'Bad decision' I thought knowing what would come next.
"Where?" Jessica demended being the protective that sister she is.
"Probably with Kai," a clueless Baekhyun said.
"WHAT!" I heard everybody who knew that we weren't actually dating(which is Amber and Taeyeon at the dorm and Suho, Xiumin, Victoria, and of course Jessica in China) shout.
"What's the big deal?" Chanyeol asked, looking around at all of us and confused about the other's reaction.
"Are you crazy!?!" I heard Jessica shout. "We'll talk about it when I get back. Both of you," she finished in a deep, low, and quiet voice. I saw Krystal getting shivers down her back. We finished eating in awkward silence after Jessica hung Suho's phone call up.
The other boys were cleaning while Amber and Taeyeon waved me and Krystal into my room.
"Care to explain to me what Baekhyun was talking about back there?" Taeyeon questioned us.
"Krystal and I actually got together recently," I answered while grabbing Krystal's hand since I knew she is nervous on how the others will react.
"How recent?" Amber asked.
"Technically, today." I dragged it out. I can see the two raising their eyebrows up at me.
"What happened in this room today?" Taeyeon asked.
"Cuddling," I heard Krystal say softly.
"Okaaaay. What I need to know is how you feel about Krystal," Amber demanded.
"We were good friends but I realized my feelings for her a while ago."
"Define 'while'," Amber stated.
"When she was in The Heirs."
"That was a long time ago. Why didn't you confess to her?" Amber seems to be determined to get to the end of my story.
"I was afraid. If she rejects me, what an impact it would be towards our friendship, etc." I looked down at Krystal and saw her slightly blushing so a small smile came onto my face.
"Do you think that you can handle being with her, protecting her, being there when she needs someone?" Taeyeon asked.
"Yes."
"Well, you have our blessing," stated Amber.
"Good luck with Jessica though..." Taeyeon said then left along with Amber. I heard Krystal let out a large breath.
"Let's go out to the others," she said while standing up and leading the way out. Our hands were still intertwined.
Chanyeol's P.O.V.
Finally, they are together! The others didn't know that I knew that SM lied about Kaistal before but I always have a way of finding stuff out. I shipped Kaistal from when I first met them(but Kaisoo kills me!) and I knew that Kai liked Krystal from a long time ago. He was getting so mad and jealous when I kept on bumping my hand into Krystal's that I couldn't help but keep on repeating it. We're watching Miracle in Cell No. 7. Again. Baekyeon was sleeping on the couch after Taeyeon bawled her eyes out(I have a feeling that it's not only because of the movie). Chen, Sehun, and Amber is on the other couch while Kaistal and me are in front of them on the floor. Krystal was in the middle between me and Kai with Kai's arm wrapping protectively around her waist. I looked over and saw Kai giving me his 'don't-you-dare-do-anything' glace so I held both my hands up to protest in innocence. Right then, however, I felt Krystal's head drop down on my shoulder indicating that she's asleep and saw a furiously-jealous looking Kai burning a hole through my skull with his intense stare. I'll admit it, even though Kai is one of the youngest, all of us are scared of him even when he's not mad. Acting quickly and quietly so that she won't wake up, I used my left hand to gently push and place Krystal's head on Kai's left shoulder. He seems to be less pissed right now but I made my way back to my room before something else happens.
I share a room with Baekhyun but I don't think he will be in here tonight. I wonder what's going on in China. I knew that both Luna and Jessica will do what they are doing right now since I am great at reading people, especially girls. However, I can never tell what Victoria is thinking. With what happened back then and all.....
