What Needs To Be Done

Amber's P.O.V.
After Krystal and I landed, when got off of the plane together and headed towards the van. Our managers went to get our stuff. Once we were in the van, Krystal fell asleep right away, she's been really tired these days and the fact that she's 'dating' Kai doesn't help. SM is being so ridiculous, they made Kai and her do photo shoots and even go on a fake date a few months ago. I don't even know what they're going to make them do next. I was interrupted by my thoughts when my phone rang. I looked down at my screen.
Caller ID: Bacon
I picked it up. (A is Amber and B is Baekhyun)
A: What do you need?
B: Are you busy?
A: No, mine and Krystal's schedule are clear for this week.
B: Can you come over for today? None of us can cook very well. D.O. and Lay are in China....
A: So you want me to become your personal chef?
B: No, of course not. Krystal also.
A: Thh!(I snickered). Why don't you ask your girlfriend?
B: She's busy, she told me that yesterday. Plus, we haven't hung out in a few months. Let's just chill out and maybe watch a movie with the others.
A: What time?
B: Now? I mean, it's almost 4.
A: Fine, we'll head over.
I used to hang out with EXO all the time but f(x) and EXO have both been busy so we haven't had the chance to hang out yet. Also, I hope this time won't be as uncomfortable as last time since Xiumin ignored all of f(x), especially Luna. Before, Kai and Krystal were also good friends, joking around and such, but the were barely interacting the previous times I've seen them together.
I informed our manager and we arrived at their dorm shortly after that. I woke Krystal up.
"Krystal, wake up!" I said while shaking her gently by one shoulder. She opened one eye and scanned her surroundings.
"Unnie....why are we here?" she asked tiredly.
"They wanted to hang out and were bored. Also, they aren't able to cook."
"Of course...." she trailed off.
I got off of the van with Krystal shortly behind me. When I reached their door, the door opened before I could even knock.
"Hello ladies," greeted a smiling Baekhyun.
"Hi," both me and Krystal replied back unenthusiastically. Baekhyun moved back to make way for us to go in.
"By the way, Chanyeol's gonna help you with the cooking."
"You do it with him, unnie, I'm going to go sleep." Krystal stated. I left her and Baekhyun and went into the kitchen.
Krystal's P.O.V.
"Where can I sleep?" I asked Baekhyun after Amber left. I'm still tired.
"There's the couch in the living room but of course you should go into one of our rooms."
"Whose can I go into?"
"You should go into Kai's, obviously." He laughed and gave me a wink. I forgot that he didn't know that we weren't dating. I haven't talked to Kai since that night, I'm not even sure if that night ever happened but still, it's best if I go talk to him anyways. I made my way to his room and knocked.
"Come in!" he said loudly. He probably assumed that I'm one of the guys. When I walked in, he was on his bed not even bothering to look up from his phone. It was just him since D.O., whom he shares the room with, is in China right now.
"Hey, I was wondering if we can talk." I said softly. When he looked up and saw me, he jumped out of the bed and placed his phone on the nightstand beside it.
"Of course," he stated while rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand.
"So..."I started.
"About that night," he said what I was about to say. "Were you saying your actual feelings, you weren't still drunk? Or do you want to just forget about it," he let it out so quickly. There was a long pause after that.
"I think I'm in love with you," I blurted out.
"Glad to hear that." He gave me a smile. "So, what do you want to do now?" he questioned.
"Actually, my main purpose to go in here was to sleep."
"Whose bed do you want to take?"
"Whose do you want me to take?"
"Mine," he stated right away. I let out a laugh.
"Of course." I got on his bed, it was drowning in his scent. "Do you want to stay with me, it feels cold?" I asked while closing my eyes.
"If you say so..." He got into the bed and he pulled me into his warm embrace. It was so comfortable and cozy that we both fell asleep right away.
Baekhyun's P.O.V.
It's been almost 2 hours and Kaistal aren't out yet so I'm guessing Krystal did actually fall asleep. I heard a knock on the door and Chanyeol went to open it since he and Amber were done with dinner.
"Taeyeon, what are you doing here?" I questioned when I saw Taeyeon walking in.
"I need to talk to you, don't you have your phone?"
"Oh yeah! It's in my room," I said as I stood up to go get it.
I sat back down next to Taeyeon once I grabbed it and saw something that captured my attention. It was an article.
EXO's Baekhyun and Girls Generation's Taeyeon Still Together? Or Are They Not?
Rumors had it that EXO's Baekhyun and Girls Genereation's leader Taeyeon have broken up. However, it was spotted at the airport after they both came back from KCON that they were wearing couple necklaces and also socks. As you can see, the rim of Taeyeon's sock is baby pink with a rhythmic pattern of triplet-eighth notes and sixteenth notes while the rim of Baekhyun's is baby blue and it also has the same rhythm on it. You can also see Taeyeon's couple necklace peeking out under her sheer top and Baekhyun's necklace which is mostly hidden under his jacket.
Shortly after they returned, S.M. Entertainment released an official statement:
"It is true that Baekhyun and Taeyeon had broken up a few months ago. It was on good terms and they now remain close friends. What they had on at the airport was just a coincidence, a lot of S.M. artists have those socks which they all received as a present and those necklaces aren't actually a pair. We've already confirmed that with them. We hope that you will continue supporting them in the future. Thank you."
Since S.M. confirmed it, I guess they're done.

After reading that, I looked up at Taeyeon. I was so mad and I can tell that she is too. None of what SM said was true. We are still together and those are couple items for sure. Why would SM release this statement without warning us first, why would they say this in the first place?
