The Story of Us

I see the letter on the table and I open it. It was an invitation for his Birthday celebration. It was invited under "Girls Generation".

Taeyeon walks in.

"I understand you aren't in good terms withyour father but this invitation is under the group's name so we have to go."

I sigh "I understand" I grab my water bottle from the fridge and head towards the living room. It was close to the part when I had my first kiss.

I sit down in between Sunny and Tiffany. That was the biggest mistake ever. I was about to drink my water then it really came up. I was drinking and all the girls got really excited. They bounced all over the couch and started hitting me. I ended up having water all over me and my face.

"Yah!" I scream

"You didn't tell us he kissed you!" Sunny yells

"I don't need to. I knew you guys were going to watch the show!"

"So mean, does your brother know?" Asked Taeyeon

"Yeah, he actually confronted me about this apparently all the guy groups know about this. Baekhyun, Minho, and I all had lunch together." I say

"So, when is he coming back over here?" Yuri asks

"I don't know. I'll have to ask" I say

"Cool. Let's go to bed" Hyoyeon says

We all get up and head towards our rooms. I go in my room with Tiffany.

"Where did you go today?"

"I hung out with Nickhun." She says

"You guys are so cute together." I say

"Thanks. You can use the bathroom first since you are already wet." She says

"Thank you" I say

The next morning

I woke up and just laid in bed. I really didn't want to get up. I turn to the side to see Tiffany not in bed. I lay there for a second and got up. I walk into the living room and lay down.

"Someone seems to be lazy this morning." Jessica says

I sigh "Yeah, I really am tired for some reason"

"Well, you got to get up though. We have to go shopping and pick out some dresses for the celebration." She says

"Okay" I say and get up.

We had our manager drive us to the mall. On the way there, I got a text from Minho.

MINHO: Morning Sunshine! How are you this morning?

ME: Morning to you too. I am really tried this morning but I still have to go shopping for a dress for the celebration tonight.

MINHO: Aww, my sunshine isn't feeling bright today? Good luck on dress shopping. Send me a picture when you are done picking one.

ME: No problem, I'll talk to you later. We are at the mall <3

MINHO: See you later jagiya <3

I smile and put my phone away. I look up to see the girls looking at me.

"What?"

"Nothing" Yoona says smiling they all turn their heads away from me. We got there and in the first store we went to, 4 of the girls picked their dresses and the rest of us still needed one. After the 4th store, Tiffany and I were the last to get a dress. It was has already been 4 hours of shopping and we really needed to quick up. At the last store we went to, I was able to pick a long dress since it's a Ballroom type theme.




I take a mirror selca and send it to Minho.

ME: This is my Dress. What are you wearing?

MINHO: Wah! My jagiya is so pretty. You will have to see what I'm go going to wear.

ME: so mean. I showed you mine. I guess i will just have to wait.

MINHO: yup :) I got to go. I'll see you tonight

ME: See you tonight ;)

I get change out of my dress and meet up with the other girls.

We pay for our dresses and go meet up with our hair and makeup stylists. I decided to get my hair re-dyed.


Night had fallen and we had 1 and 10 minutes until the party began. All the girls were ready and the makeup stylist was doing the final touches on my eyeshadow.

"All done"

"Alright thank you! You guys are the best!" I say to them.

We drove to the location and it took a whole hour to get there. We walked through the hall and came upon a ballroom full of people. All the girls looked beautiful in their dresses and the guys were all in suits and wearing masks. The girls and I walked down the long steps and right away I was greeted by multiple people.

I walked a little more and a man in a black, white, and gold mask appeared in front of me.

"May I have this dance?"

It was Baekhyun.

"Of course you can" I said smiling

He grabbed my hand and we were on the dance floor.

“Hi Oppa, you look really handsome." I say smiling

"My angel is so beautiful. How are you feeling?" He says

"I really don't know. I didn't want to go but I kind of had to." I say

"I'll be here for you." He says

We dance for a moment then it was time to switch partners.

I twirled to the next person. He was wearing the same colored clothes as me but in a really nice suit. I really didn't realize who it was not until he said.

"My jagiya is so beautiful!"

"Minho!" I say in shock.

"Hi beautiful. How are you?" He asks

"Okay, I'm kind of tired but this is fun."

"I saw you dancing with Baekhyun." He says and we both look towards him. He was dancing with Taeyeon.

"Yeah, I was. Now I know why you asked about my dress" I say grinning.

"Yup! We totally look good together though." He says

"Of course" I smile and it was time to switch partners again. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and I was off to the next person.

I ended up in the arms of a man a little bit shorter than me in a Black and dark blue Suit with a black mask. He looked really familiar and we danced around in circles until I realized we were the only ones on the dance floor. Every single person was looking at us.

"You are the main attraction right now Baekhee." He says

His voice sounded so familiar and I couldn't put a finger on it.

"It's a little scary." I say

"Don't worry, the song is almost over." He says

He twirled me a couple of times before the song ended. He bowed to me and I did the same. I walk to the crowd towards Minho.

He lifts up his hand and I grab on it. We interlock our hands. We were all called for dinner and we all got numbers for our seats. It was really weird because I didn't have same numbers like the rest of my members did nor did I have it with SHINEE, EXO, or any singing groups there. I ended up sitting at a weird table with people I didn't know and then Baekhyun showed up. I guess he will be sitting me.

It hit after a while. This was HIS table with HIS FAMILY!

Then the man I danced with earlier comes and sit down.

It was announced that every man here were to take off their masks and it was HIM.

My father. I looked at Baekhyun and he grabbed my hand. I had so many emotions running through my mind.

Soon Baekbeom was sitting next to me. It was the most awkward moment ever.

I glance at my members and they were all mouthing "it will be okay" I nod at them.

"So, I want to say a thank you to my family" he says turning to his wife and his kids. Then he looks at Barkbeom, Baekhyun and Me.

The past started to reappear in my mind and some tears started to form. They were all looking at me.

"Please let me be excused." I say and I get up from my seat and walk away. I walk out of the room and I walked with my hands covering my face.

I bumped into someone. It was Minho.

"Hey Baekhee" he says

"Oppa" I start to sob in my hands

"Hey, hey what's wrong?" He asks

"It really hurts." I say

"What hurt?" He says starting to get really worried and hugs me.

"My heart. I can't do it. Baekhyun and I ended up sitting with him and his family and he totally expects us to forget about the past and just go with it. It really hurts. The past keep popping up in my mind." I sob into my hands

"I understand but he really is trying. He regrets it." He says hugging me.

"Let's go get you cleaned up. He says

He takes me to the girl’s bathroom.

"Oppa! You can't be in here. It's the girls’ bathroom." I say

"It's fine. I will Text the guys to cover the door." He says

He takes out his phone and texts the guys and Baekhyun where I am.

We sit in there and he fixes my makeup. I can't believe that he is really doing it. In the end he did do a pretty good job at fixing it and making sure that my eyes weren't that puffy. We walk out of the bathroom and all the girls and guys were standing outside.

"You okay?" Taeyeon asks walking up.

"Yeah. Minho fixed my makeup" I laughed.

"He did a nice job." Baekhyun says walking up next to Taeyeon.

"How about we get back to dinner?" He says and we walk in as a big group.

We go back to the room to see everyone looking at us. We split ways to our seats and sit down.

"Everything alright?" My father asks

"Never better" I say

Some more dishes comes out and we start to eat.

"Oppa, I saw you and Taeyeon dancing earlier." I say looking at him

"Yeah, I kind of like her"

"Really?" I say

"Just don't say anything about this to her." He says

"Okay, I won't." I say

We talk for a little while and it was just me and my brother talking.

Dinner ended and there was more dancing and snacks.

I danced some more with my brother and I ended up dancing with every member in EXO, SHINEE, and Super Junior! It was one heck of a long night.

Soon I stopped dancing and I was talking to my members.

Someone grabbed my hand and I was pulled by someone. It was Minho.

He pulled me so I was against his chest with my hands on his buff arms.

"Hi" in a low voice

"Hi" I reply

"I want to take you somewhere" he says

"Okay" I say

He bows to my members apologizing for pulling me away and he took me outside.

It was a full moon and it was really pretty. He pulls me to the garden filled with roses and there was a swing set in the middle.

He pulled me and sat me down on the swing set with a bench seat.

He sits next to me and starts to use his feet to push it.

He holds my hand and I put my head on his shoulder.

"This is really nice. Thank you for taking me out here." I say

"I've been here before and you seemed really tired so I wanted to take you out here where you could relax a little" he says

Then it really came to me. Did he really have feelings for me? What about me?

We sit there in silence for a little and I ask him.

I lift my head from his shoulder and look at him.

"Minho, there's something I've been wondering. Do you really have feelings for me?"

He stops the swinging bench and looks at me.

"Of course I do. Why wouldn't I?"

"I don't know, I mean we never really talked before we were both on the show."

"Of course I like you I can't believe you asked that."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you." I say looking at him.

"I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to explode but I really do like you." He says

Then he comes closer to me and plants his lips on mine. His eyes are closed and I slowly close mine too. Soon he puts his hand on my neck and deepens the kiss.

We soon backed our heads away catching our breaths. He pulls me into a hug.

"I really like you." He says against my ear. I smile and wrap my arms around him.

"Wow, is this a real confession I hear?"

We let go and look around us. Baekhyun pops out then it turns out our groups and EXO was listening in on us.

< Baekhyun's POV >

I saw Minho pull my sister from her members and after they started walking away, I walked up to her members and ask

"Where is Minho taking my sister?"

"I don't know he pulled her and bowed an apology to us and took her away." Taeyeon says

Chanyeol comes up and listens to us.

"How about we go see what they are up to?" Sunny asks

"Sure" I say and we all start to walk in the direction
But then we realized that they were gone.

Key comes up to us

"Are you guys going to follow them too?"

"Yeah"

"We know where to go" Taemin says

Then as one giant group, and slowly follow Key, Jonghyun, Onew, and Taemin.

We see the two go into the garden full of roses. It had a bench swing in the middle. We all stopped and split up all around the garden.

What are they talking about?

"Of course I like you I can't believe you asked that." Minho says

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you."

Are they fighting?


"I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to explode but I really do like you."

Does Baekhee truly like Minho too?

Everyone is secretly watching them. Suddenly he comes closer and kisses her! They even deepened the kiss!

They both pull back and he hugs her whispering something in her ear.

I singal everybody to come out and they all nod

I say out loud


"Wow, is this a real confession I hear?"

Then they let go and look around as I walk out.

Baekhee looks down with embarrassment and Minho starts to blush.

Everybody starts to come out and look at the two.

Minho grabs her hand and says

"Of course it is. I really like your sister. I hope you understand"

I smile

"Of course I am hyung"

Everybody cheers and the girls run to Baekhee.

They all hug and congratulate her

The boys come around and congratulate Minho and teased him. I look at Suho and he was tearing up. He gets really emotional about these types of things.

Baekhee comes up to me and gives me a great big hug.

"Thanks Oppa."

"Of course. I want the best for you."

She lets go and grabs Minho's hand.

"You better protect her." I say pointing at Minho.

"Of course I will" he says letting go of her hand and putting it on her waist.

< Baekhee's POV >

I guess they all know now. So much for making it a surprise. But it is okay, I am really happy.

We all walk back in and danced some more. Towards the end, my father gave his last words of thanks and the party was over.

I was talking to Minho, Key, and Sunny when my father came up.

"Happy Birthday President" the other three each said and then I looked at my father and said Happy Birthday as well. It was a bit out of my zone but I couldn't be rude and not say anything

He thanked us all and he asked to go talk to Minho.

They both walked away.

< Minho's POV >

The president asked to talk to me so I left Baekhee there and went with him. We walked into a private room.

"You can sit down." He says

I sit down.

"So I want to talk to you about Baekhee." He says

"Okay" I reply

"Leaving Baekhyun and Baekhee there when they were young was the biggest mistake I ever made. The thing is that I couldn't. Their mom had custody over them because they were still too little and I was only able to take Baekbeom. After I got to see them after all these years, I was able to talk to Baekhyun but not Baekhee. Every time I look in her eyes, all I see was hurt and hatred towards me. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. Please protect her. I want to make things right but I don't want to hurt her as much as she is already hurt." He says

"Of course I will. I understand, I want to be there for her and I really love her." I say back

"Alright thank you. I want to make things right too but she is really fragile. I don't want to shatter her." He says

"I understand" I say

We go back to the party and everyone has left but my members, EXO, and Baekhee. The president thanks us one more time and he leaves.

I walk towards Baekhee.

"What was that about?"

"Nothing, he just wanted to talk to me about something." I say

I wrap my arms around her waist back hugging her.

"How about we all head home now?" Key says

"Where's your members?" I ask against her ear

"They went home already."

"Why aren't you with them?"

"I wanted to stay longer with you."

"Okay, we can take you home. I say

< Baekhee's POV >

I gave each of the EXO members a hug and gave Baekhyun a big hug before they left. SHINEE and I walked out after EXO had left.

We got into our car and it ended up as:

Taemin, Me, and Minho In the back with Key and Jonghyun in the middle while Onew in the front with the driver.

It was a 1 hour drive and we pretty much started out as talking and then it went dead silent. We played on our phones. Minho and I watched a movie and the rest were doing whatever.

After a while Taemin decided he wanted to sleep. His head was leaning on the side of the car and every time we ran over a bump, his head whacked the side of the car. So I decided to put his head on my shoulder.

Minho saw and he got totally jealous.

"The heck, I'm sitting right here you know." He says

I hit him in the arm.

"I know but his head keeps hitting the car and I felt bad. I have another shoulder. You can lean on this side." I say

"Okay!" He says and puts his head on my other shoulder. After 10 minutes, everybody was asleep but me and the driver.

"I'm glad you really like Minho. On the car, he was freaking out and talking about you." He says

"Aww, that's nice. I really do like him." I say

Then it became silent

"There are blankets in the trunk" he says

"Thank you" I say and reach for 5 different blankets. I take off my seatbelt and slowly set the two boy's heads off my shoulders. I put a blanket on Onew, then one on each for Key and Jonghyun. I sat back down and put one on Taemin and one for both me and Minho. I set their heads on my shoulder and closed my eyes.

**Dreamland**

I was sitting in my old room and staring up at the ceiling.

Why am I here?

Suddenly the door slams open and my mother comes in with unkempt hair and an empty bottle of vodka.

"How dare you leave?" She yells

"I-I" I stutter

"Don't mumble!" She yells and smashes the bottle against the wall making the bottle pieces fly everywhere.

I scream and cover my head from the pieces hitting me.

She charges the bottle towards me and-

** End of Dreamland**

I open my eyes gasping. I look around to see everyone still asleep. Suddenly Minho wakes up and lifts his head.

"Did I wake you?" I manage to say after catching my breath.

"Yeah, are you okay though? Did you have a bad dream?"

"Yeah, I'm okay though." I say

"Okay" he kisses my forehead and pulls my head into his shoulder.

I hold his hand and fall asleep

I was dreaming about Minho until he woke me up because we were here.

"Jagiya, wake up. We are here" Minho says shaking my shoulder

I slap his hand

"Andwae, let me sleep!" I whine.

My eyes are still closed and he kept shaking me

After while, I really didn't move and he decided to carry me. He carried me in a baby position. My legs were on both sides of his body and my arms around his neck. He held under my thighs and carried me towards the door.


He rang the doorbell and I opened my eyes.

The door opens

"Minho! You guys are finally home!" Sunny says

"She's really tired so I'll just carry her in" he says still holding me.

He walks in and sunny follows behind him looking at me. She winks at me.

He takes me into my room and Tiffany didn't seem to be in there.

I close my eyes and he sets me on my bed. He pulls the blanket and covers me. Then he sits down on my bed.

I feel him caress my hair and I feel him bend his head down. And plants a kiss on my lips.

I open my eyes and he looks at me not surprised.

He pulls back.

"Caught ya, I knew you were a wake." He says laughing

"Haha, funny." I say

He kisses my forehead again

"Goodnight. I'll text youtomorrow" he say

"Okay" I sit up and kiss him on the cheek.

"Good night jagiya" he says

"Good night yeobo" I say and lay back down before he gets up, turns off the lights and closes the door.

I close my eyes smiling and let slumber take over me.
