Friendship Connections || EXO

Chae Seol’s POV
Akkane and I ran and as we spotted the boy group entered the conference room. We walked carefully as we leaned our ears and eavesdrop about what they’re talking about.


“Unnie,” she was panting rapidly “Why do you even want that necklace so bad? Does that have some gold or superpowers or something?”


“When I was a child, my cousin locked me in a closet and when my parents found me I was unconcious. And that cousin gave me that necklace. Plus I just need to get that necklace back. He actually gave it to me as a lucky charm. Cause he have one for himself too. And he said that when we meet again we’re gonna throw our necklaces then our wish will be true. I don’t know if that’s true or he just invented all of that. If I don’t get that back, Or else….. I’m gonna get in big trouble. And even though he locked me in a closet I still need that back.” I explained with my eyes locked on the little window on the door.


Yes I can see EXO. But seven other men were facing their back at me, causing me not to identify them. I stick my ears even closer and pulled my hat down to cover my face. I stared at Akkane’s shoes while focusing with the conversation.


“Akkane, on the count of three, we’re breaking inside. COUNT OF THREE! Follow my words.” I explained as my hands layed on the door knob slowly.


“Hana,” As I made eye contact with her with nervousness in my eyes.


“Dul,” She nodded her head with courage


“Set” I turned the knob as we stood up and made eye contact with Ms. Song infront of us.
The time stopped and I felt my bangs flew in one direction of my face as the sun streamed in my eyes. My heart stopped and my hands turned cold. I rubbed my fingers onto my palms quietly as I took a nervous gulp.


“Unnie, you need to blink.” Akkane whispered.


I snapped out of that eye contact with my manager and the time began to tick again.


“O! Is that Bangta....” Akanne murmured


“Akanne you can go inside and tell them to start the meeting. I just have to talk to Ms. Chae Seol here. It’ll be quick.” She looked at Akanne.


I stared on my shoes as if they’re gonna escape from my feet. She cleared her throat and broke the silence between us.


“Where have you been? I can still accept this cause you’re still a rookie but there are your seniors inside that room and they can’t start yet because the spotlight is yours Chae Seol!” She almost shouted that made me step back a little.


“I'm so sorry it was some personal things and It will never happen again, I promise.”


She opened the door for me and I entered the proffesional scented room. I cleared my throat and walked inside confidently.


I walked towards the table as theit attention was hooked up on their papers infront of them.
I panickly sat on a chair with stack of papers on the table with my name on it. As I saw down and calmed myself down, I noticed that the EXO members infront of me was stealing glances at me. I turned my paper on page 1 and pretended to read.


“You’re Chae Seol right? You’re pretty famous here as a trainee. Well then we met again.” An artist that sat beside me whispered in my ears as I heared my group mates giggled. My eyes followed his arm that was comfortably layed on my chair backrest.


I almost rolled my eyes as I looked at his face.


“Ki-Kim Namjoon sunbaenim? Ah Hello.” I said shyly followed by a slight bow.


I looked away as I noticed that he was still looking at me. I looked on the paper as I heard some of the EXO members cleared their throats on purpose...... Loudly.


Namjoon chuckled and moved his arm away from my chair. He observed the EXO members as they were looking at him with a death stare.


He turned to look at me again in the eyes and said “It looks like you have a backup.... Ms. Park.” He smiled teasingly and looked away.


“Okay, so after the quick common rules, let’s go over the screen names and the group names.”
