Chae Seol’s POV

One of the things that Ms. Jung discussed to me, was that articles can spread around in just one tick of the clock. It can ruin an Idol’s image and even a future Idol or a Trainee.


I still remembered how my body felt the chills that went through my spine when I heard that. It was like she’s telling me how the power of Media works.


Well, speaking about articles, articles flew around SNS about me and EXO members. But SM Entertainment asked the publishers to kept my image anonymous for the sake of my future career.


I once saw the article on my SNS wall. One was about me with Kai at the parking lot and the other one that really made me frown because of them lacking the word “privacy.”


“EXO’s Chanyeol secretly hugging a girl at the park.”


I cried with disbelief because even at the park that I thought without people and a quiet park that can give us a little privacy, someone even managed to capture that?


1 and a half months had passed. After the incident that happened at the hotel, Ms. Jung asked me to pack my bags and move to SM Entertainment’s trainee dorm near the actual building, for my own safety. There, I met the finalized ‘New SMTOWN girl group members.’


Including me, we were a total of 12 artists. Yes, just like EXO with 12 members. And yes, 12 rookie artists that made Ms. Jung gave us a new middle name. The troublemakers.


And if the EXO members are formed with 8 Korean and 4 Chinese members, we are formed with 7 Korean (includes me) and 5 Japanese members. But the weird thing is that our managers haven’t decided about our group name and our screen names that makes me more nervous.


We talked a lot and share info about ourselves. Most of them trained for 3 to 4 years and there’s even almost 6 years. But when they ask me about my training period, I can’t even barely say 2 months…... I just don’t want them to feel the ‘that’s unfair’ feeling.


I spent most of my day at the SM Building training and training. Vocals, and Performance. Ms. Jung also tells me to keep my distance and connection between me and the EXO members until our debut. Well, in a short word, kinda banned from them. But on the other side, I know that they’re also busy preparing for their comeback.

We only have 1 week before our debut. But everyday seems like just an hour passing by due to our busy schedules. Our rehearsals got even more tight and hectic.


Ms. Cha, one of our manager told us that we’re gonna have a meeting about contract signings, screen name files and meet our promotional group etc.


After half an hour of vocal practice, I’m pretty irritated and tired from everything. Plus, we still have choreography practices. We were about to go to the practice room when I remembered that I accidentally left my necklace in the 9th floor recording room. Plus, Ms. Cha asked me to bring some clothes and coffee to Ms. Jung located at the same floor.


My arms looked like a clothes rack because of the clothes. I pressed the elevator button while carrying heavy clothes on my arms and also a hot steamy coffee on my right hand. I sighed heavily and entered the elevator. I asked the other person in the elevator to press the button. But instead of pressing it, he chuckled and looked at me.


“What am I, your assistant? You press it your own. You have hands and use it.” He explained.


‘Daebak! This guy really have the guts to say that! I swear, if I drop this heavy things out of my arms, he better run really fast as he can.’


I rolled my eyes on him and prevent my anger from bursting out. I looked at him straight in the eyes. The look that can go to his Cornea right through his Retina. He was wearing a mask and a black hat that covered his face to the point that his eyes were the only ones left.


I chuckled back. “Ya! I’m telling you this right now cause you’re getting on my nerves. But since I’m a good human being I’m gonna let this pass for now.” I took a deep inhale and a heavy exhale. “I….I am actually a trainee Mr….. Um, and I am, uh...pretty tired and these clothes are heavy and my right hand is kinda burning from the steamy coffee. So, since I know you’re not gonna help me, with these clothes, could you just please press the button.”


“You really don’t know who I am? You really don’t know?” He asked as he leaned towards my face and inspected my face.


“Do I have to know?” I asked.


He chuckled again. His chuckle that’s sounds really manly. I tried to think of any one with his kind of voice but if I try more, my head is gonna pop mentally.

I shook my head side to side just to stop my thoughts.
I squished my hand and try to press the elevator button. Then he was just there, looking at me. His phone rang and he answered it immediately.


“I’m at the SM Entertainment building now. Call me later okay?” He said over the phone.


The elevator door opened and he took a step out. He paused and looked at me.


“We will meet again, I promise.” He said.


I took one step close to him. Then I pulled out all of my force and I stepped on his foot.


“I would never like to. And we will never! This is the last time I’m gonna meet the rudest man I ever met in my whole entire life!” I yelled.


He moaned and tried to catch his foot. He’s lucky I was wearing a running shoes that time so it didn't hurt that much.


I walked past by him and fast walked until I reached Ms. Jung’s room. I gave everything to her. The clothes that felt so heavy and the hot, steamy coffee.

My arms felt heaven. Then I stretched and stretched until the numb goes away.

“Aigoo! Are you okay? I’m so sorry.” She whined a little.


“I’m okay Ms. Jung! Don’t worry.”


I stepped out of her room and walked towards the recording room just to find my lost necklace.

I stopped as I saw EXO in there. I listened carefully and hid myself behind the wood door and. I peeked quickly on the big glass window. They were preparing a new song with smile in their face. I looked around the room when I saw my necklace near Baekhyun’s butt. Yes, I know it sounds ridiculous but I almost bit my tongue when he almost move his butt near it. I groaned when a long haired girl crossed her arm with mine. And we almost like running towards the woman’s bathroom.


She let go of me and I looked at her. I sighed in relief as I saw Akanne’s excitement.


“EXO! We’ll gonna meet them later after their recording!” She giggled. I don’t want to ruin her excitement so I just smiled. Nervousness rushed through my body as I remember EXO. Not excitement.
