DO Kyungsoo’s POV

As soon as I reached Yeon Ra’s apartment and ran nervously through the front of her door. I stood in silence as the door was ajar. I touched the door knob carefully with my shaking hands.
As I opened the door, I looked around but no one was there.

“Yeo-Yeon Ra? Where are you?” I asked as my voice slightly echoed through the silent room.

I took one step as I heard someone crying quietly.

I walked and followed the noise until my body stopped. I looked at her crying beside the couch that pinch my heart carefully and painfully.


I sat quietly in front of her and I carefully let my hand touch her hair just to see her face. Her cheeks was all wet and her puffy eyes met with mine as my heart continued to ache. She jumped and hugged me tightly.


“Kyungsoo-ah, you came.” Her voice was a whisper that lingered in my ears.

“Yes, I’m here. And I’ll always be here to protect you.” I said as my eyes became blurry
because of tears, but I controlled it from falling.


She let go from my shoulders and refused to meet my eyes.

“Yeon Ra, what’s wrong?”

“Why, do I have this feeling? Why do I have this strange feeling for Kai. Why...”

I waited for her to to finish that sentence but hoping not to hear the word I never wanted to hear from her.


“Why do I love him?”


My heart sank and went blank through the silent room between our voices. I felt like the world has been totally mad at me. Because of hearing things I don’t deserve to hear from her.


‘What about me. Why do I love you Yeon Ra? But why do you love someone else?’ My heart was screaming for me to tell her through my cracking voice. But I just kept it to myself.


“Yeon Ra, let’s have a dinner tomorrow with the Exo members and Chae Seol. It’ll become our congratulate party for her and you have to face Kai yourself.” I added.


“Congratulate? For what?” She asked curiously.


“She’s an official trainee now at SM Entertainment.” I said as I expected for her smile.
My phone rang and my manager asked me to go back to our dorm now. I left Yeon Ra’s apartment with a pain in my heart.


As I opened the dorm room, the living room was fulled with laughter and noise with the rest of the EXO members. I spotted Kai watching them as he stood.


I walked and stopped behind him. I whispered so that he could only hear.
“We need to talk. Follow me.”

Kai’s POV
I followed Kyungsoo hyung until the patio. He turned around and looked at me solemnly.

“Why are we here? Can we go inside and talk? It’s cold out here.” I crossed my arms as I talked.


I took one step as he began to talk.

“You. I saw that you kissed Yeon Ra when you were drunk. You hurt her feelings by giving her chances and for keeping her hoping for you to love her back.” He looked at me right in the eyes. I lingered my eyes on his fist that was trembling with anger, ready to punch me anytime.


“What do you mean?” I asked in confusion. Yet, I had enough clue to know everything.

“Kai. Yes, I love her. But instead, she love you more than me. I want you two to date. I can’t bear seeing her being hurt.” He added. His eyes were full of expectations.


“Is this really easy for you to say? I kissed her because I was drunk. That doesn’t mean I have any feelings towar….”


“Please do this for me. For our friendship.” He finished.

My mind was filled with disbelief as I heard every words came out from his mouth.


‘How come he forced me to love someone I don’t really love?’
