Love At First Sight (Xiuchen fanfic)

Another day has passed by and Xiumin tiredly woke up from his wonderful dream. Once he woke up he brushed his teeth, had a shower, woke up Hwa-Young, made breakfast, took Hwa-Young to school and went to his café part-time job. The usual of what happens before he goes to school. While he was serving his customers as a Barista and a cashier he see’s someone he didn’t expect to arrive into the small yet popular café, the new transfer student, Chen. Xiumin tried to hide his shock as Chen was coming near him. Once Chen was infront of the till Xiumin smiled brightly. “Welcome to the Baozi Café may I take your order?” Xiumin asked politely. Chen looked at him weirdly.

“One latte please and make it quick.” Chen told him once he decided. Xiumin nodded happily before he started to make his latte.

“So is this your first time coming to the baozi café?” Xiumin asked, trying to make conversation. Chen rolled his eyes at this but decided to answer anyway.

“Yeah after 5 years so you better do well in making this latte.” Chen warned. Xiumin started to laugh at this.

“Oh don’t worry because you’re my classmate I will make it the best of the best.” Xiumin explained happily as he started to make his design at the top of the latte, it was a heart with the initials ‘C & X’ then saying below it ‘forever’. Once he perfected the design he smiled brightly. “See! Think of it as of my affection.” Xiumin told before handing over the latte to Chen. Then put his hand out. “That is 450 won please.” Xiumin said. Chen scoffed before handing over the money and then sitting down so he could drink the latte. Once Chen drank the latte his eyes widened. He soon gulped down the whole latte before he wiped his mouth sloppily with his jumper. He looked at Xiumin with his eyes wide open.

“That’s the best latte I have ever drunken in my entire life.” Chen exaggerated. Xiumin giggled at this.

“Thanks but you still got some foam around your mouth.” Xiumin told while trying to show where it was which didn’t work since Chen kept on wiping the wrong parts around his mouth. Xiumin soon gave up showing and decided to do it himself. Xiumin got hold of a cloth before he went around the counter so he could easily be able to wipe off the foam. “Don’t worry I’ll do it.” Xiumin said before he went quite close to Chen and started to wipe it off. Chen was too shocked to move while Xiumin was unaware of the closeness. Once Xiumin was done he smiled brightly. “See! Now it’s gone!” Xiumin said looking up. “XIUMIN! I’M HERE TO TAKE YOU TO SCHOOL NOW!” Baekhyun shouted as he arrived into the café. Everyone in the small café was used to this shouting because it happened everyday even the customers were used to this! Once Xiumin and Chen heard the sound of Baekhyun they jumped 5ft away from each other. Baekhyun walked towards the two, looking at them suspiciously. Once Baekhyun was close enough Chen awkwardly rubbed his neck.

“I-I have to go. S-See you in school.” Chen rushed before he ran out of the café. Baekhyun eyed him before he turned back to Xiumin with a rosen eyebrow.

“Did something happen between you and Chen?” Baekhyun curiously asked. Xiumin also awkwardly rubbed his neck.

“Well I have to tell manager hyung that I am going and that I will be back later after school before getting changed. Don’t want to be late for school, ey?” Xiumin rushed before he started to head to see his manager.This made Baekhyun even more suspicious. ‘What is happening between the both of them?’

As they reached towards school they hurried over towards their classroom. They now had 10 minutes left to spare when Xiumin remembered that he hasn’t got his books yet so he quickly excused himself before hurrying over to his locker. Only to stop his journey when he saw Chen. Xiumin skipped towards Chen before saying hi. “What do you want Xiumin?” Chen asked irritated. Xiumin smiled brightly towards Chen.

“I just wanted to know if you are coming back to the baozi café.” Xiumin wondered. Chen rolled his eyes at Xiumin.

“And why would you care?” Chen asked while tilting his head. ‘Why do I care?’ Xiumin thought. Xiumin quickly pushed the thought away before smiling.

“Because you’re a customer! And once a customer, always a customer so you better come back.” Xiumin warned childishly. Chen rolled his eyes once again.

“Yeah Sure.” Chen said sarcastically but little did Chen know was that Xiumin took it seriously. Xiumin’s eyes brightened.

“Really?! Then you better come again after school okay?” Xiumin asked cutely. Chen muttered a whatever before he started to head to his classroom. Once Chen walked away Xiumin suddenly remembered why he was walking in the first place so he started to head to his first destination, his locker. But his journey was once again stopped when he received a punch in the face. No one was here since everyone was in their classrooms. Xiumin turned to see who he thought it was, Oh Sehun. Sehun made a tch’ed noise before tilting his head.

“Yah fatty you’re getting a little too close to Chen, don’t you think?” Sehun asked as he threw a kick then another punch. “Stay away from him. I’ll be watching.” Sehun warned before he continued to hit Xiumin.

1 minute until the bell will ring and Sehun left Xiumin. Xiumin slowly got up and went towards the toilets before seeing the state of his body he sighed before using his makeup skills, hiding his bruises. The bell rang soon enough but Xiumin ignored it since he needed to cover these bruises. Once his bruises were covered enough he went to his locker and started to put his books in his bag before limping over towards his designed room. Once he entered the classroom he apologized to the teacher before bowing. The teacher told him its okay before sending him off to his seat, limping when Baekhyun started to ask questions. “What took you so long to go to your locker? And what happened to your ankle did someone do something?!” Baekhyun whispered shouted. Xiumin sighed deeply.

“I was going to my locker when I saw Chen so I started to talk to him about the café and that took like 6 minutes and then I skipped towards my locker when my foot started to act up again that’s all.” Xiumin explained, not mentioning his encounter with Sehun, before continued to listen to the teacher. Baekhyun pouted because of the less information he received.

“Ok study hall now I need to go to a meeting.” The teacher explained before walking out of the classroom. With this everyone started to get out of their seats and started to talk loudly. With this Baekhyun turned towards Xiumin giving him a look realizing this he changed the subject.

“Do you want to see Hwa-Young today? I am bringing her to the café.”Xiumin quickly said. Baekhyun still gave him the look while saying.

“Okay. That will be nice.” Xiumin smiled at this.

“Great! Then do you want to meet her in the café or –“ Xiumin soon got interrupted by Baekhyun.

“DO NOT CHANGE THE SUBJECT!” Baekhyun shouted which made Xiumin wince. Xiumin pouted at this.

“Don’t yell at me.” Xiumin told in a cute voice. Baekhyun rolled his eyes at this.

“Aish you may be 18 years old now but you’re a child at heart. I feel sorry for Hwa-Young.” Baekhyun said while crossing his arms. Xiumin was offended by this.

“Hey!” Soon Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun arrived at Xiumin’s desk but not for him but Chen.

“Yah Chen can you give us a second?” Chanyeol asked. Chen uncertain nodded anyway.

“Yeah Sure.” He soon got up from his seat and followed Xiumin and Baekhyun thought this was weird but didn’t say anything about it.

Chanyeol, Kai and Sehun took Chen towards the field in their school so they could talk privately. Once they arrived Chanyeol turned towards Chen before speaking. “So Chen or shall I say…” Chanyeol started before he grabbed Chen with his hand before opening his top so you could see a lightening sign on his hip. “Kim Jongdae, the sign of thunder.” Chanyeol finished. Chen harshly pushed Chanyeol out of his grasp before he tried to punch him only for Chanyeol to hold his fist. Chen chuckled at this.

“So you know let me guess are you one too?” Chen tilted his head. Chanyeol snickered.

“That doesn’t matter right now what matters is your one of them. And to keep this a secret join us.” Chanyeol told. Chen started to think.

“Fine.”

Anyway I want to thank you guys for all the support I got with these 3 weeks! It means so much! Sorry that I didn't say this with my other story, Haru Haru I had to rush that since I had to go to bed and such. But I really really mean it. Although I am still having such a hard time I miss writing plus I don't want you guys to wait for a long time for a chapter plus my exams are next week so I thought you guys needed the update!
