Love At First Sight (Xiuchen fanfic)

As Xiumin was walking with Hwa-Young he realised that someone was outside of his home. Someone he didn't expect. They soon saw him and walked towards him before Xiumin could say anything they did. "Hello, Mr Xiumin. I know this is quite unexpected but this quite important. We are here for Hwa-Young. You see, we heard that she was missing for a whole week and obviously, you are responsible because of this we decided to put Hwa-Young in an orphanage." They told which made Xiumin speechless.

While, Chen was leaning against the wall unexpectantly talking to Xiumin's brother. "It's over now. You have been abusing Xiumin, a worker which is against the law. You are under arrest." Chen told before cuffing his hands. Xiumin's brother was shocked at this. On Chen's sign, some policeman arrived and had forced Xiumin's brother into the police car.

"I'll get you for this!" Xiumin 's brother shouted before the car drives away. Chen's work was done. As he was walking away he saw something which confused him...

"Please don't take Hwa-Young away. She's my happiness. She's my joy. She's my life just please don't take her away. Give me one more chance." Xiumin pleaded. But the social worker's care workers were not listening to him.

"We don't care Mr Xiumin. We have to take her away. It's part of our job." They told before they tried to take Hwa-Young away.

"Not so fast." A voice told, shocking everyone. Xiumin looked up to see... Chen walking to their direction.

"I am Xiumin's boyfriend." Xiumin was lost at words. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Chen was also shocked at what he heard but he felt that those words were right. He quickly shook away those words and continued as he tilted his head. "Anyway what is happening?" Chen asked. The social worker huffed before he started to explain.

"Hwa-Young had been missing for a week this shows us that Xiumin has not been doing his duties as a parent so we have to take Hwa-Young away to an orphanage." The social worker explained.

"Your wrong!" Chen snapped, shocking everyone. "Hwa-Young was not missing she was with me the whole time so you are wrong so you don't have an excuse for Hwa-Young to be taken." Chen lied but it seemed they brought it. They soon left but gave Xiumin one more warning. Xiumin wanted to thank him so he invited Chen to dinner in his home. Chen agreed to this.

Once they were done eating Hwa-Young went to study. Xiumin started to pick up the plates. Chen helped him which made Xiumin protest. "Allow me. It's the least I can do." Chen told. Xiumin gave in then nodded. They took the plates and glasses to the kitchen when they started to talk and clean. "I know this is a bit sudden but where is Hwa-Young's mum? She isn't in this house and she wasn't here for dinner either so where is she?" Chen asked, tilting his head. Xiumin paused in his steps before he sighed.

"She's dead," Xiumin stated. Chen looked at him with sympathy.

" I am so sorry I didn't know." Chen sympathised. Xiumin fake smiled before shaking his head, no.

"It okay. Don't worry about it." Xiumin told, looking up at Chen. They froze for a minute as they looked at each other's eyes. They soon felt each other's faces go closer when...

"Appa!" They both heard, making them jump away from each other . They soon saw Hwa-Young coming into the kitchen. Xiumin looked at her direction.

"Yes, sweetie?" Xiumin answered, making her giggle.

"Not you appa! My new appa, Chen-ssi." Hwa-Young told before jumping on Chen holding onto his neck. Chen quickly held Hwa-Young so she doesn't fall but he couldn't help but look shocked. Xiumin on the other hand, looking betrayed. Xiumin huffed before he crossed his arms cutely.

"What do you mean appa? Also, you can't have two appa's." Xiumin reasoned. Hwa-Young nodded at this fact.

"Appa said you were his boyfriend and you never know you might get married one day so I should actually get used to calling Chenssi appa so...as you are saying that I can't appa's then I guess I can call Chen-ssi appa and appa...eomma!" Hwa-Young told brightly.

Xiumin looked at her in a teasing manner while Chen tried not to chuckle.

"Why you..." Xiumin started before he started to tickle Hwa-Young.

5 minutes of tickling Hwa-Young, Xiumin stopped as he remembered something. "That's right. Hwa-Young you wanted to say something?" Xiumin asked. Hwa-Young soon remembered.

"Appa...I want to thank you for stopping the social workers taking me to the orphanage. The truth was...I was scared that I will never see eomma again and I didn't want that to happen because no matter whether he was weak or strong at moments he was always there for me no matter what. So...thank you." Hwa-Young told before she quickly pecked Chen's cheek and soon got out of Chen's grasp and went over to Xiumin.

"Goodnight eomma. Goodnight appa." Hwa-Young continued now kissing Xiumin's cheek. She soon walked away to her bedroom, leaving Xiumin and Chen in the kitchen.

Once she left to bed Chen started to laugh, making Xiumin snap his head towards him. "What are you laughing at?" Xiumin pouted, making Chen laugh more at this. Chen soon shook his head at this.

"It's nothing...eomma." Chen teased, making Xiumin flick his forehead while pouting.

"Shut up," Xiumin muttered, making Chen laugh even more.

After much mockery and teasing from Chen he soon left. Xiumin soon went up towards Hwa-Young's room to see that she left her clothes on the floor. Smiling at this, Xiumin picked up her clothes only to see that a note had fallen. Xiumin confused, picked up the note to see his name on it, making him more confused so he opened it to read the contents.

' To Minseok,

Do you like my surprise? Our child seemed to love it! What was her name again? Hwa-Young? She looked so helpless, always crying for her daddy to come and save her but guess what? Even if she is with you right now does not mean that you saved her. Oh no this is just the beginning. Next time it will be much worse. More than you imagine. Oh, you and Hwa-Young will never be saved and never will be free. You watch. It will be a total nightmare. This is all from me but I am warning you. I will always be watching you.

Xiumin was speechless, he was too shocked to speak. He soon realized that him and Hwa-Young was not safe anymore.
