Taeyeon smiled with content.
Being on the beach at night was pretty odd and not ideal for most but Taeyeon loved it. She adored when Baekhyun would take her on the sand for a walk at night to see the midnight colored sky reflect onto the dark waters as well as stars making it seem like they were floating on ocean waves. After walking, they’d just sit on the beach in each other’s arms, looking at nothing in particular, and giggling like children.
This always took her away. Away from problems and stress for a while, it cleared the clutter of thoughts she always seemed to have. Small things like a bad joke or something like that would trigger massive anxiety for Taeyeon bringing back bad and distasteful memories of her own along with the weight of her career to be the “perfect” idol and role model, she was restless all the time. The thought of her past with Baekhyun, having a lot of fights and awkwardness with him and even at one point breaking up with him along with the loss of her beloved friend and co-member, Jessica, tried to break into her head once again but it failed. If you genuinely have a clear state of mind, your mindset is the strongest it will ever be and Taeyeon felt that way now that she had repaired her relationship with Baekhyun.
There was something about him that just made her feel content no matter what the situation. Surprisingly, he was two years younger than her and he was the one who convinced her to date him though she said she wasn’t into younger guys. Dating younger guys seemed so weird to Taeyeon and the fact that she dated him anyways was odd to her yet she was here on this beautiful night, in his arms.
“Why are you so perfect?” Baekhyun said out of the blue with the waves seeming to rock with his soft heartbeat. Taeyeon blushed as if it was a compliment she didn’t get at least twice a day from him, even if he used the same cheesy love line every day it made her heart flutter like every time it rolled off his tongue. “Yah! Don’t say that,” Taeyeon whined whilst nuzzling self-consciously into her boyfriend’s chest. “How come? You are truly beautiful,” he said again making Taeyeon jokingly groan in fake frustration. Baekhyun laughed at it finding the action cute. “It’s just...Baekhyun, you know how I am, right? It just feels weird to me,” Taeyeon shuddered unintentionally as if compliments were disgusting but it was just her awkwardness in the way of enjoying it. “Babe, you’re fine,” he cooed into her hair softly stroking the blonde, short strands. “You’re so cheesy Baek!”
The couple stared out into the ocean which seemed to be a now jet black as well as the sky, thick clouds had begun to loom over the sky concealing the dim starlights. This meant rain would pour on the next day and Baekhyun and Taeyeon should get going.
After their little ‘date’, Taeyeon was in an unusually playful mood contrasting from her usual calm one. As soon as they got into the car, Taeyeon was all over Baekhyun.
Straying away from playful puns for silence was the best tease, she got to work on his collar on his white-button down shirt. “Hon, what are you doing?” Baekhyun chuckled but then moaned when he felt her hot, wet tongue on his collarbone. Frustratingly, she didn’t even answer and only focused on possibly trying to get him to lose focus on the road. “Tae, you know I have to focus on the road right?” Baekhyun groaned obviously having an uncomfortable strain in his pants which Taeyeon didn’t hesitate to palm at. Taeyeon knowing she was the cause of this, only displayed a smirk. “Just focus on the road then,” Taeyeon replied slyly before wreaking havoc on his body again.
Within a few minutes time, his buttons were gone most of them flying off from the seam and his shirt was wide open revealing his toned torso.
Baekhyun didn’t seem like he’d ever had a toned body at all but on the contrary seeming rather cute and slim. Baekhyun’s an obvious thin fellow but he has one hell of a body. Baekhyun’s phone definitely lit up with his ringtone noisily sounding throughout her house but his phone did not say their manager’s name, it said something else that she couldn’t make out possibly because of the darkness in her bedroom so she assumed she couldn’t read it properly because of that but by the time she was done, Baekhyun was dressed and he gave her a quick peck on the cheek before running down her staircase and leaving. “Dammit Baek!” She cussed out loud lying on the bed frustratedly. One thing she didn’t like about her relationship with him is that Baekhyun was busy at the best times and it pissed her off. One moment, he could do nothing but hold her lovingly in his arms, but the next is business before his own girlfriend. It didn’t make any sense whatsoever.
As those thoughts swirled around in her head, Taeyeon sighed sadly before curling up in her sheets and falling asleep alone, like she’d done for the past few nights.
